The location of this home was absolutely perfect. It made it so easy to enjoy the beach at any given moment and walk to several places nearby. Overall we had a great experience though coming from Texas, we do wished the home would have had more fans, especially in the rooms since it was rather warm making it difficult to get a good nights rest. We knew there was no AC but then fans provided (even with windows open) were not enough to cool down. We didn't have any issues with the home and when I had questions for mgmt, they responded right away.

We had a great experience going through RNR for our Lakeland village Tahoe unit. Close to the beach within walking distance to Riva Grill and boat rental area. Next to all the stores you would need for a week long vacation. The unit was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Fit our group perfect had all the kitchen utensils you would need to make a meal great view. Would definitely rent this unit again.

My 2 sons there wives granddaughter my sister and myself celebrated my wife of 56 years passing to her new life. The weather was unbelievable. Lake was FLAT for the most part. Aurora Borealis was beautiful as seen from the Lake in front of your house. I cann't find away to seed you a picture but it was beautiful. We have 4 different time shares at South Lake so we know how blessed the weather was for us. Thank you for a well kept place on the lake. Doug PS wall plugs are hard to keep plugged in. Three of our timeshares are at the Beachcomber around the corner.

Planned a family pre-thanksgiving weekend. Home was perfect in size and set up. Property managers were very responsive to every issue. We had a roof leak and they were very accessible and understanding. communication during the stay was awesome. Unfortunately the beds were so hard my husband and I had no sleep for 4 nights and our bodies were destroyed. The HVAC system was so loud, ear plugs did not help the dampen the disruption (another factor in our lack of sleep) So over all, the unit is an amazing destination- especially for summer months - the property management is great. Just bring a mattress topper;-)

We had an amazing time and loved the location of our lakeview condo. Folks came from as far as Cincinnati, OH and 1/2 of our group had not been to Tahoe. They were totally mesmerized by the Big Blue. We were able to get awesome photos of our sunsets and the Lake; we walked to and took advantage of the nearby restaurants w their fantastic views - went to both Riva Grill and Artemis Lakefront Cafe. Yummy food and great drinks too. We grabbed the shuttle to Zephyr Cove for the MS Dixie lake cruise. And yes, went to the casinos too. We bbq'd at the condo, gathered for breakfast and game nights. It really was a perfect setup for the 7 of us. Our reunion was that much better staying at your condo. And tku so much for your attentive, great customer service. I was never at a loss to what was expected of us, as guests, or felt any hesitation to seek assistance. Tku for our wonderful reunion. Yes, we'd love to gather again at Lakeland Village.

RnR Vacation Rentals South Lake Tahoe did not deliver what they advertised. Rental #603, Lakeland Village We did not get what we paid for. We expected what was advertised and that is not what we received for $831 a day!We have been traveling for over 15 years including overseas and this is by far the worst lodging we have ever stayed in.1. Non-working kitchen refrigerator. We lost perishables we bought for the stay.2. A refrigerator was in the living room next to the couch, (we did not understand why?) until discovered it was to replace the non-working one in the kitchen. Both refrigerators were very dirty.3. Wi-Fi, internet connection and cable TV were not working the entire stay (5 days). RnR blamed weather as cause (however, there was sun/clouds).4. Wi-Fi was connected to the door lock, we didn't know if we would be able to leave the unit without worrying if we could lock it or get back in.5. High touch areas were extremely dirty, even though they specify they take four hours to clean each rental.6. Toilet in master bedroom was not anchored down to floor. Moved when you sat and stood up.7. Plates were very old, cracked and chipped. Hazard to use.8. Skylight was leaking water while we were playing board games in the living room (near fireplace and over the center coffee table). 9. Safety hazards. Torn carpet throughout (tripping) and carpet strip nail protruding out.10. Chairs/couches were so old and worn, you were literally sitting on the springs. 11. Bathroom was not cleaned and blow dryer not working. Even though they mentioned they would have working ones. We had to go buy one.12. There are mirrors (size of a wall) in the rental to make the advertised online pictures of the living room look larger than it real is.13. The entire rental is rundown.The only thing good about this place was that it is near t

The breathtaking views of the beach and the lake from the family room and the third-floor loft were truly unforgettable. The location was exceptional, with convenient amenities such as a CVS and Safeway within easy walking distance. Notably, there were also options for boat rentals and parasailing just a short stroll away.The property itself was generously spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of 10. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals from breakfast to dinner effortlessly. While the lake provided ample enjoyment, the bonus of a nearby pool and a conveniently located hot tub added to our overall experience. Moreover, charming fireplaces nearby created a cozy ambiance, especially in the cooler evenings.The house layout was ideal for hosting and entertaining, and we found the rental company to be consistently helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The property was as described on website. Well appointed and met our needs. Good location for ski mountain access. Only negative is the heater was extremely loud and roared 24/7 regardless of thermostat setting. If you are sensitive to noise (as I am), would not recommend this property as sleeping was impossible for those in rooms close to heater. If you are not noise sensitive, it's a really nice property.

