We were very unlucky with the weather. Nick, the General Manager, however managed to make our stay fantastic. Above and beyond is an understatement describing the service Nick provided. All the time very attentive and providing tips where to go and where to dine. The quiet gardens and the terrace are a dream. The location is perfect, just down the road is the harbour. The hike up the Vidova Gora, the mountainbike Tour and Tennis were our highlights in Bol. Also don't miss the local wine!

EVERYTHING was PERFECT!!! Location was amazing. Hotel was gorgeous. Views were stunning. Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious. Nick (GM) was the most helpful, friendly, and accommodating host I’ve ever had, and truly was the highlight of our stay. He went above and beyond for us the entire duration of our stay and made our trip so memorable and pleasant. We will definitely be coming back and would live there if we were allowed to.

We liked EVERYTHING!

Our late-season stay at Villa Giardino in Bol, Brač was an incredible, and memorable experience. It's a gorgeous and historic boutique hotel, with lux rooms. Location and amenities were perfect. Breakfast was heavenly. It's the staff though, who make VG a *must-stay* in Bol. Nick was the consummate host. I cannot say enough about this man and the VG staff, and their value to our stay. We were the only two guests at VG, arriving on September 30. It was a birthday / surprise engagement trip —she said yes!— and Nick and team made sure it was unforgettable. Where we'd expect other hotels to limp into the end of the season, Nick and team pulled out all the stops for us. Full, delicious breakfast, concierge service, endless meta on Bol and Brač... Anything we needed, Nick and team were there. Thoroughly enjoyed downtime spent chatting with Nick, as well. Our flight out of Split was cancelled, and we had to reschedule departure through Dubrovnik. Nick and VG accommodated us for an additional night, and helped plan a meaningful last day in Bol. Nick then graciously offered to taxi us comfortably from Bol to Milna, for the early morning (late-season) ferry to Dubrovnik. None of these acts of kindness were expected, they simply went above and beyond. We'll never forget this stay and experience with Villa Giardino. They made our beautiful trip into, we hope, a yearly tradition. Pro tip: Ask VG how to rent a "buggy" to explore the island for a day —or more! Start with a sun and swim at Zlatni Rat. Visit Vidova Gora for its stunning scenic vista. Stop into the small towns to eat, drink, and be merry. Chat up the ever-friendly locals. Žíveli!

The breakfasts were exceptionally good with lots of choice.

Nick and his colleagues are perfect hosts. You never have to ask for anything, they already seem to know what you are looking for. The place is really quiet with a beautiful garden (where breakfast is served). You only have few steps to go to "Bol City" where you can find any restaurant you desire. The rooms are clean and equipped well (not ultra-modern, but fully sufficiently). The breakfast was EXTRAORDINARY! Home-made cakes, fresh fruit, fresh juice, eggs, ham,.. everything what you might desire, is already there. We have travelled a lot over the last years, but we have never felt "at home" like there. Thank you very much for letting us be your guests!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Giardino, thanks to Nick and the team. We stayed in the attic room which was the only one available for our dates. We found it very comfortable. The hotel is a fantastic place to relax. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the stylish Villa Giardino for a week in September and are absolutely speechless! Everything was fine! The hotel is in a very central location, yet it is very quiet. The rooms were very large, the bed super comfortable with very good pillows. The view is fantastic and in general the room was very, very clean! The entire hotel complex is beautiful and everything is made with a lot of love. There are many seating areas to relax. The breakfast, freshly prepared each morning, is the best we have ever had. Nick reads every wish from your lips and prepares breakfast with his team. There is fresh fruit every morning as well as homemade cakes, pastries etc. Nick, the manager, was the most pleasant and accommodating hotel manager we have ever encountered! We have absolutely nothing to complain about during our stay and are very happy that we chose Villa Giardino! We will be back definitely!

Staying at Villa Giardino we were welcomed with open arms by Nick and Helena. The hotel is stylishly designed, comfortable and the breakfast is delicious - try the fig jam! But it was Nick and Helena that really made our stay so unforgettable - friendly and helpful. We left feeling like we’d made some new friends. Thank you.

Nick is an outstanding host: professional, super polite and great sense of humour! He could be taken from an old British novel and he's making for a big part of what constitutes the charm of Villa Giardino.

We were in the newly renovated hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is beautiful, the garden a paradise, the rooms great and the service just perfect! The breakfast is delicious and offers plenty of choice for all guests. Thank you for that! :) I can simply recommend this newly renovated hotel, do not be fooled by the old reviews, a visit is always worth it! homely authentic feel

Excellent, warm welcome.

The hotel building itself is beautiful with serene green areas and quiet surroundings (situated in a calm residential area) while still being very close to the centre of Bol. However, what makes this hotel stand out from other great hotels I've stayed at, is the attention of its wonderful owners and the phenomenal staff. They are beyond friendly (more like family) and whatever your need is, you will find that they will go out of their way to assist you. I also personally love that the hotel is just small enough so you can get to know everyone, including your fellow guests, if you are so inclined. It is obvious that Nick and Helena has put a lot of love into their business and that they have a vision for what they want to do with it in the future. I will definitely be returning soon.

Nick and the team provided an exceptional, very personalised service. Nothing was too much of an issue; among other things, they happily cater to any dietary requirements for breakfast. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, just up the hill from the centre of town in peaceful gardens.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Giardino. The property is beautiful with a front and back garden and a fantastic terrace to enjoy breakfast on every morning. Inside is just as beautiful and our room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The hotel itself is located just a stone’s throw from the centre of Bol, yet is so relaxing and quiet. You could quite happily spend your day in one of the gardens and enjoy the peace and quiet. Villa Giardino is run by Nick and his wife Helena who couldn’t have been more kind, accommodating and helpful. We were served a fresh glass of lemonade as soon as we arrived and nothing was too much - Nick was happy to look up tour options and suggest places to visit on the island. Thanks Nick! A special shout out to Sophia, who served us breakfast every morning and encouraged to try all the delicious treats on offer - they didn’t disappoint! We can’t wait for our next trip to Bol!

Lovely property in a great location. Offered a haven of peace from the busy town. Great breakfast and excellent service. Nick, the hotel manager, was very friendly and welcoming.
