This is truly a special place that we would book again anytime and that I can only highly recommend for a stay in Santillana region. A villa designed for 5 separate apartments of different size within 600 m walking distance to Santilllana´s historic town center. Quiet location with own gate, drive way and secure parking in front of the villa. Nice and spacious garden around, with table and parasol. The house and rooms were build/refurbished in the last 3 years by Mauro, who is an truly sympathetic and heavily engaged host. Never came across a host so helpful and caring before. TOP. We booked a small apartment for 2, but with the veranda and the garden is was perfectly enough space for us. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you need (and Mauro would get you anything you might be missing). Nice (rustrical/landhouse/retro) style. Kitchen, fridge, microwave, TV, bathroom with shower and toilet. Everything in very good state. Fresh towels were brought to us after a couple of days by default. Access to the property by key code, keys provided in safe place allowing for flexibility with regard to arrival time and Mauro came to the property to welcome us and introduce us to everything we needed to know and beyond. We had a gorgeous 2 week stay. We happened to have a little unforeseen problem during our stay and Mauro was more than helpful. Thank you ever so much! Hope, to have the chance to be back soon. Santillana is a very nice town in this region with a couple of nice beaches close by and close to Santander, excellent for shopping and tapas bars.

What we disliked is that we had to leave this little paradise. Truly recommended TOP, TOP, TOP place for a wonderful vacation.

Very pretty cosy apartment and lovely out door spaces. . Mouro was there to greet us and show us around. Quiet location. Everything worked. Would happily recommend.

Suggest a kettle for making tea!

Lovely apartment in a lovely house at the end of a rural lane just outside of Santillana. Great atmosphere, wonderful decoration think Ibiza meets Provence. Great patio to enjoy an aperitif even in November. Very comfortable bed, shower with good water pressure, working heating and great working Wifi(needed during our “workation”). Our host Mauro had a lot of good suggestions for restaurants and visits in the area, he was always available via app. The area is very quiet, it takes around 8 minutes down hill to walk (or a minute by car)to the parking at the entrance of the town. There is a small supermarket there and there is a bakery in Santillana proper.

Would love a kettle for making tea

Extremely lovingly and beautifully renovated house in the middle of a green, well-kept garden. Mauro is a very friendly host, who provides his guests, if desired, with many suggestions and information. Especially important: Villa Inocencia is situated a little outside, but still within walking distance of the historic centre of Santillana del Mar, so it is perfectly quiet and away from the tourist hustle and bustle.

The kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, knives, pots and pans, everything you need for cooking and enjoying your food and wine, were quite cheap and rudimentary utensils, strange in an otherwise so lovingly and luxuriously furnished apartment. This has been saved in the wrong place, but can, as a suggestion, be fixed in the twinkling of an eye.
