Everything was great except my tv didn't have a working remote and property manager tolds us what to do, it worked. Next night picture went on same tv. Other than the tv thing everything was great. 😀

We had an awesome stay at this property! It’s convenient to all of the best OBX restaurants and shops + the beach access is very close. We were pleasantly surprised at how child proofed the home was. The property could use a little TLC as much of the hardware was rusted and felt a little dangerous for small children. Overall this property is excellent if you’re spending your days on the beach or in the pool and just need somewhere to relax at nap time, sleep at night and shower :) thank you for hosting us and allowing us to make memories in your home!

My family went to OBX to spread the ashes of both parents. We needed a house big enough for 9 adults and 2 children and one dog. This house fit the bill. While its not fancy, it is practical, in the right location, clean and plenty of room for us all. Can't really complain since this trip wasn't really vacation for pleasure. Good price for this trip.

Had a girls weekend last weekend of September. Got great use of the hot tub as it ended up being a little rainy and windy weather wise! Some of us even braved the pool for a bit which was still open! House was very comfortable and we really liked most of the rooms had their own on-suite bathrooms. Great location just a block or two from the public beach access and from Swells’a Brewing and Mama Kwans (two great spots)! Thank you for an awesome stay!!

8 of us stayed here. Close to beach and other activities ( Wright Bros, Pea Island, etc) the living space was good to hang at night and everyone had good sleeping arrangements. If there were more singles , the configuration of bunk beds may have been an issue.

Highly recommend this property; it’s a short walk to the beach & near many restaurants/shops. We were a group of six friends & each wanted our own bedroom, so it worked out great for our group. Having the pool & elevator were bonuses & Mike was fantastic to deal with. He was very responsive regarding any issues we had & we would definitely stay at one of his properties again!

The listing is 100% accurate! The emails are super informative and outline everything expected; you can tell the management company runs a tight ship! Every time I messaged there was a reaponse in a very timely manner. The proximity to the beach was perfect. I would reccomend setting up at the beach at 8am to secure a good spot. It's very close to a few hotels, but the beach wasnt everly crowded. Overall the whole family had an amazing time, made good use of the pool, and enjoyed every moment!

The house was great! Total of 3 families!! The house was spacious enough that we all had a good amount of space and never felt like we were on top of one another. Mike is a very responsive owner, and really easy to work with. The house is very well maintained and clean, furniture and beds were very comfortable. The only thing that even made me nervous about staying at the house was having the kids bunk area on the 1st floor and the main master on the 3rd floor, which turned out to be great!! There is an additional lock on the sliding door leading to the pool area that is a child proof lock. It actually turned out to be great having a game/living room area for kids to play! I would definitely book this house the next time we go to OBX. Great for multiple families with kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. There were 7 of us — plenty of room for all of us. House was a short walk to the beach. It was great having an elevator, allowing us to carry our groceries and heavy items. Overall, we would definitely rent again.

everything was as advertised. from the start when i booked the interaction with the owner was great. anytime i text him he responded promptly and answered any question i had. i would definitely book with him again. the house was clean and was more than enough for us. 12 adults. 6 couples. kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. beds were comfortable. everything was within walking distance. overall there was not 1 person who was not satisfied. love outer banks.

While the house appears nice and the communication with the owner seems good, you will NOT be made aware that you are being watched! There are cameras set up at the neighbors house and your every move outside in the back by the pool is videoed!! CREEPY!! Just be aware if you want to sunbathe or play/sit out on the decks of the house that he is watching!!!
Very sad actually because the house was clean and had great amenities. Once we found out that we were being watched 24/7 we felt VERY uncomfortable for the rest of our stay and had to close the blinds and did not go back out by the pool the rest of our stay.
Would NOT recommend anyone to stay in this house!

This property was great for our family vacation including four difference families and four children! The walk to the beach was easy and the property is walkable to several restaurants and ice cream. The owner was responsive. Kitchen was equipped and house was clean. Would recommend!

Stayed for a long weekend at the end of September. Because the house was empty we were able to check in early. Very spacious house with lots of levels and decks. Elevator was a great asset when transporting luggage and food to upper floors. Maintenance was the biggest issue. The rugs were dirty and stained and the steps in particular need a good vacuuming and cleaning. All of the bathrooms needed a proper cleaning as the floors was covered with hair. Most of the screens were torn as well so we were unable to open the windows or sliding doors. Many light switches and outlets did not function. Also the kitchen could use some new pots and pans. Would we stay there again? Depends how well it gets cleaned and repaired.

