The rooms, common spaces and courtyard were beautiful and very clean. The complimentary breakfast every morning was also great.

I was not informed that my reservation had been shortened by a day because the room had been double booked until the day before I would have to find new arrangements.

Super beautiful hotel with a wonderful green garden where the delicious breakfast is served. The room was huge, nicely decorated and spotless clean. Free water and coffee are available all day long. The location is perfect, only a short walk away from the centre.

We had our own bathroom but it was across the hallway.

I had a lovely surprise when I arrived here after a long and uncomfortable 5 hours on a publicj bus from the Mexican Border. It was dark and the bus station, muddy and dark, pot holed and uninviting is not the most salubrious place to make your grand advent into Quetzaltenango. So a taxi was inevitable and to be frank, vital for getting to this place. The room was larger than I had anticipated, very comfortable, homely and secure. A decent size bathroom was part of the deal, and a door into the central garden meant that I could sit outside in the evening. It felt as if I were the only guest. For this, Guatemala’s second city, this hotel is a one-off find. There is coffee available whenever you fancy a cup and another open area within the building complex. Breakfast is very modest and disappointing and dampened the otherwise really positive vibe I was having about this place. There are a couple of bars and places to eat in the square a few minutes away. To get there, exit hotel right, take the next left and walk down til you reach the square with its old and dilapidated cathedral.

No hot water. We brought bath & skin care products to create our own Spa experience but could not use shower because there was only cold water.

Wonderful place! Exceed my expectations, absolutely I will be back to this place and I will recommend.