The house is roomy for families get together. Master bedroom downstairs is very loud when heater is on. One bedroom on second floor has a hard mattress and not very comfortable to sleep in. Linens had hair in most beds. We had to wash bedding before getting into beds. No dryer sheets available and bedding were very static. A cluster of hairs was on the wall of one bathroom. We love the location and the area but not the cleanliness of the house.

The property itself was beautiful, but for the amount I paid, I would expect that the numerous small things I encountered to have been fixed. First of the refrigerator did not work so I had to bring ice from outside to keep it cold. The freezer also smelled like someone had kept fish inside at some point. Additionally, they were two leaks from the roof that caused us to have to put pans down to catch the water dripping. A nice property, but overall I was a little disappointed in it’s condition.

Staying at Lakeland Village is awesome, it’s centrally located and walking distance to stores and restaurants. Unit 603 is very close the beach which was very convenient for the children. The unit was clean and ready to go at 4:00pm. We did have a a smoke alarm start to chirp, we called RNR and a staff member changed the batteries with in a couple hours. We were very satisfied, and already booked our stay for next year.

My family and I spent a week here. We loved the location. Being able to wake up and eat breakfast while looking at the lake was very relaxing. The accommodations were nice. The downstairs bedroom is very spacious and was nice for my mom since she couldn’t go up and down the stairs. The only issue was with her bathroom. The smoke alarm, located inside the bathroom, would go off if there was too much steam from a shower. That happened at times even with the fan on. I do agree with other reviewers that the mattresses could be replaced but all of us were able to get some sleep so it was fine. My suggestion is that the toilets (or at least the one on the 2nd floor) needs to be replaced to one that is more water efficient. It really wastes so much water, especially if it doesn’t flush right the first time. All in all, it is a wonderful place to stay and we would all do it again. Any issue we had in the beginning was quickly remedied by the awesome customer service from the property management team. It’s a great location. We were able to walk to so many places in the area. The beach is great and easily accessible. We even got to play tennis! I recommend this location.

My family and I spent a week here. We loved the location. Being able to wake up and eat breakfast while looking at the lake was very relaxing. The accommodations were nice. The downstairs bedroom is very spacious and was nice for my mom since she couldn’t go up and down the stairs. The only issue was with her bathroom. The heater makes a lot of noise and doesn't get hot enough. The terrace could not be used because the large blocks of ice were not removed.
One of the closets had no door, they put curtains. In general the cabin was dirty with cobwebs everywhere and the internet did not work well.
For what they charge this cabin is not worth it, the only nice thing is the partial views of the lake.

Great location, but overpriced
Summary: Great location, very close to the beach. Dirty and poorly maintained. Overpriced for what you get.
Long version: we stayed in this unit for a week in August. The location is great and it's actually closer to the water than we expected. It's a good size, with lots of beds for family and kids.
The downside is that the property is dated and not very well maintained. There was heavy dust coating the fans, and grubby dirt marks on the walls, etc.
The beds are old and uncomfortable, with springy mattresses. (I'll never understand why so many rental units can't just invest in some decent mattresses. It makes such a huge difference in your stay).
There is no AC or ceiling fans, and there are large skylights with no shades in the ceiling. This means that the condo heats up quickly during the day, and then takes hours to cool down at night.
We were there for a week, and the trash bin filled up quickly. The handbook for the unit said that the trash would be collected once a week. After the 6th day I emailed the management and they said that there is actually no collection and they asked us to drive the trash to the dumpster ourselves. There were also strict instructions that all trash cans had to be emptied by us on our last day before checking out at 10am.
Taking out our own trash isn't a huge deal, but when I'm paying thousands of dollars per week to stay somewhere, I expect basic things like trash to be taken care of.
We enjoyed our stay overall, but really what you're paying for is the proximity to the water.
If this place was cleaned up a bit and modernized, it would be fantastic, but as is, it's overpriced.

Good, but needs TLC
Great location...On the lake and near casinos, restaurants, and shopping!!!!
However, inside was dated and could use some upgrades and maintenance. Numerous stains on the carpets, cracked mirrors, wobbly unstable bed frames (while sitting at the foot of the bed, the head of the bed elevated and came off the frame), loose closet doors, broken window treatments, furniture was odd, mismatched, old, and uncomfortable. Very 70's-80's on appliances and fixtures. I would say it was very clean, but it appeared dingy because of the garage sale decor.

Perfect spot
Very close to the lake. Kids had a wonderful time in the lake. We did have to call the property manager to come get our trash, but they responded immediately. Very spacious!

This place was just what we were looking for! We split the place with two other families (6 kids 5 adults total) and had a blast! There was enough room for the kids to run around and so close to the lake that it made it super convenient for the littles to all go to the lake in the morning or play on the sand while adults sat on the back porch to watch :-)

The views from this home are exceptional and the home is in very close proximity to the lake. The home is very comfortable if you are not needing upscale. The home was very clean and provided all that my family needed for a quality stay. We will definitely visit again in the future as Lake Tahoe is amazing as is RNR! RNR customer service is extremely professional.
