This house is everything it says it is. We had 19 people aged from 1-61. We had beds for everyone- 2 of the rooms were big enough to put the pack n plays in for the babies.
2 kitchens was perfect for us. We had a regular kitchen and the smaller kitchen was our gluten free kitchen which made everyone at ease for no cross contamination
Lots of living space to be together or a part whatever we wanted
On a quiet street with the most spectacular views. The kids loved watching the gators cross the golf course and the adults loved watching the sunrise every morning.
Donna is the perfect host, very responsive before and got there and while there.

The property was excellent! First, it was exceptionally clean! Second, Donna, the host, was great to deal with. She quickly responded to my questions and gave us lots of information. Next, the property is a large older home that has been exceptionally taken care of and updated over the years. It is very spacious and there was more than enough room for our party of 16 to sprawl out. Last, the views from this property are amazing!!! Looking out from the expansive back deck you will see a small creek running through the wire grass and cattails (with a crabbing deck), directly behind that is a beautiful golf green and fairway. And if that isn’t enough you have a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean just behind the golf green!!! This is a fantastic property that we hope to go back to visit!

Wow! I starting writing an excellent review in my mind the moment we walked through the door. What a beautiful home in every way. The SPACIOUS living areas all pointing toward the 180 degree view brought the outside in. You could feel this house has hosted lots of memories for many happy people. Our party of 12 has enjoyed traveling together for years and we all agreed this house and its location will be one that draws up back again and again.

The house is quirky but spacious and well decorated. The views are amazing. All but two of the bathrooms are very small and outdated, but functional. The two kitchens thing is a pain in the neck, but made up for by the large dining space and many different gathering/chilling areas. Many pots and dishes in the kitchens. The pool table was broken when we arrived, so that was a bummer. No bath soap, dish soap or countertop cleaning supplies were provided, which was annoying.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home! We had a large group with 20 people and we had ample space for everyone. The two den areas have lots of seating for teens and adults to spend time together! The house is very clean and well kept! The views are beautiful and the quiet street was a plus! Two kitchen areas and two washing machines made it even better! The yard area at the back of the house is well kept and there was great covered space for grilling! We had one issue with the internet and were extremely impressed with how responsive the homeowner was! It was fixed within a very short time. After 10+ years of coming to Fripp, it seems we have finally found the right house!

Another family reunion on Fripp. We have stayed at many homes. This home was a wonderful choice. It was very clean. The views were fantastic. Lots of wildlife all around. The living rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms were inviting after a long day on the beach. The kitchens had everything you could possibly want or need. The dining room tables seated all 13 of us. We would highly recommend this home.

We had a week here in mid June. The house was great for a large family gathering. The views are awesome. Watched the sunrise from the deck most mornings. Plenty of space for the kids to play too. Our adult kids love to cook and the 2 kitchens worked out well. Had everything we needed

We came to Fripp for a Family vacation and this house was perfect for us! We had 20 people and there was plenty of space for us with room to spare! The double kitchens were great for cooking with our large group! The location was on the golf course and the view was spectacular! It is a short golf cart ride to the beach.

My friends and I stayed at this property when we participated in the Pledge the Pink weekend Breast Cancer walk. This property was perfect for us: plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, but the right type of space that allowed us to enjoy time together. Most of the house has been beautifully updated, and the entire place has a wonderful authentic coastal vibe. The views are stunning; be sure to catch the sunset! We enjoyed the daily viewings and visits from birds and deer.
The host was very responsive and communicative, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever dealt with! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this property again.

Everything was perfect except for a few items with electrical issues, plumbing issues in the main kitchen so we couldn't do dishes and palmetto bugs aka roaches and spiders were present but were all corrected by the host almost immediately! The house alone is an older home with some minor updates. The stairs and floors are extremely loud and noisy, so if you have late risers you may want to put them on the 2nd floor. Some of our guests did not get adequate sleep due to the loud stairs.
Overall, the house seems kept up and clean with spectacular views! We saw lots of wildlife, deer, racoons, crabs and an alligator. We sat out on the deck and it was heaven on earth! It was nice to have basic seasonings and spices available along with coffee and sugar! It would be nice to have oil or butter available along with condiments especially for those who stay under a week. We had to buy a few condiments that we didn't use up unfortunately, we weren't sure if we should leave them behind so we threw away 1/4 used bottles. Cupboards have everything to cook and bake with, some shot glasses would be nice! I also recommend a garbage disposal.
The rental includes amenity cards to the pools and clubs, which we visited and we all enjoyed each one of them. Sadly, the hot tubs were all down. Perhaps it is the time of year we visited. Our visit was 9/14-9/19 2022. Simply beautiful. Overall, we have been recommending this home to friends. It is extremely secure and safe. We will be back!

