We really appreciated our stay in this house, very well equiped and with a good position on the island. Less than 10 min from thé northshore and less than one hour from Honolulu.

I can’t begin to explain how incredible this place was. We stayed in Waikiki first and this place was such a perfect change of scenery from that. Annegret goes above and beyond as a host - the space was spotless and has everything you need. The grounds are gorgeous and Cassie who lives on site was so helpful and gracious. Pupukea’s mountain breeze kept us cool and comfortable at night and the neighborhood is beautiful. The place made our trip perfect. Mahalo Annegret!!

We had a great stay in this lovely place. Spacious unit with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and nice porch. Very clean and well equipped. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect for what we needed and where we wanted to be!!

My family of surfers loved staying here. Though a bit removed from the ocean, it was very relaxing driving home through the lush neighborhoods. More spacious than anywhere else we’ve stayed on the North shore, hosts super responsive and brought us fresh bananas, papaya and avocado from the property. We will be back!

We love staying on North Shore, away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. This property was perfect for our needs. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We love getting up early in the morning and going for walks. If you don’t mind not being right on the beach it’s a great location. Anne was accommodating and very helpful.

Home was spacious and decent for the most part. Location of home was up a windy dangerous road and felt quite far from the beaches and town. We were not warned about the over-flux of pecking roosters at 4-5 o’clock in the morning - so this most certainly made our mornings uncomfortable. If you decide to stay here, bring earplugs. Oh, and bring bug spray too. Lots of questionable creepy crawlers. Communication with host was lack luster, unwelcoming and belittling. Did not feel the aloha spirit in this home or from this host. Would not book again.

Great property. Our family of 6 stayed here and found it perfect for our vacation. Very clean and updated. We ate fruit right off the trees in the backyard. The location was great for access to all activities on the North Shore. The owner was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our week at the apartment. A lot of space to relax. Easy drive to the beach but we were away from the traffic. Grocery near by. Hosts were nice.

We very much enjoyed this location, five minutes from the beach and hiking trails, yet far removed from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and Waikiki. Great place!

We had a great stay. Annegret and her husband were great hosts and we enjoyed getting to know them and staying in their wonderful apartment. Communication was great and the place was very relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location in the upcountry of Pupukea. So very clean. One annoying issue was the outside overhead light which kept coming on and off outside the bedroom window facing the driveway. Maybe a bat, owl, or gecko kept activoting the motion sensor.

Great location and if anything the photos don’t do it justice.Always a great place to return to because it was spacious, comfortable , private and easy to relax. Excellent amenities. Brilliant beaches with snorkelling were minutes away, as well as a variety of food options. Our hosts were welcoming and generous and it was lovely to taste the local fruits courtesy of their garden. We would definitely recommend the hosts and their home and would certainly return again.

Had a very nice stay at this property. Our family stayed for 5 nights. The property was clean, spacious, and had a most of the essentials that is needed. The owner was so communicative and friendly and brought us a bunch of bananas that we devoured. The location was also really convenient and was closed to major attractions in the north shore. Would recommend staying at this place.

Lovely, spacious and very comfortable, this property was ideal for our trip to Oahu. Beaches and amenities close, but not too close. The only hitch in our stay were the dogs next door. Very vocal, even in the middle of the night. However, this would not keep us from staying here again.

Annegret was a very welcoming and communicative host. The home is quite large, very clean, and was in a great location- super close to the town and Waimea bay. Would highly recommend for families or friends on vacation together!

Very comfortable and clean accommodations. The location is perfect and close proximity to less visited beaches, the Toa Luau (which we highly recommend), hiking, surfers, the local grocery store and restaurants. We would definitely rent this VRBO again. Owners are very nice and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice, quiet hideaway away from busy Waikiki.

We loved the calm of this location. The back lanai was a favorite spot of mine to watch the rain. Easy drive to Foodland for groceries and access to my he beach. Spent each day either at Waimea Bay or Pupukea Beach. I enjoyed cooking with their nice gas stove. My boys played catch in the backyard’s huge field. Easy drive to Ted’s Bakery too for peanut butter chocolate or haupia chocolate pies 😋. Anne was very informative during our preparations getting their and upon our arrival. Thanks too to her helpful high school sons for ensuring the place was nicely arranged and clean for our stay.

Such a great locatio! Not beachfront. Experience the tropical country beauty of old Hawaii. Enjoy the North Shore beaches close by and return to serenity of this very clean, comfortable rental. Plenty of towels and laundry facilities a few steps away in carport. Bring detergent and quarters for drying. Lovely neighbor Marcus stopped by with gift of beautiful gardenias for our table. Everything nearby. GREAT food trucks, Foodland market, Ted's bakery and about 30 minutes to Halewia with Waimea Bay and Falls in between. Annegret and husband attentive and available. Highly recommend.

Great location for our kama'aina family to meet up! First impression was a very clean! Kitchen was fully loaded, and perfect for feeding family there to save $$. Had a slight issue with linens, laundry, other minor items that are usually available in vacation rentals. There was no blow dryer, which I requested and never received. There was just enough pillows which is hard when you like an extra pillow between your knees. Advertised washer and dryer, however the dryer needed coins to run. That wasn't much of an issue, however there's no laundry soap provided. That was kind of strange. The owner directed us to the few beach equipment in the laundry room. The snorkeling equipment didn't look like it had been cleaned. They Only provided two teeny beach chairs, which I couldn't use, and the two funky boogie boards had no leashes and were the cheapest quality. I bought my own Clorox and soaked the whole lot of masks and snorkels. They ended up very used with foggy glass and leaked. Would've been nice to have a beach umbrella. There was another separate closet with nicer beach chairs, as well as other boogie boards, but owner did not offer the access to that closet and I guess they were not for general use. Not sure why. It would be lovely to take some of the rent money and upgrade the beach equipment! Ran out of toilet paper halfway through, so these areas of the rental felt a little stingy. In addition, there were no extra things around the living area such as books, games or cards, which often times previous vacationers leave behind. Most vacationers hate to be asking for every little thing. We were a local family who was meeting up, off island for a family get together, (not rich travelers) my grandson showed up earlier for his surf contest and needed to stay with us rather than at the predetermined place he was staying. Got billed for the extra people in the house. Like I said, lovely place, great location, very very clean! Thank you very much

We would definitely recommend this place. It’s a little drive up the hill from Kam Highway in a quiet neighborhood. The house adjoins two other units but is private and peaceful. Annegret, the host, is super helpful and responsive. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy and the place is very clean. The dryer takes quarters to operate, but the washer doesn’t, and you will need to bring laundry soap. If you are a very light sleeper and unused to roosters, you may want to consider earplugs. All in all, an awesome place to stay...

We had a great stay at Anne´s house- 2 couples 1 week. House is absolutely clean and offers enought space for everyone. Kitchen is fully equiped, we made all breakfasts and some dinners here and we didn´t miss anything we needed. The same in bathroom, plenty of towels, toilet paper, shower gel. Beach towels, candles, cable TV, Wi-fi internet, parking space on driveway. Nice, quiet place, close to Foodland, food trucks and beaches. North shore is definitely the best part of Oahu and Anne´s house is a great place to stay. We received a cluster of tasty bananas from Anne´s garden at arrival, much better than flower garland typical for Hawaii.

This is a great location for enjoying the north shore. Great food carts and grocery store close by. We enjoyed the wonderful nearby beaches and sunsets.
