Secluded, quaint upstairs unit. Plenty of shops and walking trails in area. Businesses do close early though. Bed was somewhat too firm but ample linens/comforters. Bathroom is tiny. There is no large clawfoot tub out back but large table /chairs in secluded area was fun happy hour spot.

This was my first stay at the apartment (previously we had additional guests and stayed at the house on the property) and EVERYTHING was as meticulously considered, cleaned and detailed to ensure the owner's guests felt right at home. And while the location is perfectly situated to walking into downtown Larkspur - it is soo comfortable and inviting - you won't want to leave the comfort of the accommodations or the beauty of the grounds!

Charming little studio in close proximity to restaurants and boutiques. It was immaculately clean, well stalked and comfortable. I loved that the tv could be turned around to face either the living room or bedroom. Will definitely stay here again with my husband. Perfect for couples.

We were only there one night for a seminar in San Anselmo. The studio apartment was clean and pleasant and walking distance to to town and restaurants. We were very comfortable.

A beautiful and comforting stay in Larkspur. The house is wonderfully charming and artistically put together with a lovely porch for morning coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon.

We had the most pleasant stay at the house. The front garden was gorgeous and comfortable. Allison was an incredibly kind and responsive host. The decor of the home and the stocked kitchen were an extra treat! Highly recommend. :)

This was just the experience I was hoping for. The property is right next to the main stretch of a lovely little town with lots of restaurants and a surprising number of unique clothing stores. Allison was so responsive when I locked myself out at 6:30 am. The garden was beautiful with full pear and apple trees. It was quiet and peaceful.

My husband and I were looking to escape our summer San Francisco's fog and found this oasis, a touch of Provence, France, in Larkspur.
We stayed in a little Victorian house, beautifully decorated, among olive, apple and pear trees.
This location offers quiet tranquility and is 3 minutes away by foot from the town of Larkspur.
The owner, Allison is absolutely charming, warm and very helpful. We highly recommend her place and hope to be back. I & R.

Small apartment on lovely property perfect for my daughter and I to attend several wedding events in different Marin locations. Walking to coffee shop and other east walks. Easy parking.

This property was amazing! Gorgeous and charming and walking distance from everything. This was a perfect Marin getaway. My only feedback is that I didn’t figure out there was a comforter under the day bed until we were leaving the next morning. Perhaps including this in check-in information would be nice :)

We wanted a comfortable and quiet place to stay for our honeymoon and it was all that and more. The space was very private, and was equipped with many thoughtful amenities. I wish we had more time to use the full kitchen! The unit is perfectly located to access all of downtown larkspur, and was a great central location as we took day trips around the bay. Thank you for the lovey stay!

A few suggestions would be. Add a microwave and water dispenser or Brita filter for drinking water. Also more mirrors, two ladies attempting to get ready was challenging. Also the lifting in floor in front of refrigerator is a tripping hazard that we experienced a few times. Thank you for a great stay.

Our group of three had a very comfortable stay in this apartment! It was clean, bright, and comfortable! The beds were comfortable, the towels soft and fluffy, and there were two plush robes in the closet. The host left snacks and beverages in the refrigerator and fresh flowers on the counter.
The location was great! The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood and we walked around the corner to the little downtown where we had coffee and pastries.

Our second stay in Larkspur on the property and it continues to exceed our expectations! The apartment is thoughtfully procured with everything you need yet still manages to be comfortable and stylish! The grounds and gardens are lush and vibrant - easy to spend an afternoon with a book and a glass of wine! AND - as if that wasn't enough - the LOCATION is AMAZING! So easy and convenient to EVERYTHING, not to mention a quick walk to downtown!

Awesome Getaway
The property was just as described, nicely located near a quaint area of shopping and eateries (even a little theater, enjoyed a movie) yet completely secluded with privacy. It was a nice place to return to after a day in San Francisco. We accidently got locked out on first day (our fault - didn't grab the keys on way to yard for relaxing) and the owner responded immediately even though she was on vacation herself. Highly recommend both the town area and property.

Cozy and bright gem in the heart of Larkspur
We loved our visit to this property. The space was bright, comfortable and filled with everything we needed (plus some) for a great stay. Wonderful apartment in a great neighborhood. We loved our week at Allison’s. The apartment is quiet, private, and comfortable. Allison’s design sense, attention to detail, and communication were so exceptional, we concluded she should write a “how-to” guide for hosting a vacation rental. As far as the location goes, plenty of on-street parking and an easy drive to San Francisco and surrounding areas made it a great home base for day trips. Many great restaurants and shops were within a couple of blocks. A clean, modern laundromat a block over made laundry convenient, and during the wash cycle, we enjoyed the local frozen yogurt from the shop next to the laundromat. We’re looking forward to our next stay at Allison’s!