This was the find of a lifetime, perfect for a family gathering! At one point we had 15 adults in residence and with eight bedrooms and five sitting areas plus a game room, two kitchens, we never felt rushed or squeezed in! We could feed everyone at the same time, plenty of serving dishes etc. The view, quiet location was PERFECT! FRIPPIN Beautiful!!!!

It is a pleasant surprise when you find a great listing and the Physical property is even better than you imagined. It was a great time. Mostly we spent time with our family and cooked in. We utilized the two kitchens once for cooking and the other for drinks and cocktails. We used the grill nearly everyday. There were enough room for the 14 of us that we didn't even use one of the bedrooms. Overall very happy we found the place. Donna was very helpful especially her patience on explaining the amenity cards. We used 8 cards among the 12 adults. We are not golfers and we did not try any of the restaurants. Mostly they were used for pool access. If you are on the fence about renting a golf cart, it would mostly depend on how much beach time you plan to do. Nearly all the beach accesses only have room for golf cart parking. Honestly it was great to rent one and have it available. We rented from the marina and the rental/return process was about as easy as it can get. I can't say there was anything we were lacking from the house. All the utensils we needed to cook our menu were available. We flew into Savannah early enough that we could send one of the cars to Costco and buy food for the group and still make it out to the island before dark. Preplanning the first few days of meals helped so that we could enjoy the house and island for a few days before needing to run out again. Grab your breakfast, watch the birds, jumping fish, and alligators from the deck and relax. We'd be glad to rent again. The house helped make my parents 52nd Anniversary very memorable. Thank you!

Beautiful views and plenty of space for large groups
Our extended family of 15 (ages 5-72) loved staying at this property! We all had plenty of space—the 2 kitchens and multiple living areas were amazing! The view and sunrises were an added bonus! Beds were comfortable, and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking and enjoying the island. Highly recommend!

This is the third year for my extended family renting this property. The view from the back deck is unbelievable. It is the perfect space for multiple families-there are enough beds for over 20 people and the two kitchens make large meal prep so easy! Donna is very responsible and great to work with-any issue we had was addressed quickly. Highly recommend.

We've been going to Fripp for 17 years, and have stayed in 15 different homes during that time, but I can say without a doubt this is the best home yet. It is a beautiful home in a great location with a ton of space. If you are planning a visit with a large group this is absolutely the place for you.
We had 3 families in the home ranging in age from 68 to 8, and everyone loved it. Donna was great to work with and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a great vacation. We will definitely be back!

Fripp Family Vacation
This property was extremely nice for our family of 20. Very clean, comfortable, plenty of sitting areas and the deck was fantastic. The kids loved the ping pong table area.
The kitchens are well outfitted and nicely decorated. Most importantly, the owners provided us great service. It’s unanimous that our family wants to return!!

Nice House
House was very nice with a good location on the golf course and sunrise views. Kitchen was well appointed and there was plenty of space.
Communication with the owner was difficult. I was hoping to get some local knowledge and understand how the resort worked but she was reluctant to get on the phone. We spent money on the amenity card not knowing what they covered. I would only get a few unless you need the whole group to go someplace on the island at the same time. The resort properties seemed rundown, restaurants and marina was not open.
I found little opportunity to fish from the island. There is only one pier that I found and there is no dock at the property.
Highly recommend getting a golf cart when you arrive. There is not place to park cars at beach access or most places.
Make sure you get toilet paper and garbage bags before crossing onto the island.
We were able to see lots of deer and watch gators cross the golf course which was fun.
The house was very nice. The resort amenities are a bit run down. Convenience store on the island is very expensive and not very friendly.
I would look at the location again now that I have more information.