Your property & location to the beach access worked out well for us while down for a family wedding. Mike is extremely attentive answering any/all questions. Having the hot tub was a bonus since the pool temp was too cold to enjoy while there. The spacious dining/kitchen/living/deck open 3rd floor plan was definitely a family favorite! We appreciated having clean sheets w bed size marked on plastic bags. Since we all were driving to the outer banks we did not rent towels. However, I wish I remembered to bring bathmats for safety. Creating a master list of general bed, bath, kitchen supplies beforehand was a Godsend! Thankfully, enough family to keep an eye on the young children since the baby gates weren't functioning as we hoped. One day we hope rent this property again since it accommodated our growing family. thank you Mike

House was very clean and ready on arrival- we paid for early check in and it was ready at 1pm for us. Other than a few of the mattress pads/mattresses being kind of old everything was very satisfactory! Kitchen extremely well stocked!! We cooked big dinners every night except one! Pool was clean. Very short walk to the beach. Great location for stores, restaurants, etc-some within walking distance! Owner very responsive to any questions. Really enjoyed this trip and truly hope to be back soon! Highly recommend this property!

Family vacation!
The property was in a great location, the pool and beach were wonderful and the communication with the manager was wonderful.
We decided to bring our own towels (not included in the price of the stay). One thing we wished we would have known about though was the fact that there were no bath mats (which were pictured in the photos). As a 9 month pregnant woman with young children, it would have been nice to have those just for stability issues getting in and out of the showers and tubs.
Other than that, the house was wonderful and had all the amenities we needed - especially in the kitchen which was more than fully stocked with dishes, pans, and cookware.

Large vacation home with Pool and hot tub
Delightful stay. Spacious rooms. Location ideal to walk to beach restaurants and activities. Love the tie dye shop one block away. All our grandchildren really enjoyed the make your own tie dye tshirt. Bangers 3 blocks away has delicious pimento cheese friend pickle cheeseburgers. Food reasonably priced. House has bed sheets included. Must bring or rent bath towels. Conveniently located to outlet mall Wrights Brothers museum putt putt golf a short drive to Duck a quaint town on coastline and the best activity in Corolla..wild horse adventures..ride a Hummer and see the wild horses. AMAZING..A thank you to the owner for his help in making our stay so enjoyable. His housekeeping staff found my granddaughters purse she left behind and he mailed it back to us free of charge. We are grateful!!

Minor discrepancies but overall great stay
The house is so spacious and clean! Had everything we needed plus some. Owner quickly responded to any questions I had. Very short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Met the next door neighbor who was so sweet and polite. Only issues were the couch in living area has no cushion left so the ones with back issues could not sit on it and we had to bring over chairs for them. Hot tub is leaking so we had to fill it up twice during our stay and the pool guy came in the house while we were away shopping and closed down the pool on our 2nd day of our stay which I hated for my kids bc that was part of my search criteria for them. We had a couple days that were close to 80 so the pool would’ve been nice to have. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and have recommended the house to others! We will back! Thank you so much

Amazing vacation
Before the stay Mike was very responsive to any questions that I had. When we arrived the house was very clean and perfectly organized. The pool and the hot tub were at the perfect temperature and were ready for the weekend. We opted to get linens and towels since most of us had to fly down and everything was ready and waiting. I had a couple questions throughout the stay and he wrote back immediately and was very helpful. We had an amazing stay. My friends and I would definitely rent from him again in future.

Loved our first vacation with family since quarantine
We had 12 people total. 9 adults and 3 kids. This property fit us perfectly. The listing says bring your own towels, and we brought bath/swim towels, but didn’t even think about hand towels/dish towels for the bathrooms and kitchen. Bring hand soap for the bathrooms. We spend more time indoors than we wanted because of a rainy forecast, and couch in the main living space could use an upgrade. Other than that, this was a great property for our stay!

Perfect place!
The house was perfect for our girls weekend away. The house, pool and hot tub were clean. A perfect location, very quick walk to the beach and several restaurants. My only complaint was the weather- but the house provided plenty of room and amenities so we could still enjoy our weekend even though the bad weather prevented us from enjoying the beach. I will definitely stay here for future visits. Thank you guys for a wonderful home!

Frustrating and smelly.
Both fold out beds were dirty, stained, and full of sand and crumbs. We had to purchase an air mattress. There were several times that the septic tank overflowed. Property management told us that someone came to check it, but the problem persisted. We were unable to enjoy the pool and hot tub due to the smell. A property that can sleep 12 people should have a septic system that can support that many people.

Perfect location and setup
Our group of 7 adults (3couples and 1 single) were able to spread out and enjoy time alone as well as with each other. The location made it seem we walked out the door and were on the beach. Our host was very responsive to questions throughout the entire process, from initial renting through checkout. Would highly recommend this property.

OBX Getaway
Overall, this house was great. It was spacious and having 4 master bedrooms is very convenient for a family of adults who value their space! The cleanliness upon arrival was fantastic and very encouraging in the time we are in. After a hiccup the first night with linens, the rest of our trip was incident free! The beach access is close, but there are stairs. We chose this house because of the elevator as we have a parent that stairs are difficult for and that was a lifesaver. There are hotels right there so the beach was definitely a more crowded area, but the upside of that is that there were lifeguards very attentive to the area.
