Location, prices, and easy. Owner was friendly and accommodating.

Didn't really dislike anything. It's just a small older facility. Everything worked as expected. Shower was very small difficult to soap up as it's getting washed off. The toilet runs periodically.

Room was very clean and comfy. The owner was very nice.

Location is great. A little noisy on the street but not a huge deal. Price is great. Free parking.

The hotel is very run down. It's got awesome vintage feel to it but they can do away with the dust and mold in the bathroom. The mattress did not have any protector on it and was stained and looks as if it's the same mattress from when they first opened. The room security is not much. There were tables and chairs stacked in front of this second door which may have led to the back of the hotel? I saw some other reviews that other rooms were being upgraded. If you are going to stay here, request an upgraded room so you can actually sleep and not be worried about the security of the room and cleanliness of the bed you are sleeping on. The parking lot needs some help and we even ended up leaving with a free nail in the tire!

Price for premium night (holiday/large event in town) was lower than other properties in Buena Vista (though could have stayed up to 25 miles away cheaper and much better room). It appears they are refurbishing about half the property at this time. Check in message and instructions were clear and contained a telephone number for assistance if needed. Place was reasonably clean, given the condition of building and furniture, though appeared only bathroom cleaned recently.

Cool retro property that has not been maintained for a very, very long time and is pretty awful. Television screen was smashed, microwave worked but was missing rotating glass insert. Furniture was from long ago and hideous. Lots of dust. Easy to break into room--doors and windows in poor condition. Road noise loud. Shower entry was too small even for a normal sized person. A carbon monoxide detector was just laying on a piece of furniture (doubt it was needed, you could see daylight around the damaged doors--plenty of airflow lol). Saw zero staff--check in was with a lock box code provided by email (luckily I checked email--this check in method was not made clear when reservation was made). Did not like that no person was available for any immediate issue. Reported the TV broken and did not receive a reply though I requested one.

Centrally located in town. Room was simple and very dated but clean. Contactless checkin was nice.

Parking lot was small and very dark. Decent amount of road noise.

There were snow squalls in Denver so we didn’t arrive until 4:30am. There was a lock box on our door for the key and we were provided the code. I was so tired when we left early in the morning I left my knapsack behind. The communication was awesome and I picked it up a few days later on the way back to Denver. Thanks for the great experience!

Location, staff, communication. It’s an older Motel but was very clean and served us well.

Great economical stay, walkable to good food and coffee.
