The staff are so friendly and the breakfast is great with a lot of choices , also the location and the weather were great .

the wifi little bit weak

Staff are all fabulous from the moment we checked in until we left. Grounds of hotel are beautiful surrounded by tea plantations. Breakfast was superb. Room was very comfortable and so quiet at night. WiFi was excellent!

I wouldn’t come back unfortunately.Nice chill out area if you were travelling with a group tour this hotel would be perfect as it’s a pit stop but overall I didn’t enjoy the vibe.Wifi was strong to work from & the shower was good. The piano was playing and loads kids just running up and down the halls for hours it wasn’t a very zen spot and the views were poor from our room too.Loads of stairs to carry your bags up and down too & no lift. It’s a one night MAX stopover hub but even at that I just wouldn’t be able to recommend.

Too many staff I found that annoying at least 4 separate guys at check in to just handle our passport was overkill. The property is very tired.Our bathroom had a waste issue problem & the smell was strong. Told reception and they did say they would sort it but we’re surprised either so I reckon it’s a reoccurring problem! The Dinner menu was poor in my opinion as not everyone wants an overpriced buffet.

The setting and staff could not be faulted. Only suggestion is that the staff should have name tags to personalise their wonderful service.

During my booking I asked for a higher floor good mountain view room. I think I checked around 4 pm and I was allotted a room. When I went to the room I immediately pointed to the reception lady that this room is not what I requested for. The lady informed me that they are completely sold and all rooms are occupied and this is the only room left. She tell me that they have upgraded my room and I refused to stay in that room. She said she can't do any thing as this is the only one left. It was the bottom most room and please refer to the 2 photos I have enclosed where in you will be able to understand the views. After 2-3 hrs of my checking new multiple guests checked in, in-front of me and they were given rooms for which I requested for. I immediately questioned the reception lady and she kept silent. I pointed this to the Man in charge in the reception but he only smiled. I feel and I am sure tat because I am an Indian and not white skin, this was done with me. Rest things and the other staffs were good.

Rooms good and spacious, nice shower, and on request a free heater.

Far more amateuristic than our previous stay 7 years back. No working WiFi in the rooms at 3rd floor forced us to use the phones on the corridor and the laptop in the restaurant, and that is not holidaying but suffering. Another major issue is the stairs from 1st to 2nd floor - due to the typical old building setup, one of the stairs is 3-4 cm higher than the rest making me to fall twice and hurt my knee. A clear warning notice on the wall is the least they can do. Breakfast and dinner good in setup but lousy in execution; dishes brought in 5-10 mins later than for the rest of the party, half cold, in wrong sequence etc. No amount of good hospitality, and they do their utmost swarming you with offers to help, can compensate this. Send good maintenance staff for e.g. the WiFi design and re-train restaurant staff!

Great Hotel with an amazing view! A place were you can take a break and calm down. Rooms and food are very good and the staff does everything to make you feel welcomed. Would stay here again.!

Bit far from the City

No heating/cooling in the room. Heater is available at the reception on request.

The Hotel is housed in a newly constructed 3 story purpose build building. To reach the hotel you have to drive on a road through Galway Forest. On reaching the hotel the hotel offered me welcome complimentary Pumpkin soup with some snack. There is no lift in the hotel but I requested for a high floor to enjoy the beautiful view from my room window. I opted for a room having windows on both sides. On one side view there was tea plantation on the other side there was mountain view. The room itself was very spacious with very nice bath room. The hotel lobby is nice and there is a billiard room on 1st floor. Before dinner the hotel offered us complimentary Papaya Juice in the hotel garden. I booked the hotel half board. The dinner offered was so delicious that I can call it the best food which I ate in Sri Lanka. It was severed in the most professional manner in different courses, having some starter, soup, salad, main course and fruit/sweet dish. Beds were very comfortable. Morning breakfast was also very good. The hotel garden is very beautiful we took many good photographs as our memory. I can safely recommend the hotel to all. Last but not the least, the hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. they guided me about the place very well.

Great stay for two nights. Staff were very attentive and food were great with plenty of choice! Lovely clean hotel. Really enjoyed our stay.

The room was very spacious and clean with lots of plug sockets needed. The breakfast and food at the restaurant downstairs was really good. The look of the hotel from the outside is nice and well maintained.

The hallways need upgraded and the service was a little slow, however the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was no AC but they provided us with a fan.
