We spent two months travelling in Asia, and this was definitely one of our best places. It was very clean, the view from the room was amazing, the breakfast was good and the staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant and pool were placed on a roof top with an amazing view. The food was some of the best food we had on our entire travel! The reception was open 24/7 and was guarded by night, which always made us feel safe (though all of Nepal felt safe).

It was a bit decentral, but we knew that when we booked it and wanted a break a little bit outside of the city center :) It was easy to take a taxi into town.

The restaurant was amazing with delicious food and very courteous staff. Rooms, although small, were clean and tidy. Well maintained bathrooms and comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful in all aspects of our travel.

Noise! Construction noise was from 6 am till 10pm. The hotel is expanding so they are constantly building and making noise, even after various complaints, it did not stop. Lucky for us we only booked two nights and did not have to endure this much longer. The rooms are smaller that depicted in the photos, beware of that! Actually, after looking at photos and the actual room, we were very disappointed.

Perfect service. We've received an upgrade for free to fantastic rooms. The terrace on the roof, with swimming pool, was brilliant with a beautiful view on Kathmandu and the mountains.

We were not able to find the right (smaller) restaurants around the hotel, but the restaurant in the hotel was very good.

Extremely nice staff, always helpful but never too much. Coffee, tea and water in the room is a nice gesture. The room is spacious, clean. The rooftop is a nice place to spend the afternoon next to the pool and the sauna.

This is my 4th stay at Hotel Sabrina, I came last year to stay by myself here, and I never ever booked another hotel in Kathmandu. This year round I stayed for 4 weeks , I bought my brother and my best friend from London, and they also fell in love with the place! From the hotel owner Ni Rajan Sir, and hotel management staff Udip sir, to the room cleaners to the reception and restaurant staff, the service was impeccable! Milan dai, Santosh Bhai, and each and everyone of the staff, made my stay extra special! I plead anyone to find a better hotel than Hotel Sabrina, the views, the food, the rooms, and especially the staff were first class! I cannot wait to come back here, and bring more of my friends and family from London to this amazing one of a kind hotel, this was honestly my home away from home, thanks so much again everyone for the exceptional memorable stay! The staff were out favourite part of our stay, they were all so kind and caring, so happy to help! such lovely people !

The pool was lovely and refreshing for a morning swim. We eat food in the evening in the rooftop restaurant and it was absolutely delicious, could not fault one bit, and the service was impeccable!!

Disclaimer: If you would like to roam around the Thamel or Durbar Square then just make sure through Pathao it will cost you around 600 Nepali Rupees and at night time around 800 Nepali Rupees. However, if you take into consideration of the above statement then this place is one of the most peaceful places you can ever live. The mountain view from your balcony is a sight to marvel at. I just loved this place.

Not the fault of the hotel at all but the distance from the main attractions of Kathmandu is the only issue. Other than that all is good.

Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Comfortable rooms. Food in the restaurant and room service was very good. Complimentary breakfast had a good choice. Located in the suburbs with a nice Mountain View, if you’re looking for a nice location out of main city chaos. Nice infinity pool but unfortunately couldn’t use it since it was raining.

Pictures on the booking app may not be exactly how it looks in person. Refer to the room size instead of more accurate info. Additional note if you’re looking for shopping etc., then perhaps not the best location as it is not in the city center or walking distance to any activities like that.
