Close to the beach. Pool is cool. There are a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Delicious and specially pre-orders breakfasts. Burgers are top! Stuff was very friendly and helping for any request. One day we left hotel at 6am for a trip to Ubud, so we didn’t catch the breakfast time. But when we came back close to 5pm we still could enjoy our afternoon-breakfast:) A peaceful and cozy place for couple/family holiday. Highly recommended!

Great location. We found it good for an overnight stay. Fabulous brunch menu, we enjoyed the food. Effective air conditioning beds and pillows comfortable.

If staying longer the room we had a little on the small side it perfect for what we wanted. Also can hear rooms next door and rooms very close together.

My friend and I stayed at the Akaya last year and absolutely loved everything about it. Which is why we decided to stay here again. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional, helpful, efficient, and discreet. The spacious rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, the wide double bed is very very comfortable, the shower is spacious (I love walk-in showers!), the complementary toiletries are lush. There's a small fridge, coffee/tea making facilities. The pool is gorgeous. The hotel is elegant and beautifully maintained. For my friend and I the Akaya is "home away from home".

Excellent location and very clean rooms. Close to lots of lovely restaurants and shops but very quiet in the hotel. Breakfast was included not much choice but very nice.

Nothing really but on wet days floors can be slippy and took a bit of a tumble on the stairs so if you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor room. Having said that I would definitely stay again.

The location is good, close to beach access which is down the side of Maya hotel. the cafe attached to restaurant has great coffee.

the bed was really hard and uncomfortable, so much so it made our hips sore and affected our sleep. maybe some mattress toppers might be a good idea . Rooms are quite small. can be noisy depending on the room you are in, street noise echos down the side alleyway. also the cleaning staff turned our AC off when they cleaned the room , meaning we came back to a hot and stuffy room after being out on the street and looking forward to a cool room, we were not happy about that

Great location in mid-Sanur. Close to warungs, supermarket, pharmacy, spas, shops and the beach. Loved the small size, never felt overrun. Pool was a perfect temperature. Staff were lovely, very helpful and always smiling. Really appreciated the water filter to refill water bottles. Great breakfast at Cafe Akaya.

The bed was a little hard for my liking but that's just personal taste. Still got a great night's sleep.

Excellent location, set back from the road and very quiet. It was spotless and the staff were always helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The towels smelt beautifully fresh and there were lovely smelling toiletries available in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows perfect. I didn’t use the pool but it looked clean and inviting.

Nothing at all to dislike, we loved it. I guess my only comment would be that it would have been nice to have somewhere to put the cases. The room was smaller than I’d anticipated from the pictures but still loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to return

The hotel is designed very lovely, the staff is so friendly and always in a good mood. The pool is beautiful. Also, the café and staff at the café are nice and there was nothing we were missing.

Swimming pool looked a little murky but it had been raining for two days so maybe that was the reason.

Very clean, rooms have everything you need, fridge and complimentary water tea and coffee. They leave you a plate of fresh fruit in the room. Refillable shampoo/conditioner and wash from a local company (sensation botanicals) worth the upgrade to a balcony room in my opinion. Staff very approachable and helpful. Great breakfast

We stayed twice during our trip, the first time we accidentally took the little laundry bag with our clothing from the wardrobe, you would think we had committed a major crime, they called and txt us to ask for it back! We returned it when we went back the following week, also as an eco hotel they could do away with the paper breakfast request as it turns out the menu is the same as in the little restaurant on site. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
