El Cliffside Inn Guest House es la unidad del primer piso (planta baja) de esta impresionante casa.
La casa de huéspedes se completa con cocina completa, electrodomésticos, aire acondicionado central y mucho más. Nuestro parque privado frente al río está al otro lado del río Rd. Los huéspedes disfrutan de acceso privilegiado al río Guadalupe "Chute". Un lugar perfecto para jugar con la familia o sentarse y ver los tubérculos flotar río abajo. El parque cuenta con pozo de fuego y terraza privada.

Almacenamos la propiedad con todos los utensilios básicos de cocina (platos, cristalería, cubiertos, ollas y sartenes). La tarifa de limpieza cubre el costo de la limpieza, y voltea la unidad para la próxima llegada, especialmente durante el verano cuando tenemos un tiempo de rotación de cuatro horas. Si bien el costo puede parecer alto para algunos, esto incluye el paquete inicial de suministros en la unidad, lavar toda la ropa de cama y toallas, y limpiar y desinfectar completamente la unidad para la próxima llegada de invitados. Es por eso que le pedimos amablemente que retire toda la basura, ponga en funcionamiento el lavavajillas y simplemente ponga la ropa de cama y las toallas en una pila. Si estos elementos no se completan, el equipo de limpieza pasará más tiempo haciendo estas tareas, por lo que tenemos que cobrarle al huésped. Cuando los invitados completan estas tareas, y no dejan la unidad excesivamente sucia, podemos obtener la limpieza de entrada y salida durante las cuatro horas de rotación, ¡y así es como podemos acomodar los registros tempranos! Overall the house was nice. The mattresses could be a bit thicker and we ended up the with best upstairs guests. They fit in right with our family.

Everything looked great, clean, spacious, other than that guest house is under the main house so you can hear al the stomping and chair and couches moving and dragging all above you so is not the relaxing house you're looking forth.

I knew when booking that this was just the lower level, but I assumed that it would be fine, it wasn't. Although the management was very polite and accommodating, even let us check in a little early since the unit was already cleaned, we could not get over all the "little" things that eventually added up to a lot. The walls really are ridiculously thin, and the upstairs neighbors were SO loud. We heard everything, the walking, the running, the music, everything! They were not bad neighbors mind you, it was a large group, with lots of kids, it's just that the walls are SO thin, it really could not be helped. In my opinion, this set-up is not ideal for multi families, but more for a college group of single adults or maybe a reunion where everyone knows each other and is one big happy family. We wanted to call a manager a few times but were unable to... due to the fact that there is no cell reception. We will not be returning, but I do have a few recommendations for the owners/managers:
1. throw away stained dishes, even though they are clean, they look dirty to renters.
2. consider adding a baking sheet in the kitchen, and maybe replace the broken wine opener.
3. consider adding a curtain or some blinds over both the front door and back door as they are wide open and visible to upstairs guests. One of them even waived at me as I laid in my bed because they were coming down the stairs. We ended up using a sheet to cover the front door.
4. Cleaning the walls, there are a few spots where it appears that a bug was killed/squashed but it wasn't cleaned up. It just makes the place look run down and unkept.
5. Replace the old torn up/ripped blanket in the armoire, it just makes the place feel "cheap"
6. Wash or replace the futon covers, they are badly stained.
7. The master shower has lots of mold and mildew, it needs some cleaning up.
8. consider adding a landline since cell reception is non-existent in the house. We were able to wander aimlessly outside and "catch" a signal a few times, but in case of an emergency, we would've had to jump in the car and drive somewhere to get a reception, which is not ideal when you are not familiar with the area and don't know where the ER is located.
9. I would recommend cancelling your wifi, it absolutely never worked and it doesn't much make sense to pay for it if no one can utilize it, but it's your money...
10. please consider replacing those mattresses, they are very old and extremely uncomfortable.

Great location in a more quiet part of River Road, and a great part of the river was just across the street. The house was clean and comfy. Parking a little tight, but we were able to make it work. We did have some issues with the AC, but it was quickly addressed with little to no interruption to our trip. We would definitely love to go back!

Did not realize that we were renting the bottom floor of a 2 story home—that was not clear in the description. The location was great. The beds, though plenty, were horrible. The futons were more comfortable than the beds. Two of the beds caused us to roll to the middle—I slept on top of the pillows to prevent this. The mattresses are wrapped in a noisy plastic waking you and everyone else whenever turning in bed. There must be no insulation between the upstairs and downstairs because it sounded like our neighbors above us were jumping on our heads at 6:30 every morning. They woke us 4:30am one morning—maybe they fell out of bed. The home was clean with adequate utensils, linen, and storage. It needs to be clearly stated in the description that this is a shared home with other people.

We loved the Guest house. Great access to the river just across the street. This newly remodled story was perfect for our family. We never felt over crowded. There were plenty of extra towels, which were needed after many trips to the river. The kitchen was stocked with every dish and utensil we needed. We will definitely be using this place more often.

Great property!
Beautiful property! Nice amenities, plenty of room, big bathrooms, great outside area, and easy access to the river. Parking is a little tight, but they will work with you!

Great Location!
We loved the Guest house. Great access to the river just across the street. This newly remodled story was perfect for our family. We never felt over crowded. There were plenty of extra towels, which were needed after many trips to the river. The kitchen was stocked with every dish and utensil we needed. We will definitely be using this place more often.
