El condominio está ubicado en el tercer piso de una sección recientemente renovada del edificio, que forma parte de la comunidad completamente cerrada frente al mar, 'The Dawn Galveston Beach Condominiums'. Great location - right across the street from the beach! The condo was very nice and clean. The hostess was very responsive to my questions. The price was comparable to the hotels on the beach, but much nicer & roomier. We highly recommend this property and we hope to have the opportunity to stay again (but longer next time).

Location was great, check in was great, view of the ocean was great. Not going to repeat comments from the good reviews - we did enjoy our stay. Owner was also very responsive.
However, a few things detracted from the experience.
1. The place was really humid so they had a portable dehumidifier at the place. It filled with water every 6 hours and had to be poured out. The machine was moldy and it woke us up each night in the middle of the night when it stopped running because it was full. Also, if it stopped running while we were away, the place was really humid when we got back.
2. The sheets were clean on the loft bed, but there were stains on them. No way around it… that’s not great.
3. The place was dated. The owner did a good job updating it with some nice art and some great decorations, but the place just felt a little tired. For example, there was a soft spot on the floor, the chairs were peeling, and the floor was coming apart in spots.
A quick note that there was no bath tub too.
It really wasn’t a bad place but I thought these were worth noting.

This was a birthday getaway for my oldest granddaughter and youngest daughter, hosted by my wife.
The apartment was amazing, with a fantastic location right on the beach.
There was a hitch in check-in that was my fault, but other than that, it was great.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay. The unit was nicely decorated and we had a great view of the ocean from our room. Check in was a breeze for both communicating with the owner and also the property manager. Some general improvements are needed at the condo complex as a whole (paint, TLC) and the specific unit we rented as well. The top dishwasher rack was broke and the top of the microwave is melted. But for what my family and I needed, this worked out very well.

We had a great time staying here, the Condo was clean and as pictured, good communication with the owner, and a great spot on the beach. The pool and hottub were nice also, We will be booking the place again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very responsive. The community was beautiful and the condo was perfect for what we needed! There were 3 adults and 3 kids and it was plenty of room. Two of our kiddos slept on the comfy sofa sleeper and everyone loved the spiral staircase in the condo! The view was amazing from the patio, especially in the morning! The pools on the property were so fun and very well maintained, and we met some really nice neighbors! Definitely would stay again!

Condo smelled musty but had dehumidifier which we had to empty twice daily. Didn’t really use the kitchen. Balcony chairs were very rusted but night to have the ocean view. Overall quiet and great pools, beaches were not crowded at all and a simple walk across the road to access. Will definitely be going back but might look at renting a different unit.

I love sitting on the deck hearing and seeing the ocean waves. The netting was an obstruction to my view.

Prior to checking in, I was told the property would be clean and ready to go by 2pm. Me and my friends arrived shortly after that time and the key code to our condo was never reset. We attempted to contact the property manager multiple times, and she never got back to us. The house keeper was then called, & she confirmed she was offsite and was not able to help us get in. We then went to front desk asking what to do, & after about an hour of them not being able to get in touch with the property manager as well; they finally just gave us the master key. When we walked in, it was clear to see the bedding was not clean, as well as many of the towels. Many had multiple strands of hair in them. As If checking in wasn’t frustrating enough, then having to do multiple loads of laundry the second we arrived, was not exactly how we dreamt of starting out our vacation after a very long morning of traveling. As beautiful as the condo is, and we will say the beds were comfy.. we were very disappointed in the customer service as the property manager didn’t care to contact us after notifying her that we were having troubles getting in.

Very nice condo. Little chaotic with check im process because you checkin with one person then have to text someone else for code to get in. Had issue locking the co do every time we left. I had to text for instructions because its electronic. But overall the place was very nice. Beds we comfortable.

This place was amazing! Watching the waves roll in every morning, and the ability to watch both sunrises and sunsets from the living room windows made the stay magical. Centrally located to anything and everything you'd want to do on vacation, plus ease of entry and parking, I would definitely book this place again. Two things to note: There are two flights of stairs and no elevator. Not complaining! It just wouldn't work for someone with mobility issues. Also, the photo showed a bathtub and it has been remodeled to include only a shower, so if you're looking forward to vacation bathing, this wouldn't be the place. Otherwise, it's exactly as shown and I would highly recommend it!

This condo was very nice. The owner has provided sheets, towels, etc. with everything nicely labeled and easy to find. It is also very clean! However, the overall condominium property is inconvenient. Parking is not close to the unit and the property charges $35 tax to park overnight. The unit is also on the third floor and no elevators. Other than these inconveniences it is a nice place to stay for a family with kids.

Fantastic Stay!
Fantastic stay with a very responsive owner. We visited on a Friday before our cruise with our kiddos and everything worked out perfectly. Location is in a prime spot along the beach and the condo was very cute and clean.

Perfect Short Trip
My sister and I stayed for three nights and this condo was perfect. Very convenient to the strand and restaurants. The owner gave us list of places to see and restaurants to eat at. We’re from Houston so we’re very familiar with Galveston but the condo made it a special experience. Clean, excellent decor and well stocked with kitchen items and towels! We give it two thumbs up!

April Weekend Get Away
The condo was lovely and as expected.
I noticed linnens and towels were clearly marked in the closet.
There was also a pack-n-play and beach chairs for those that need them.
The traffic noise did bother us, as we are not used to it. We are thinking in the summer when there is more traffic that moves slower, it would not be as bad.