Wonderful stay
The property is all that the listing says it is. It was perfect for a multi family reunion. The views and area are absolutely gorgeous. Communication with the host was easy. Would definitely stay again.

A Salty Paradise
We so enjoyed this property! Communication with the owners were outstanding, with check-in and activity suggestions. The pictures don’t really do the place justice! It was comfortable in every way, and had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and baths. Beds very comfortable and more than enough room for our family. Walking the paths enjoying the beach and all the amenities is how we spent the days. The wild life was truly breath taking as the were deer walking right along the back deck every day. We mainly stayed close to the house and enjoyed the large kitchen and deck overlooking the golf course and the ocean. Sun and moon rises were amazing from the deck. There are some great little restaurants downtown Beaufort for some local southern costal food. We will be planning another trip.

Finding a house on Fripp to accommodate 7 couples that provided everyone room to spread out, cook, eat together, play games and have an amazing view is worth every penny. Well done.

Perfect for large groups
The layout of two kitchens and multiple sitting areas is perfect for large groups or families. Views are amazing from the top deck, bottom patio, or inside the living area!

Perfect house for a large group
Our family has been coming to Fripp for about 40 years and we have stayed at a lot of houses on the island. As our children become adults, our space needs have grown. There are not many houses on the island that can accommodate us - we had 18 people, all over age 16. This house appears to have been 2 duplexes that were combined into 1 house - so there are 2 entrances and the 2 sides are mirror images of each other. There are 3 bedrooms with king sized beds - which is great for 3 sets of parents. The 2 upstairs kings have their own attached baths. The other 4 upstairs bedrooms share 2 hall baths. The other king in the lower level has its own hall bath. The bunk beds are on the small side and the lower beds do not have a lot of clearance. They are good for kids, but our young adults did not fit well in the bunks and ended up sleeping on the couches. The lower level is 2 separate areas with separate entrances. The only interior connection is by going upstairs and using the second set of stairs to get to the other side. So downstairs there is one side with a king bedroom, a full bath with laundry setup inside, and a living area. The other side has a bedroom with a full bed and a set of bunk beds, the game room, laundry room and full bath. It was fine for teens, but really young kids downstairs will be essentially alone in the bedroom. There are 2 full kitchens with plenty of storage and fridge space. Lots of pots, pans etc - the kitchen is well stocked. Living and dining areas are large with lots of seating - we were easily able to gather together. The grilling area is downstairs and covered. There is an abundance of pool and beach chairs, toys etc in the garage. Bath towels are smaller and there were no extras - might be a good idea to bring a few extra if you need more than one towel. Note that amenity cards are available but must be purchased separately for $50 each. You will need these to access any pool, golf, etc. Recommend renting golf carts to get to beach and pools. We had 4 and used them all the time. These sell out quickly as well so book many months in advance. We had some maintenance issues while we were there. Donna was responsive and had them handled quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this house.

Awesome View
Our family loved the spacious house. There was enough sitting space for everyone to sit at the table and also so many comfy chairs to relax. Loved the idea of two kitchens where we could spread out all our food. We definitely will be returning!!!

Great spot on this island
Our group of 16 had an awesome time. We were given the opportunity to check in early and check out late. The house and property was just as advertised. Plenty of room for all of us. The property owner was fantastic to communicate with. She was very responsive when we had a question or need. We all would go back again, Fripp Island was a beautiful spot...swimming at the beach or pools, golfing, or just relaxing.

Lovely Getaway - AMAZING House!
We went with a small group to celebrate my husband's birthday and this house and the views from the back deck were amazing. Donna couldn't have been nicer or more responsive, particularly after we got there and I had a few questions. I have always loved staying at Fripp but this was our first time at this rental; I would definitely love to stay here again!

Unforgettable Family Vacation!!
With a last minute change to our extended family vacation for 18 people, we were taking chance and a bit nervous as we had never been to Fripp Island. I can tell you this was one of the most memorable vacations our family has ever had. From the beginning, Donna, the owner of the home was fantastic and spent over an hour educating me on the island and the home. The home is beautiful with amazing views of the golf course and ocean. The home is well equipped and has everything you need. The beach is vast and beautiful. The two golf courses are beautiful and in fantastic shape. We can’t wait to go back.
