The breakfast was delicious. I thought it was a nice touch to have recipe cards for meals that you found particularly delicious! Jan and Lorraine were absolutely wonderful. It felt like visiting family.

The bed was a little uncomfortable. It was manageable, but not the best. We did what we could to make it easier to sleep on. However, this was honestly the only bad thing we can say about the place. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time!

I like that the Belle Aire Mansion is on the edge of town, away from the busyness of downtown Galena but still convenient.

Proprietors, room size, food, balcony. It's always nice to relax after a long drive.

The location was very quiet and the room was large. And our hostess, Lorraine, is lovely.

I didn't realize there were stairs only to our room and that was very difficult for my husband. There were homemade chocolate chip cookies in our room waiting for us but, unfortunately, they had been there a few days. It's probably better not to offer them if they aren't fresh. Also, apparently only decaf is served and rather weak. I'd suggest the hosts remove the conventional drip machines and invest in a couple Krups. There was a coffee machine upstairs also but it was always out of grounds. No such problem with a Krups. Breakfast, however, was lovely.

Lorraine and Jan were so sweet and welcoming.And Breakfast was faaaaabulous!

Great breakfast. Good atmosphere and friendly owners. Room was very comfortable.

Breakfast was fantastic both days, and the host always had snacks and drinks available as well. There was also a mini-fridge provided for our convenience.

The owners were amazing and were so welcoming! the breakfast was super yummy each day and we will be returning for sure!!

Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Lorraine told me she loves to bake and it shows!

The breakfast there were all homemade and absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was out of this world. They were such loving and caring owners!
