The process of renting and paying was very smooth. The condo was clean but the kitchen cabinets are very dirty. I tried to wipe them to no avail. They need replacement. I was extremely surprised to find no oven. Nowhere in the listing does it specify that there isn’t one. With a three bedroom condo, you come with a big group. You need an oven. The countertop air fryer/toaster oven is insufficient. The kitchen was well stocked though with dishes, cutlery etc. The only bathroom with a bathtub is riddled with mould under the caulking. Definitely needs some TLC. The fridge also needs some maintenance as at least every other day I had to drain it and wipe the water from the shelves. To be fair I never called anyone about this as I didn’t want to spend any time dealing with a maintenance person, or removing all our food from the fridge. There were a lot of amenities to this cabin..strollers, baby cribs, beach towels etc but since none of these things were in the profile we brought our own. Knowing they were available would have made a huge difference to the amount of stuff we brought. It is a great spacious condo with a beautiful view. I think it just need some TLC and some tweaking to the profile.

We walk in the beach around 4:00 am (because of the change of time we could not sleep after 4:00am) and we got a marvelous pictures with the view of the moom and the reflection in the ocean. When dealing with this the man I spoke to was Very rude & insistent I was wrong. I was so upset, gathered myself & information & called back. He then called me back apologizing for their mistake but then insisted our Family move to a different condo for our last night. We were all settled in after 10 nights of already being there - we had my niece & my sister was pregnant, we really did not want to move for 1 night- he kept insisting we needed to move. The most disappointing thing about him being so rude & stern about us moving for 1 night was my parents had to cancel 2 weeks at this property 1 week at this condo & 1 week at another condo because their son / my brother passed away before our trip- my parents had to loose that money - the property gained that thousands of dollars & they were able to rent it so they profited quite a bit from our loss & cancellation. It was disappointing he would not work with us after giving them all that money. My Dad who was at home grieving & making after life arrangements had to call & deal with the reservation management. We did not move our last night which we were all thankful for considering we had my niece & sister leaving for the airport at 9pm that night. It was sad that they did not want to listen to our reasoning- it was just easier to make us move for 1 night than have to tell the new family coming in.

The building is the closest to the road and also closest to the water. The lanai has a lovely view as the unit is on the 4th floor. The unit has two bedrooms on the main floor - one queen bed and the other two twin beds. The third bedroom is the loft with another queen bed. Three bathrooms are nice to have! The kitchen is well supplied with good quality knives! A rarity in rentals! The complex is quite big and only has one pool. But there are two hot tubs and a small children's pool. The street noise was a little disappointing but Kamaole III is a nice beach park directly in front of the complex. It is popular and a little crowded but has lovely grounds and good bathrooms and showers. Overall a good condo for our family.

Loved our stay here!! Short walk to the beach. The condo was clean and well stocked with boogie boards, snorkeling gear and a wagon to take all of our stuff to the beach! Pretty garden view from the lanai.

The toilet in the loft bathroom has ZERO flush power, so expect to flush at least three times to clear the bowl, regardless of content (#1, #2 or both). The tile grout was gross - filled with mildew, and the plastic tub insert was covered in filth, with hair still remaining in the drain from whoever stayed previous to us. Speaking of the shower drain, it is VERY SLOW to drain, so when you shower you’re standing in a pool of ankle-high water. We called to have it cleaned, and we’re told someone would come the following day to do so, but that never happened, so we did the best we could to clean it ourselves. As an added bonus, there was a large booger on the wall in the downstairs-beach facing bedroom next to the dresser mirror. To sum it up, the location is great, but the condo owners or property managers definitely do not spend any money on upkeep of this condo, and the cleanliness is very bad. Condo 10-417 is

Had a great stay. Didn't like that there was no AC in the upstairs room. The room was miserably hot

Unit is in building 10, with amazing views of ocean and grounds. Condo is a bit worn, dirty carpet, pull out couch broken, lots of wear and tear on walls/bathrooms. upstairs window slats fell out when attempting to open. But unit is large and fits a family well, great property-Kamaole Sands!

The location and view were great. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The house itself was not very clean and is dated. The cabinets were sticky and there were dirty Kleenex in drawers. Also as others said there were two small air conditioning units in the living room and master bedroom but not the loft or 2nd bedroom. The loft was unusable and the 2nd bedroom difficult to sleep in due to the heat. If you only need one room and the pull out couch it is fine. If you have more people definitely choose a different unit on this property!

Only the master bedroom and living room have air conditioning. So when we were there in the summer the loft was over 90F. The front bedroom was almost as hot. That left sleeping in the master and living room fold out sofa. It possibly sleeps 8 in winter but maxes out at 4 in summer.

My husband and our parents stayed here in May 2018 and had a great experience. The condo was clean and we stayed cool using the air conditioners and fans provided. This condo is well stocked with beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai and master bedroom. Both the beach and pool were a short walk. This unit is on the very end on the top floor so we had no issues with noise or privacy. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great experience!

When we got there we found out that the apt promised to us is not the apt given to us. We were moved to a different address altogether. we had a family vacation planned and it was so bad since we were in different address from our family that we're going to make sure that we let all our of family / friends / church members to never use your services again. it started off by us getting there and we couldn't wait to start our family vacation, but upon checking in we find out that we're not at the location we had booked. the person on the phone didn't give us an explanation but was told that we were rebooked. imagine our surprise it was at a different address compared to the location the second half of our family was at. things only got worse from that time on. we had 2 kids and 2 pregnant ladies with us. the apartment given to us had no elevators and no key pads and it was on the 3rd floor. so everytime a key demagnatizes we had to go to the office which felt like 1/4 mile away and get another key. imagine if your family shows up to vacation and is expecting a beautifull three bedroom apt, but is told sorry we've moved you. Now you are not at the same place as your family. Also enjoy walking up and down with 2 kids (one under three) and two pregnant ladies, and yes THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS. We stayed in this condo for 10 days in February 2016 with our 4 children and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The view was unbeatable and the location was perfection. We have stayed in this complex and in this building before but this was the first time in this unit. Yes, it is hot in the loft but that should be expected when you consider that you are at the top floor of a building. However, we opened up the louvered windows above the bed and turned on the fan which made it a more pleasant experience. With 3 beds and 3 baths, it was ideal for our family of 2 boys and 2 girls (3 teenagers and a pre-teen). We experienced a drain clog in the upstairs shower one our second day and it was addressed immediately for which we were grateful. Service like that goes a long way with me! One of the 2 complaints that I have is that the beach equipment provided was rusty, dented or torn and while I understand that the salt water has an effect on these items, it would have been nice to see some of them replaced. We ended up renting boogie boards, snorkel equipment and an umbrella (which wasn't cheap!) and borrowed working beach chairs from another unit nearby (nice owners of another condo whom we met by the pool took pity on us). The other complaint is that there were no instructions on how to use the microwave/oven so if we couldn't barbecue or cook it on the stove top, we couldn't eat it. We would absolutely consider staying in this unit again should we travel as a large family again ... provided our complaints were addressed, of course! Even considering this unit for our vacation next spring with my senior parents!

The condo has a very nice view of the ocean and close to beach but if you sit on the balcony the exhaust from the AC unit hits you. The living room was much smaller than expected and the loft was extremely hot. I read about the complaints regarding the unit being really hot but did not believe it. After being there for a few days we were sorry we booked the place. The master bedroom bathroom has a very small, tiny AC which made it very uncomfortable for everyone and has no bathtub. The furniture and kitchen was stocked as described. The hottest room is the loft and it is a real shame that they have not listened to the multiple complaints regarding the heat. I have rented many other units and this is the worst and not worth the money they charged.
