Luigi was the perfect host! He called us the morning that we were to arrive to confirm the time of arrival. He then met us when we arrived to help us take our luggages to the hotel. Very smooth process. He provided us recommendations on where to eat and helped us book reservations. He’s available 24/7 if required and he’s super fast in responding to any questions or requests.

The best stay in Amalfi! My partner and I stayed for two nights and had the best time. The room is absolutely gorgeous, very clean, well kept and the private terrace was beautiful! Luigi went above and beyond and provided a list of restaurants and even made us a reservation one evening. It is in a very safe and secure spot and an easy walk from the port. We couldn’t believe how comfortable the bed was, the best sleep I had our whole trip.

A cozy and clean home on the main Amalfi street. It blends the location in a historical building with a fresh and modern renovation. The view from a large terrace is simply astonishing: you can see both the main street and the overhanging mountains. We've had an exceptional one-week stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a holiday in Amalfi.

We had an incredibly enjoyable time for our honeymoon. Luigi was an excellent host and ensured that we had everything we needed promptly and efficiently. The location is within walking distance from everything, and the rooms and building were immaculately clean.

Nothing, booking.com had advertised the room, incorrectly. When we reached the room, is was clear that it was not as advertised, after we queried it with booking.com they changed the listing. And then denied it.

Large comfortable bed, great large shower with good pressure, unbelievably clean, 2 sets of bright large opening doors to patio, huge private patio area where you could overlook the street below if you wanted and super wonderful host who was always there when needed but not intrusive. Location was brilliant, a short stroll up the gentle slope of the Main Street and the apartment was inside a beautiful gated entry. It was a pleasure to come home to each day.

Luigi was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The location of the room was perfect, close to restaurants, shops and the seafront, which was useful as unfortunately we had some rain but we couldn’t have been in a better place. It was a beautiful room with great balcony. Luigi gave us recommendations for places to eat and they were all great! We would definitely come back!

We've spent the most amazing time in Palazzo Gargano. The room was perfectly equipped and very cosy with a big terrace overlooking the area and stunning view to the mountains. Luigi's kind hospitality made our stay unique! We were welcomed with a plate of fresh fruit, biscuits, drinks and a bottle of tasty local wine. Each morning we were served with freshly pressed smoothie of our choice, wich was a very nice surprise and gift from the host. Luigi was very helpful and open to contact, we could count on his help on numerous occasions from arrangement of the parking place, various recommendations on what to do, to restaurant bookings. All his tips and help made our stay very relaxing and we could enjoy the best of Amalfi. The place itself is perfectly situated between the quieter part of the city and the busy area with all the shops and restaurants so we could taste a bit of both as we preferred. We'd definitely love to come back to Palazzo Gargano for another holiday :)

We liked most the apartment and its facilities as well as the house in which it was located. Also, we enjoyed a lot the hospitality that Luigi, the host, provided. In my opinion, the apartment looks better in reality than on pictures as someone might have said in the comments already earlier. We had the corner room with amazing terrace surrounding the entire apartment and with outside seating and lounger which anyone who loves old historic towns will simply love - it had a view to the surrounding houses, terraces and rooftops and you hear the street life sounds (but not noise!) from underneath. The apartments are in one of the oldest apartment houses in the town which is very nicely renovated but yet preserves its old beauty. We loved it. The room had a modern and clean bathroom with toiletries provided. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room after closing the windows and blinds was quiet although it is located above a busy street. Aircon working perfectly. The way to the apartment is through the busy main street but Luigi was so kind and helped with the luggage. It takes not more than 5 minutes to get there from the main square close to the port and the main road. Due to its location, you have everything (restaurants, shops, church, bars, port etc,) in reach. Huge complimentary fruit basket, bottle of wine, local sweets and water was provided by Luigi on our arrival after he helped us to find our way to the apartment. Before the arrival and also during the stay, Luigi was checking on us several times and each time asked if we need anything or if everything is fine. With hosts like Luigi, you feel like you are at old friends and not in stranger's house. Truly memorable experience!
