Historic duplex with the best possible location in Stillwater. Monty and Terri were exemplary hosts. We loved our stay. The views were stunning. The upper unit has two balconies so you can choose the sun or not. We spent a lot of time there every day. Thank you for having us!

This is the perfect place to call home while you’re in Stillwater. Location is incredible, right in downtown and views of the river. The house itself will make you never want to leave and Terri and Monty are the best hosts 🙌🏼🙌🏼. 10/10 highly highly recommend this is the place to stay in Stillwater!

My husband and I stayed here for the month of September as we sold our home had month before we could get in our new place. It was the perfect transition for us. We were able to explore and experience Stillwater from a walking perspective. We walked to coffee/breakfast places and restaurants all month. I took a walk almost every day, whether I started up the Pioneer Park steps( right out our door) or walked across the street to Brown's Creek Trail. I loved it! My husband took it upon himself and walked the stairs everyday for exercise. The VRBO had a nice kitchen, living space, bathroom and two bedrooms to choose from. I loved the deck in the afternoons for reading or just watching boats on the river. Thanks to our hosts for such great service. We will miss downtown Stillwater!

Wonderful stay in downtown Stillwater
The Mainstreet Hideaway is a wonderful property and the owners were responsive and great to work with. No detail was overlooked in the renovation of this property and it was perfect for 2 couples. Beautiful views from every room set atop a small hill overlooking the main street. Minutes walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown.

Perfect Stillwater Location
We had a fabulous weekend with both of the duplex sides rented for a girls weekend. The house was very clean and we loved the deck with views of the river. Being located right off the main street was perfect for our activities in town, no driving necessary. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful house and very gracious hosts
We loved staying in this apartment- and since we started out in the upper unit and ended up in the lower one, I can say both are gorgeous, with high quality finishes and every detail considered. It’s a house you’d want to live in permanently! We moved from the upper unit to the lower one because the steps were too steep for my elderly parents-in-laws, and the hosts responded immediately to our request to swap units and made it happen within minutes. Walking distance to everything, and the beds were super comfortable. Loved it!

Hideaway Paradise
This was out second stay at this place. We love it!! It is a gem for sure. You can walk all of downtown Stillwater from this location, without having to worry about finding a place to park. The house was spotless and has everything you need. The upper deck was where we hung out at night. It's perfect. We'll be back next year too.

Quite the gem!
Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. We had a great time! Excellent location. Duplex was very nice with great furnishings and a well-kept lawn. Although we did not meet the host, she was quick to respond and great at checking in to make sure everything was good. We would stay here again!

Great views, great location, great space!
We live in Stillwater and needed a place to host family for a celebration we were hosting. Put my folks and my aunt up at this location and they liked it so much they had a hard time leaving it to come to the festivities. Great views, clean and beautifully furnished accommodations, and perfect location to walk to downtown restaurants. Will definitely use this location for events when we have more family in town than space in our house! Terri and minute were great hosts, too!

Girls Getaway 2019
Can't imagine a better property in Stillwater. The location was beyond our expectations! We got our exercise climbing the infamous stairs right outside the house and walked everywhere - no need to drive! The home was gorgeous - we all commented on the beautiful woodwork and floors! Terri and Monty were in contact whenever we needed them (even for recommendations on where to find a rooftop bar in town). We can't thank them enough. Hope to return soon!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Clean, beautiful, great view and easy walking access to main street. The main street is a little noisy due to traffic but that is the price one has to pay for a great location. Owner is responsive and helpful. Lovely home.

Perfect location
Very nice 2 unit, blocks from downtown Stillwater. Steep driveway that was no problem during our spring stay. Two-stall parking spot for each unit. Beautiful updated kitchen and bath, comfy beds. Detailed instructions for us on what was expected. Electronic locks on front doors made accessibility fast and easy. Owners made sure we were able to get in and check out. Would stay again if needed for a girls weekend.
