We love this place. It's right across the street from the beach...and a less crowded part of it. The bedroom balcony has a view of the ocean. The pool is clean and not usually crowded...there's only 8 units here. We decided to extend our stay one more day on the last day we were there and they were able to accommodate us.

This is a great property, very clean, nice and close to the beach, however the dishwasher overflowed water onto the floor and property managers were basically like, "oh so sorry that happened, your comfort is important to us," and then didn't do anything about it. Disappointing. Outside of that, really great place.

The Waves unit 4 was a wonderful condo! Quick access to the beach, maybe a 2 minute walk or less. The property was clean, pool was great. Condo itself was clean, comfortable beds, tons of kitchen supplies if you want to cook a meal. Would stay again!

It's a great location, steps from the beach and the Palms Cafe...one of our favorite restaurants. The condo is clean and comfortable. The kitchen has more pots, pans, and utensils than mine. The pool area is great and usually quiet.

Bed was terrible, the glasses were dirty, there was black mold in the master shower, the air conditioner leaked water so much that we had to place a towel on the floor because it was a slip hazard. For the money I paid I would not recommend this place; it was horrible!!!

Cute and Comfortable
We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Turtle Haven. The place was very clean. It was much nicer than the condo our relatives had in a large high rise. It was an awesome place to stay with our dog, while enjoying the beach for a few days. I will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area.

Vacasa should be more proactive
The temperature was boiling. When we arrived the condo was 89 degree. Shortly after arriving we were informed they replaced the AC blower and it should cool down soon. After 5 hours it had only dropped to 83. By this point I called customer service to report the issue. If it wasn't for Eric the service manager it would have been a ruined vacation. However, Vacasa could have been proactive and avoided the entire issue. They had on record that there was an AC issue for 2 weeks. Yet, nothing was done to notify us of an issue or getting the AC replaced before we got there. In the end Vacasa cost my family more grief and money than they did help.

Beach get away
We have been renting condo units for about 4 yrs & by far this unit has been the best. It was kept well maintained & clean . We will definitely rent this unit next time we come down to SPI & recommend it to friends & family. Everything is so close to walk to like restaurants & the beach. Thank you for a great stay

Nice Dog Friendly Condo
The condo was very nice. It reminded me of those time shares with very similar floor plans. Email instructions for the door lock key pad were good, but slightly unclear. “Brinks” is an actual button you have to push to get the code to work. It is also the only button you push in order to lock the condo from the outside. Lock & code work well. The condo is well equipped for the stay. The wifi network has a new name that foes not match the email instructions. After you discover the new network name, it works very well. The beds and baths were great. If you need the sofa hide a bed, that mattress is not very good. It really is the only thing on the property that needs replacing (just the mattress). The condo is upstairs with a nice view of the area, but the stairway up has more steps than normal. If you have mobility issues, this condo is not for you. It has one long parking space that will accommodate two cars. We had no problems with any illegal parkers. The condo is within walking distance of the beach. The is a small swimming pool that will accommodate a few kids. I have given the property five stars as it was very nice and we experienced no problems. It was very clean and well maintained. The a/c worked well and there seemed to be a good fire alarm system. I recommend this property.

Hidden gem!
A true hidden gem that's across the street from public beach access. From my balcony, were able to see the conditions of the beach and we could decide if we wanted to venture out or not.
So well stocked and filled with things that made our stay easier. Large pans and utensils to make fajitas, check! Wineglasses and wine opener to drink our wine, check! Beach chairs to bring on our beach day, check!

Great getaway!
My wife and I had an awesome time staying in this condo. It was clean, it had everything that we needed (towels, shampoo, conditioner, full kitchen with utensils, etc.), it was super close to the beach access (just around the corner!). The only problem we encountered was not being able to get in when we arrived. More instructions on the Vrbo email would have helped (such as explaining that the door had to be slightly pulled towards you as you input the access code, and the wifi information was not accurate). Nevertheless, after spending about 30 minutes talking to a Vrbo representative (who was very helpful) and getting a call from the local representative (who was polite and patient), everything went smoothly from there. We will definitely be back.

Could not have asked for better
Such a great condo in a great location that I would like to try and get it any time that my kids and I visit SPI. We loved that easy and close beach access, I enjoyed having my coffee and watch the waves in the morning of the back patio, superb rooms and amenities. Just a great experience overall.

This location is spot on! Less than a 5min walk to the beach! Spacious condo with an amazing view of the beach. Neighbors were very friendly. I would 100% recommend this place to friends and family. I will definitely book this place again on my next beach trip!

Way better than expected!!
We travel frequently and mostly to beaches. Decided to give South Padre a try. This place was a newer modern place with everything needed. Very clean and just the right size. Pet friendly was nice and it was across the street from the beach, easily walking distance. We loved our stay, thank you.

Saldana stay
The condo was very clean and inviting. The only issue was that the cable in the master bedroom was not working. We experienced some strong winds Saturday night as a result of hurricane Hanna and noticed water coming in from the door to the balcony. The threshold may need replacing. I have already recommended this place to friends and family.
