The little cottage was wonderful for the 2 of us we will be back next year

Great!!

Enjoyed grilling steaks on brand new grill overlooking the water. Multiple decks to hang out on - 1 attached to house, one a few steps down into yard with chimenea/firepit and the actual floating dock on the water (which looked new also). Has full-size kitchen and was perfect size for 2 people. It was also a short drive to Lexington which had some good antique-ing and barbecue.

Very peaceful property. Bring groceries ! No store nearby and few restaurants

Beautiful deck and view of the lake, nice and peaceful, and the house was cozy and clean and the perfect size for a couple. We enjoyed our little getaway very much!

We loved this cottage on the lake. It was really clean and nicely appointed. Great place for a couple or family of three. We also enjoyed the neighbor's cats. They practically stayed with us for the entire time. Enjoyed the trip and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

My friends and I stayed for a weekend. The place had everything we wanted: dock access to the lake, fire pit, grill, outdoor seating. It was a wonderful stay. The place was very clean and was full of kitchen supplies for cooking. We would stay again!

Lovely cottage, very well equipped. The lake is beautiful. We had a very relaxing time. We had one issue that was taken care of immediately.

Fishing was great, enjoyed the area, property is just like we remembered, although it is showing some wear & tear, I didn’t ding the rating but the grill was even worst then I remembered, brought a lot of food to grill but the wife suggested I leave it alone!

I like to go over everything simply because those are the reviews I like to read. You may be a little out off by the surrounding area, but keep going! The neighbors have kitties that are friendly so keep in mind if you are allergic. The neighbors on the other side have an unfriendly dog and fought a couple times throughout our week stay. For the house itself, it feels much bigger than it is! The walls and baseboards are pretty dirty and a good deep clean would be good. Some of the dishes and appliances were still dirty from previous use. The cove on the lake is very quiet and was not much boat traffic at all. This trip was just my husband and I, but two small kids or even two more adults would fit just fine. Would consider staying again!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here! They had plenty of things available for use it was very well stocked. Our daughter cried when we were leaving she had so much fun !

We had an amazing time. This is where we stayed 5 years ago for our honeymoon. Was great then and the upgrades were great as well. Candace is amazing to work with. The house is perfect for a couple. We fished all weekend. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back.

This cottage was right on the lake and very peaceful. The neighbors were friendly. It was a few minute drive to places to grab a bite to eat or go to the store. And Candace was a great host, communicated well with me, and answered any questions I had.

At first glance the place looked nice. As we where there for only two nights for an emergency stay in the area, we did not use the outside at all. As a forced choice to rent, a very large deposit (not guaranteed to be returned) OR a damages fee was required. We paid the required damages fee...however, there where damages already present at check-in; broken blind, dents and marks on several walls. Additionally, the place was superficially clean. Inside, food crumbs where left on the dining table and counters appeared to be only quickly wiped. There where damp towels left in the dryer. There was not enough toilet paper for even 1 day, and yes, we checked and found no extras. Food was left in the frig. Trash was left in kitchen can (which is the renters job to dispose of when you leave) The coffee machine had a used container in it. Bedding was clean (you are responsible to make the bed)

This is a clean simply place on the lake. Nothing fancy but clean, well managed, and nice.

First positive impression was the communication from CS… Check in was at 3pm and CS communicated we could have checked in early (that was a nice option) Upon arrival to the property setting trailer homes, My partner and I thought “oh no” but stepping inside and giving the place a thorough inspection she said oh I want to come back. Not your topical lake property bc it looks lived in (meaning it has all we needed.. appliances, utensils, condiments, you name it) even some Bush beer in the fridge (we don’t drink beer so we left it for the next guests). Gas grill, fire pit, porch and a sun bathe dock all was put to good use. Meet a few boaters who waved and said hello. That was the only thing missing from the weekend was boat or jet ski access. There is even a drive in theater near by that we visited. Oh, and there was WiFi and cable TV so we had something to watch late night. Mosquitoes early morning and evening really cut into our plans. So bring as much repellent as you can because you WILL NEED IT. Very nice experience and we plan to come back later in 2021.

An OK place but clearly in need of some maintenance and improved amenities. Location is quiet, on an inlet of the main lake, so that is a plus. The dock is in quite a state of disrepair, the grill is completely rusted through at the bottom, and there are no lounge chairs, floats, noodles etc to enjoy a time by/in the water.

We had a great time Fishing out on the Lake and on the private dock. The Home was clean and had everything one would need to make your stay more pleasant. We both love fishing so it was the perfect house on the lake. We launch the boat about 1/3 from the house and left it at the dock right in front of the house. It was so easy to just grab our gear and voila catching fish within seconds. Great fishing trip the house is very accommodating, it has everything you can ever need except for your food! So relaxing we will definitely be back!

This is the second time we stayed at this place and we love it. My husband is taken with the fishing and my girls love the swimming. I love the peacefulness of it all. The owner is amazing with the accommodation and helpfulness. We will be back.
