Very comfortable and clean property located right across the street from the most beautiful beach and a short walk into town. Loved our stay!

Key West Suite worked for us, but there were a couple things that we thought could be improved. The 3rd bedroom off the kitchen needs a door, room dividers or a curtain to shut it off from the rest of the suite. We were a family of 6, and the 4 of us on the other side couldn’t really do anything in the kitchen or family room area in the morning for fear of waking the others up. The pool didn’t have much sun, which may have been the time of year, and it was chilly so we didn’t get in it. The location was perfect, the check-in was easy, and staff was very friendly.

First let me focus on the positive. The location was perfect and right across the street from the beach. Very walkable to the little village. Property was clean and the pool was gorgeous. Bathrooms were great but both showers grout needs to be cleaned and the showers need to be recaulked and diverters replaced. I felt as though one of them could’ve fallen off in my hand. The kitchen was adequate and clean but needs some additional items including a paper towel rack, a Keurig coffee maker. many of the VRBO/houses that we rent are better equipped and I was disappointed that this wasn’t the case in this unit. There were spices in the cabinet but there wasn’t even salt! I recommend adding some Ziploc bags and foil if need to wrap food products. I personally don’t like not being able to adjust the air/heat but I recognize there’s nothing that can be done about that. Overall it was a pleasant trip but I do think some upgrades need to be done.

Location is literally a 2 minute walk to the beach. Private pool was great for the kids. The weather did not cooperate, but we still enjoyed the stay. The property managers were very accommodating and flexible. We experienced an issue with the entry door and a ceiling fan Christmas Eve; the door was fixed within an hour of having reported it and the ceiling fan was replaced with a new fan shortly after. Highly recommend this rental.

4 separate beds and 2 full bathrooms....perfect for 4 ladies in their 50's! Easy to get to the beach and to the main area for shopping and restaurants. You can walk to the restaurants/shopping or you can order up a ride.

Our condo was very nice...great location just steps from beautiful Siesta Key Beach!

Great location, convenient with beach chairs, wagon and umbrella supplier. Beautiful pool. Don’t stay here if you’re looking for privacy, pool is shared with multiple other Vrbo’s but great for socializing if that’s what you’re looking for.

Great location with easy walk to beach. Was able to get into the location early which worked great for our family. 10 min walk to village. Apartment/house was perfect for our family of 5. Everyone had their own bed and space. Loved the washing machine and dryer to clean beach clothing. Pool right outside the door. Overall great place to stay!!

We were right across the street to beach access. The access point was far enough away from the main parking/entry area so it was less crowded, which was nice. Nice location, clean, no issues with check-in. Great stay!

Beautiful home, gorgeous pool, across from the beach, 10 minutes to walk to the Village, wonderful outdoor seating, lived it! Quaint and cozy!

Gumbo lindo was lovely. The check in procedure was easy and our hour early check in time was accommodated. We had to be at wedding at 5:30 with 3 girls and we made it right on time! This unit was clean and very close to restaurants, bars and shops. Beach access is close. It was chilly but we did some beach walks. All in all we had a great stay

This property is clean, convenient and close to all the boxes you want to check on Siesta Key. Walking distance to the village, basically across the street from beach access, and a nice shared pool area and grill. It’s affordable for the number of people it sleeps. The kitchen is small, but adequate. The beds are comfortable enough. The floors are noisy but it’s real wood and real wood is noisy. Overall a great experience.

We went for sisters 60th birthday. Nice, clean comfortable place and the pool area was fabulous. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Great location and cottage- loved that we were so close to the beach and downtown only 10 min walk. Our only complaint would be the beds- our master bed was soooo uncomfortable. Just a terrible mattress. Other than that it was an amazing stay

We had a great stay at the Key West Suite for our girls beach weekend. Pool was awesome! The suite was spacious for 6 of us girls. Kitchen stocked with dishes and utensils which was perfect for us all cooking dinner.

Great property for my small family and two parents. There was ample space in the unit, very clean and our favorite part was the semi-private, shared pool for all the condo units. Situated off the main road, the beach and Siesta Key village are all within walking distance. Would definitely go back! Thanks a great stay!

Property was a great location. So close to the beach, less than a mile to the village and trolley stop basically at the front door. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Only real con was the shared pool was betweeen I believe 4 places and sadly there was people there with loud music until after midnight and screaming. We aren’t prudes by any means but you also have no clue who your potential neighbors will be. And many of the beach chairs were sadly broken. Communication with booking was easy and they were very responsive when we had a WIFI issue. Def would stay again.

I highly recommend the Key West Suite at Gumbo Limbo! The location couldn’t have been better and the pool area was private. Perfect for our girls weekend!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very close to the beach, trolley stop, and ~10 to 20 min into walk (depending on if you're the 5 year old or the 81 year old).

Great location, beach access right across from Siesta Beach and the lifeguard stations. Also shortcut to walk to Siesta Village nearby. Free trolley stop was also right at the corner. Virginia the Property manager was wonderful. Always available to answer any questions or get right back to you. The property was set up nicely. It's upstairs with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, one king and one with 2 twin beds. Another "bedroom" off the dining/living room area. Needs a drape for more privacy between the dining/living room area. No closet or dresser for clothes. Second bathroom and laundry facility is also in this room. There was a vibration and humming sound, which I think was from the air conditioning downstairs. Nice living room and dining room area. Small kitchen but sufficient. With 5 people we could have used more dishes and silverware. Virginia mentioned several times to be aware that the sound travels to the property downstairs since we were upstairs. We did take off our shoes but I will say we too could hear noises, people talking. from downstairs as well. Nice picnic table outside on our balcony. Small balcony off Master bedroom with two chairs and access to pool. Pool was small but heated and the children loved it. Beach chairs, sand and pool toys are in shed which was very nice. There are recliners around the small pool area to sit and sun bathe. There is also a BBQ and picnic table downstairs and another sitting area (chairs) near the pool. We didn't use this area as there was a larger group using that area most of the time. Linens and towels are included in unit. You do need to bring your own beach towel. That wasn't a problem especially with the washer and dryer. Both appliances were old and washer did make weird sounds while using it. We all had a really nice time and I would definitely stay at Gumbo Limbo again. Perhaps at another unit.

We spent a wonderful 3 weeks at this property in February. The location is just perfect - literally a few steps from what we think is the nicest beach we’ve ever stayed at. Only a 10 minute walk to Siesta Key Village for nice bars, restaurants and shops. It was great not to have to deal with parking a car when we wanted to go out for dinner or drinks (or gelato!). Finally, a beautiful, warm pool which was just a great place to spend a few hours - a real highlight for us. I worked remotely from here part of the month and the Wi-Fi was great, lightning fast. Virginia was an excellent host, very responsive to any questions we had. Can’t wait to come back another time!

Located within a short walk to beach access. We stayed upstairs in the Key West unit. Beautiful new landscaping was put into place around the pool during our stay. Although the work interfered with our use of the pool it was nice to see the pool man come to clean up at the end of the day. Virginia did a good job of communicating with us on these matters. Renters in the future will be able to enjoy a fresh lovely tropical garden planting. We had some difficulty with the TV but these issues were addressed in a timely manner as well.

This property was very clean and so close to the beach. We hope to be back , since the weather was so cold we were unable to enjoy the beach.

The property was great. We our a family of five and rented the Key West Suite. It was plenty spacious and we really enjoyed the location. The owner Virginia stopped at the property during the stay to make sure everything was good. We enjoyed the pool and the unit was a wonderful location and area. We looked forward to going back.
