tv channels unavailable much of the time because of poor signal I guess. Netflix would have been a good option but not available

Price was good. Free WiFi. Parking. Location good.

Very old fashioned, dull and tired looking, cobwebs everywhere, bed old and creaky, old and past its best bedding, musty smell as soon as you walked into property, no bedside table, no lamp, kettle not clean inside with lots of limescale, no proper shower just rubber hose attached to bath taps, no information or directions as to locking up and leaving key on checkout.

The estate is quite a long way out of town. I didn't see many facilities in the immediate area (but then I didn't explore much).

Host very amenable. Parking on-street at no cost.

No TV in room. Property extremely dated.

Nothing, the room looked like it hadn't been decorated since it was built, the bathroom was discusting, it was obvious it was used mainly for contractors working on Hinckley point power station as the wardrobes had other people's clothes in it, work ware ect, we asked the proprieter if we could use her iron as we were going to a wedding that day, the answer was, I don't think so, that's the only time we saw her, the house was in need of a good clean and we will be looking for compensation as that was not what we expected

Clean, and homely. Plenty of toiletries available in the bathroom. Good to have easy access to a microwave. Lesley provided us with additional crockery on request. Quiet area. Able to park on the driveway so off the road. My husband in particular liked the firm mattress on the bed.

The bathroom was a little dated. We did not use the shower as it was over the bath and the position of it meant it would be difficult to use without getting the floor wet particularly as no shower curtain.
