An appartament is very clean, nicely desinged, comortable and equipped with everything what needed for a longer stay. We have not planned to cook but finnally we cooked almost every day :) Loundry is 5 min away. We even tried a local hairdresser. The place is located 2 min by walk from the beach and we could see the sea and mountains from our balcony. We came by ferry (by our car) and were able to check in very early and check out in the evening. The place is pet friendly, we stayed with our cat and dog with no additional charge. Platanias is calm and quiet in November, we had a good rest, but still some restaurants and shops are open. A great butcher Meeting Group is close by, where you can find local goods of a very high quality. Weather is still nice to chill and sunbath by the pool. Chania is more lively with lots of restaurants open but we preferred more quiet place and prolonged our stay here.

Brush and broom would be nice to have.

The pillows were not great.

the property is perfectly located. very modern, extremely clean, and comfortable. the bathroom was beautiful with new tiles. very much a luxurious stay. our room had 2 AC’s and 2 balcony’s.

Awful and frightening Experience On arrival there was no one there to greet us, so the taxi driver gave us the key, initially we thought we had been given the wrong apartment as there was only a double bed and towels etc for 2 people, plus the apartment was much smaller than shown on the pictures. After making a phone call via booking.com we established we were in the right apartment and they would come and make up the sofa bed for my daughter and bring extra towels. We settled into our holiday and enjoyed the apartment although smaller than anticipated -it had everything we needed and was spotlessly clea, for the first 5-6 days we enjoyed the apartment and pool. and was having a lovely holiday. During the course of the stay we had noticed a hairline crack on the hob in the kitchen but it operated fine so didn’t think too much of it. One morning the maid asked what had happened, I explained we had noticed it but we hadn’t done it and she said she would have to call the manager of the apartments. Ten minutes later I was in the apartment alone, (my husband and daughter were round the pool) and the manager let himself in and straight away became aggressive, he said we must pay for a replacement hob and it was €210. I was trying to explain it was already there and he was just shouting you must pay, at which point my husband returned as could hear the raised voices. He also tried to explain the situation and the manager just got more aggressive and said, fine, if you not pay you leave in one hour, start to remove your things. I was trying to ask if they check apartments in between guests and show him how the edges were smooth not sharp so must have ben done a while, but he was just not listening and was just shouting,not my problem €210 euros or leave in one hour’. At this point he was on the phone speaking to someone in Greek saying he was getting us removed. I was frightened and my daughter who had overheard everything was very upset.

The apartment was very spacious, it was also very clean the cleaning lady was really nice. The pool is right next to the apartments and was also clean and well maintained. There are a lot of umbrellas and sun beds next to the pool. In the apartment, you have all the necessities for cooking. The apartment is also very close to the beach (100m) and to the mani square where all the stores are.

The pillows were very uncomfortable. The drain in the bathroom was also not really draining the water as it should.

Very close to the beach and restaurants like 1 minute walk. Quiet area for sleeping comfort.

Sofa bed was not so comfortable Even if they had almost daily cleaning, a dishwasher was missing for us, with a baby is somehow needed after you prepare baby food.

+ modern and clean apartment + only small amount of rooms, not a big complex + very good location, beach, restaurants and supermarket all only few meters away + usually calm street + pool clean, most of the time empty + Very friendly and helpful staff + plus a lot of very cute and friendly cats in the neighborhood

- missed a coffee machine - mattress was painful, we could feel the springs - neighborhood sometimes noisy, you can hear the music from the main street in the evening

Facility: the facility itself is nice, the rooms and the outside area like the pool. there are two big balconies, depending whether you prefer sun or not you can select. bed is comfortable and bathroom is super clean and comes with a rain shower! Location: the location was perfect for us as we stayed 10 days and all the nice beaches are having a similar distance to the apartment. you can easily reach the beaches on the west but also the beaches on the east of Platanias easily. Chania is also quite near. for those who want to explore the island it’s a super convenient base! other than that, restaurants and cafes are in walking distance!

parking can be difficult after 10pm but that was not an big issue if you consider the timing.

The apartment is located 100m from the beach, 100m to the other side you have the centre. What else can you ask for!? Apartment equipped with all necessities, all clean and modern. Pool area cleaned every day, towels also changed every day and they also have a cleaner (except Sunday), usually in the apartments one needs to clean herself :) We came 01am and the owner was there to greet us, extra points for that. Owner also arranged taxi pick up from the airport with just few hours of notice. Amazing place to eat-beach-sleep :)

Super clean, modern, everything working well, not a single complaint during our stay. Right between the beach and the Main Street with easy transport to other areas too. Owner and cleaners were so kind and helpful!

An oven would have been great, but every other kitchen facility was there.

Apartment was very clean and comfortable, close to the beach and also restaurants and night life. Taxi only 20 mins to Chania if you wish to go to explore. Really nice pool area.

Perfect location! A few steps to the sea. Close to shops and restaurants. A very atmospheric and modern apartment with a swimming pool. Cleanliness at the highest level. A very nice and kind host. Ms Basia deserves attention, without whom this place would not have a soul. Always present, helpful and caring for the smallest details. Such staff is a treasure:-)

Swimming pool was the same depth at 1.5m and I am a non swimmer and only 5 feet tall so unfortunately it was too deep for me

Lovely Luxury appartement in the heart of Platanias. Very good location, 2 minutes away from the main street and the beach. Appartement (apt. 22) is very clean, well equipped, 2 larges balcony (with partial sea view from the bedroom). Great swimming pool with sun-beds. Super internet connection and a large choice of international TV channels. Special thanks to Barbara, for all the amazing job she did during our week at the appartement. We had a great time at Athina Suites Platanias, we will definitely come back again !!!

There is a local family on the ground floor with children, and unfortunately they are pretty noisy specially early on the morning. wake up at 7:30 am everyday by the cries of the children and it can also be disturbing when we want to relax at the swimming-pool.

This accommodation offers the ideal conditions for a great vacation. The building is located 1 min walking from the beach (you can actually hear the sea from the room), and about the same distance from the main road, where you can find restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets, bus stop. Having a permanent access to the private building pool is also nice. The building is new and the apartments have a functional design, such that you feel comfortable even for longer stays. Everything is spotless clean thanks to Barbara, a really nice and friendly cleaning lady :).

I cannot think of something that I didn't like, everything was perfect!
