My three grandkids and I really enjoyed our stay! The rental is on the ground floor of the house (owners are up top), and we found it very clean and close to the beach (steps away), in a quiet, more residential area. We had no trouble eating in a couple of nights as the kitchen was well-stocked with equipment, but it is just a 5 minute car trip to the historic area and numerous restaurants. Thank you, Judy and Jim!

The duplex was conveniently on the 1st floor and was beautifully decorated. It was well equipped with anything we needed. There is a short walk down a side street to reach path over dunes, but takes only takes about 5 minutes. Owners were helpful and responded to texts quickly. We highly recommend this property.

I really enjoyed the condo. I struggled with getting in the bed because it was so high. The table chairs also. As you can tell I am short. The weather was perfect. I think this is my favorite time of year to go to the beach. We usually go at least once a year to Fernandina. Hope to book with you again.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The home was very cozy and clean. Very comfortable furniture and bed. Wonderful location! We enjoyed being able to walk to two local restaurants and also one block over from the beautiful beach. We enjoyed the sun rises every morning. We will definitely save this as our favorite for this area.

We had a great stay at this location. Very easy access to the beach. Went to 3 golf courses within 15 - 25 minute drives. Several eating options close by. Enjoyed the family room set-up with multiple recliners! Occasionally, we would hear the owners walking above us, but did not consider it a big deal. Had a great stay despite cooler than normal temps! Exterior is very pretty, the interior, very ‘90’s. Owners live over the rental & woke us up just by walking heavily overhead every morning. The bathroom sink was stopped up and the tub has dirty adhesive in the bottom. The posted rules in the hall did not exactly match rules in description on line.

We were in Fernandina Beach to meet other family members and celebrate my husband’s 91st birthday and Grandson’s birthday. Had a great time. Place was very comfortable. Property owners were so responsive. Sent a neighbor over to help us get in. He even went home and got a battery for the door key pad. We will come back. Access to beach was so easy

I was looking to surprise my wife for her birthday with a stay in Amelia Island, Fernandia Beach. Our catch was finding a place that was dog friendly.
This place was perfect and as it said was only about 50 steps to the dunes and the beach and an easy ride into downtown Fernandia . Everything was as advertised, and we had no issues. Judy and Jim were very gracious hosts, and we would definitely stay here again. As an aside, we loved the town with its, many stores' restaurants and things to do. Great Florida Staycation!

This is just an all around great rental that has everything you need. Well stocked, wonderful location and great hosts. 2nd time here and already planning when we will be back (was hoping for fall but too many others thought the same thing!!) This property is literally steps away from the beach and you can hear the ocean from the deck. Very clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of games and nice TV. Beds are comfortable. Hoses to rinse off from the beach are available. Owners are on the upper level and you will see them, but they just want to make sure that you don't need anything. They are very friendly/accomodating and not intrusive at all. The beach itself is very family and dog friendly, clean, and beautiful. I would recommend staying here!
