Our room was not in the main residence. The whole house was old, cold and not even the phone was working. very disappointed

absolutely loved La Torre! Location & property beautiful. Breakfast wonderful & we did the pizza class which was so special. The property & people were so authentic!

The estate was beautiful but the apartments were run down

I was charged by hotel for 2 apts, though I only rented one. I need to still figure this mess up with booking.com The apartment was very run down, paint peeling everywhere, floors so dirty you had to keep your shoes in. No AC, nor screens on windows (lots of mosquitoes!), so we had to suffer in the extreme heat. Dried up sticky food on table.

The staff at check-in and check-out were very pleasant. The grounds were generally well kept and pool was quite decent.

Bed was not a queen size as expected but a metsl spring setup with 2 rather uncomfortable mattresses pushed together. Windows need screens set up if you are not providing air conditioning otherwise the mosquitos are happy to fly in and get you! Uncomfortable love seat with ugly orange cover placed over it and 2 kitchen chairs only to sit on.

I liked the swimming pool, the location and the whole set up. we honestly felt so at ease and the restaurant was fantastic… although there was a limited choice, it shows the food was cooked with love. the staff were lovely to deal with and we had a WhatsApp contact as our accommodation was 500m from the reception. great views from our room! something I’d never seen before - the sunset and sunrise over vineyards. the area was very safe and required a passcode to get in and park the car up - we were very at ease. our accommodation had a lovely communal balcony area to eat at and have a few drinks. only a short drive from Siena. it wouldn’t have been possible to stay here without a car be aware

the reception staff trying to rush us out during check out. we were contacted by phone and through booking.com to leave and pay up, even though I contacted them and said we would be 30 minutes late due to having a very young child with us. the reception staff also didn’t have fantastic English. the air con was just a plug in fan - please be aware!

You simply cannot beat those views of the Tuscany country side. While I wish the property itself had more amenities, the view there was great. Pool was also nice.

There was no A/C in the apartments. There was major difficulty in getting a taxi into Siena. It was a 10 min walk to dinner at the restuarant

Wonderful location, just stunning. But could not regulate the heating I was cold although my partner was fine, swimming pool was not opened yet. Would go there again for few days but not a longer stay.

Great and quitet location in the middle of nature but only ca. 10 minutes away from the Siena centre (by car). Our apartment was REALLY spacious. Upon our arrival we received a leaflet with useful information about the facilities and where to eat in Siena. The staff was always really happy to assist us and have a friendly chat with us.

Be mindful! The apartments are located off the premises and have nothing to do with the beautiful pictures of the large villa. The host explained to us that there are two different businesses and that when you book on this website you will sleep in a quiet apartment around a kilometer away. We had to take the car to the swimming pool. We were disappointed when we found out because we thought we booked a whole different kind of experience. I don’t think the ad makes clear at all what kind of accommodation you’re about to book. However: when you’re looking for a nice, clean apartment that is very quiet and is in the middle of Tuscany, it’s wonderful! It’s very clean.

Beautiful property. We did the wine tasting- we learned a lot about the wine! And it was a lot of fun! Beautiful views and wonderful pool! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Would definitely return!

Just make sure to check your room when booking! There are separate apartments off of the main site… this confused us when we arrived! But they helped us switch it to be onsite- so kind!!

The staff was not really helpfull when there was a streamcut which also caused a stop in watersupply. As Tourist you are not prepared for this and did not receive information or support (candles, water)

We had a wonderful stay at La Torre alle Tolfe - this is a true gem next to Siena. We ended up staying on the premises the whole time instead of booking other visits in the area (we didn't have a car so that worked well for us). We enjoyed the pool, walked around the estate, took a wine tasting tour together with a guided visit of the cellars, attended a cooking class, and ate at the restaurant every night. Mania, the owner, is very passionate about what they do there and took excellent care of us. The highlight of our trip to Italy!
