3 bedroom Coastguard Cottage on Camber Sands
Number 7 Coastguard Cottages es una cabaña victoriana adosada de 3 dormitorios que forma parte de una hilera de antiguas casas de guardacostas justo al lado de la playa en Jury's Gap, Camber Sands. Simplemente salga por la puerta, cruce el jardín y suba los escalones de la pared del mar para llegar a la playa de arena. Hay espectaculares vistas al mar desde las ventanas de arriba.
El número 7 acaba de ser completamente renovado con todos los nuevos electrodomésticos, plomería, cocina, baños e interiores. El estilo es luminoso y espacioso, con muchos pisos de madera pintados de color pálido, paredes de ladrillo encaladas, baños de estilo victoriano y accesorios retro siempre que sea posible, pero sin sacrificar el confort. La calefacción se realiza mediante radiadores eléctricos de columna de estilo victoriano y todas las ventanas tienen acristalamiento secundario desmontable, por lo que es agradable y acogedor en invierno. Hay un enorme tanque de agua caliente, por lo que siempre debe poder tomar un baño o una ducha caliente cuando regrese de la playa.
Estacione su auto al final del pequeño jardín costero y suba los escalones hasta la puerta azul pálido. Ingrese a la cocina de la nueva cocina totalmente equipada con unidades de color gris pálido, horno eléctrico y vitrocerámica, microondas, lavavajillas y frigorífico.
Salga de la cocina al comedor con una cómoda victoriana, un banco y una mesa de comedor para sentar a 6 personas más un pequeño sofá para relajarse. A través del comedor se encuentra la sala de televisión con un enorme sofá esquinero y un televisor de pared de 46 ".
En la planta baja, en el sótano, se encuentra un acogedor dormitorio (con ventana) con una cama king size y un baño con bañera independiente de estilo victoriano con grifos de ducha, lavabo e inodoro. NB: el techo del sótano es bastante bajo, por lo que las personas altas podrían estar mejor en el cuarto de arriba.
El trastero / lavadero con lavadora y equipo de limpieza también se encuentra en el sótano.
Subiendo la escalera victoriana desde el comedor, se encuentra el primer piso con otra habitación doble luminosa y espaciosa con cama king size y un baño grande con bañera independiente, cabina de ducha, lavabo e inodoro. Maravillosas vistas de la playa desde todas las ventanas de esta planta.
Desde el rellano del primer piso, suba las pintorescas y pequeñas escaleras hasta la habitación del ático con dos ventanas Velux que brindan fantásticas vistas a lo largo de la hermosa costa. En esta habitación hay dos camas individuales pequeñas que se pueden juntar con colchones con cremallera y eslabones para hacer una cama doble tamaño king si es necesario.

The house was beautifully presented but.There is an overriding smell of damp particularly in the basement and attic bedrooms. There is major work being carried out in the sea defences and the main work storage site is between the house and the beach.Wirk noisily started at 7am. The front door lock really should be replaced. It was a nightmare to open the door from outside

We had a great time. Two older adults, two 18 year olds and a child, plus dog. The location is wonderful - we were blessed with good weather. Close to the beach. The house is very comfortable. Highly recommended.

The rain and wind were a perfect combination for us -- we had the beach largely to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed our dog walks. So close and convenient, it was a treat. And the Cottage was very cozy!

The cottage is in the perfect location being 2 minutes from the beach. The views are amazing.
The cottage is very comfortable with quirky decor. Everything we needed was there with the addition of a lovely cake.

The property is spread over four floors with quite narrow stairs, this wasn’t a problem for us but I could see potential difficulties for some.
Access to the house is also via several wooden steps.
We stayed here for three nights, spending the days visiting various villages. Transport is a must as there’s very little in walking distance.
We would definitely stay here again, we found it peaceful, relaxing and very homely.

Such a find! An amazing location - the beach is just stunning! We had a wonderful time. It blew my 5 year old's mind to have what felt like a private beach and such a flat one (you have to walk a long time out to sea to find deep water) made it really easy for her. And perfect sandcastle sand :)
Property itself was also superb. Really well equipped. My daughter loved her little attic room and we were really comfortable in the main bedroom. Plenty of space, kitchen easy, coffee machine a life saver :)

A great "Getaway" cottage thoughtfully prepared and with a welcoming feel. It was easy to slip into feeling relaxed and the beach was great for regular dog walking. Good information about the locality including restaurants. If you prefer to avoid hustle and bustle this could just be the place to stay.

Excellent stay
This is a lovely property with a lot of character and a very relaxing place to stay, highly recommended. We were made to feel very welcome and Nicola's communication was excellent

Better than the pictures!
We had a lovely stay, the house was fantastic and the description was accurate, any questions that I had were addressed immediately. Decor lovely and available appliances etc more thoughtful and useful than experienced in previous properties. Would highly recommend!

The cottage itself was beautifully presented with some quirky features adding to its charm. Everything was catered for, with plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery and utensils in the kitchen. There were board games, books and DVDs in the lounge to keep you amused if you so wished.
With a nautical theme running through out the cottage each room was painted white and so looked clean and bright. With 6 of us staying we never felt crowded as there were 4 floors. Any questions we had before we went were quickly answered by Nicola the host. It was perfect and we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return.

Lovely Break
Booked last minute to catch a few days of warm weather. Booking very easy and Nicola was a star to fit us in. Would have looked a few more days if the property hadn’t been booked already. Lovely position very close to the beach which was like your own private one being a little distance from the more commercialised Camber Sands. Property decor very much in line with the name, very quirky and interesting. Wonderful quality bedding and great bathrooms which felt like new. Would definitely return for another stay in the future

An escape from the crowds
We were hoping for a holiday where we had plenty of space to run about on the beach and swim in the sea - this house is so close to the sea and so far from the crowds of Camber that it totally met our hopes and expectations.

A wonderful week
From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. Nicola was attentive and made sure everything was ready for us and explained all of the COVID-19 rules etc.
We stayed for four nights; four adults, one child and two dogs. We absolutely loved it and felt at home straight away.
We would definitely recommend it to our family and friends. It's a real treasure of a place.

Brilliant break
Great property. So well equipped, fitted and decorated. Super dog friendly. Not bombarded with lots of rules like so many places. I defy you to get much nearer to miles of mostly deserted beach. Just awesome. Thanks Nicola!

Beautiful Home. Brilliantly equipped. Very well taken care of by host with welcoming touches.
Great location and felt very relaxed even with my father in law and 3 children in tow.

Fabulous cottage just a few steps from miles of sandy beaches.
This lovely cottage was just a few steps from miles of almost deserted sandy beach. The cottage has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard and is both clean and comfortable. It is also very well equipped and stocked with the basics kitchen and cleaning items. The owner was kind enough to leave a welcome pack for us, including treats for our dog. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful Easter Weekend
We had a wonderful time at the Fishman’s cottage which is which is beautifully and newly decorated - really stylishly decked out - and best of all is literally yards from the sea (views from most rooms). When we arrived there were treats for the dog, milk and hot cross buns. All in all a complete joy.
