My son and i checked into this condo at the end of June and were very disappointed with the overall experience. The condo unit advertised was very deceptive, with pictures making it look like it was a beach front condo. The property itself was unkept and very outdated as was the condo unit. There was a strong smell of mildew/mold odor as soon as we walked in. Still could not find the hot tub and tennis court advertised in the listing. Would not recommend using VRBO.

Location location location. Literally steps to the sand and ocean. This condo is a walk across the street from John’s Pass where there’s many shops and dining options. The pool area was very clean and nice with an abundance of chairs and even grills with a covered dining option. The condo is fully furnished and functional and the balcony has a great side view of the ocean. There were beach chairs which made it convenient for those who fly. We never had issues during our stay. If you are looking for convenient accommodation without all the frills this property is exceptional

Great location right on the beach, all the shops and restaurants are a short walk across the street, with the marina and boardwalk On this trip we saw a group of Manatees, feeding right on the shoreline Great weather but a bit hot this time

Property was very close to many good restaurants and shopping. This property is centrally located between Clearwater and St. Pete. Both are easily accessible via the bus/trolley line that runs about every 20 minutes. No need to find parking at the beaches. Nice pool and beach access.

THIS condo will be out FIRST choice when we come back down to the area. We are somewhat picky when it comes to giving someone our repeat business. Barbara reached out to make us feel welcome in our brief communications. The current photos accurately represent the condition of the condo, however there were positive changes to the decor which made our visit even more comfortable than how the photos would indicate. The beach-side amenities provided us with needed items (important as we flew in). Overall, one of the better beach trips (albeit too short for us) we've taken in our nearly 40 years together.

Stayed at this condo for a girl’s trip last month. The location of this condo is absolutely perfect! Right on the beach and directly across from John’s Pass which is full of on-the-water restaurants and shops. Beautiful side view of the ocean from the balcony. Communication with the host was great. She was very helpful answering the questions we had before arriving. Condo itself is a bit outdated, smells musty, shower wasn’t very clean and the spare room is small. The toilet runs until you jiggle the handle and bring TP because extra is not provided and wasn’t even a full roll. Overall we were very happy with our stay!

Spent a week at this property with my girlfriends and the place was exactly as described. Location was great: no car needed; Condo had all necessary provisions; Pool was clean and quiet and Barbara, the property host, was very accommodating to our needs. Would definitely stay here again: top notch place!

Located directly across the street from John's Pass with restuarants, attractions and shopping. Beach access is great as well.

Property was as advertised and we had a nice time. Got to meet the lady who cleans the space and had a great time talking to her as well. Very nice trip!

We had the most amazing family vacation staying at this condo! Perfect location. We had everything we needed at the condo. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was amazing at communicating and was always available to answer my questions. Cannot wait to stay here again the future!

Overall very nice. Includes condo, parking, pool and beach. John’s pass has very good shopping and restaurants.

Great location! Right on the beach and across from John’s Pass. The trolley stop is steps away. We took it to Clearwater Beach and St Pete’s Beach. All the amenities you need!

I had a confusing interaction with a cleaning person and I may have offended the host a bit. That was not a typical check in day for anyone im sure. That aside - The place is pretty typical of a sea side vacation home built sometime in the 90s or so. Everything you need is there (beach chairs, toys, beach towels etc) everything makes sense (wifi, lights, TV) and is clearly communicated. The laundry facility is right around the corner from the condo and everyone seems to take care of it well and is respectful. You will need quarters to operate it. If anyone happens to be traveling with little ones, I noticed the bedroom that has one large bed also has a very large closet, big enough to set up a pack and play for naps. The fan for the bathroom could also double as a white noise machine :-) it stays pretty dark and quiet in that area of the place. Just a tip if you are a mom trying to think of EVERYTHING.

Great location on Maderia Beach...walking distance to Johns Pass and various local establishments. Right on the beach with great access. No hiccups, easy communication, everything went super smoothly.

Spacious apartment, right on the beach and close to John's Pass Village. 30 min drive to St. Petersburg’s museums and restaurants.

We had a girls trip and this property was PERFECT. Centrally located. Beach access. Saltwater heated pool. Great condo. Property owner was accommodating and a great communicator. Would highly recommend!

The bed in the second bedroom was not very good but the rest of the flat was very good the balcony faced a wall but you could just see the beach. The pool was good and easy to get to the beach. Easy reach to the broadway some very nice shops and restaurants Caddy’s was the best one that we found.

Apartment was very lovely with everything we needed. Clear information and easy to check in. Location superb with pool and beach close by. Really enjoyed our stay.

There was a little issue when we got there, but that was resolved quickly and we had a great time. Loved the location right on the beach, which was silky soft sand. And you are right across from John’s Pass Village so very walkable to restaurants and shops.

This was our 8th time staying there and it was great as usual. Great location so that you can walk across the street to Johns Pass and see the draw bridge open. It is always very nice to have beach chairs and sand toys, etc there so that we don't have to bring them or buy them. The condo is always clean and comfortable and has everything we need.

Property was very clean, and in an excellent lccation, right across the street from John's Pass. Kitchen was well stocked with necessary cooking/ dining items. Appreciate the fact that the balcony had a table and chairs, and also contained beach chairs, floats, noodles and boogie board. Though not beach front, unit had a nice view of the beach.

Super place direct on the beach, 2 feets to Jonh pass village. The condo have a beautiful view on the sea even if the balcon is on the side.

Everything was great, but it could need a little updating
