We didn't have hot water the first morning we were there. The host tried to find a solution, but we got tired of waiting and booked another place instead. The host said she understood and would refund us, but failed to mention that we had to cancel the reservation on Booking.com. We messaged Booking.com to ask for guidance but did not hear back until days later, when it was too late to cancel the booking on the web site. We've been pressing Booking.com for a refund, with several long phone calls and emails back and forth, explaining the situation, but they have not been helpful. We are pretty upset about this whole situation!!!

Very cosy and comfortable rooms, our apartment had a nice terrace. Good location close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The owner offered us car rental, which was very convenient, and adviced us on interesting destinations.

Jenny met us with a smile, very late at night. She was always available if we needed her, had a chat on the go when we saw each other but didn't interfere at all. Apartment was amazing (No 6), fabulous view and sound from the sea we were so near it, only 40 steps from the apartments... Irena, our cleaning lady was so efficient and so pleasant. Sometimes I find a lot of people forget to thank the cleaning people, so thank you Irena. Nisos Restaurant beside apartments was lovely, thank you to Dimitri and Nicos for the wonderful service. Stifado was so so good. (Apologies for incorrect spelling of names). Would highly recommend. Ann

Only thing we disliked was that there was a price for the sunbeds unlike most other places we have stayed in on the Greek islands.

The property was beautiful and situated very close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Our room was very nice and very clean. The staff was very nice and communicated very well.

We stayed at Jenny's apartment for 10 days. Is "absolutely perfect" enough to describe this place? What a wonderful stay! Jenny is without any doubt the best host I've ever meet or dealt with in my life (and I've traveled quite enough). She is kind, always smiling, ready to satisfy all your requests. She has great tips about local places (restaurants, beaches,etc). A real pleasure to talk to! The apartment went way beyond our expectations: perfectly clean (cleaning services every 3 days), a beautiful terrace that could also protect us from the heavy winds, flowers everywhere, lots of space, another small terrace connecting with the bedroom. Lovely design, all the necessary comforts! Also, it was located in a tourist village but far enough from the noise, so we always slept very well! Last but not least: located directly at 5m from the beach!!

Easy conversation with the host and the location of the venue is great. All was as expected and described, especially the very near reach to the beach was astonishing.

If you are with more people and wish to cook / using the kitchen - you have a bit "too puzzle" as the space isn't that huge, but charming of course :)

10/10, great place for vacation - this is our second year here. In center of platanias, withbtremendous sea view, super fresh (just renovated), clean and soooo comfy place!!!! It has cool design and makes you wanna stay forever. Also host - Jenny is super helpful, recommends you nice beach and helps a lot. Thank you Jenny, see you next time!

Beautiful appartment located right on the beach, with great tarrace. Very good restaurant just down, wonderful and always helpful owner- it is all you can wish for. Platanias is also a very nice resort and great place for exploring the beauty of western Crete.

Some minor broken bits around the house. Juicer didn’t work, bathroom door knob fell apart, shower door was missing a part of the padding making it a bit fragile when handling.

Everything. The apartment is very nicely designed and decorated, clean, spacey - just perfect. Jenny was the nicest person even and helped us with everything. The apartments are only few steps away from the beach and there is amazing beach restaurant Nisos - we had our dinners there almast every evening - eating delicious food, listening to sound of the sea and watching beautiful sunset - can you imagine anything better? Right, me neither. :) And the lovely people made it extra special. Thank you!

The owner is very hospitable, gave us the opportunity to switch to a free appartment with best view and for the same price. The cleaning lady is doing perfect job and the appartment with terrace was just pitch perfect. Next to the beach and restaurant. Highly recommended.

The hotel was perfect and location excellent in front of beach . The room was comfortable fullfilling our needs. Expecially the terrace was fantastic ( spacious and atmospheric).
