Host, an older gentleman, was welcoming and helpful.

This accommodation is an old, private flat. it was totally crowded with personal belongings. Even in the bedroom and bathroom. Every spare inch is covered with furniture or things. It is an extremely noisy living environment from other private flats around, till very late at night. There was late night banging going on as if someone was building something directly across. Others threw glas bottles into a container making them burst noisily. The floors were very unclean. There were hairs everywhere, including curly ones. We had to sweep the bathroom floor to feel able to walk in there. It made us feel very uncomfortable. We did not use the shower hose in the bath tub. The toilet takes ages to clean out the basin and one has to wait very long for the water to fill up in order to flush again. Not a nice situation if you need to get to the airport. The old, rickety bed has an extremely old and very uncomfortable mattress, to make it worse there were buttons on the sleeping surface digging into the skin. The mattress is hard as a board and the whole bed frame wobbles around noisily if one moves or turns in bed. The pillow is thick and hard like a wooden block. I did not sleep at all the whole night and was worn out in the morning. My partner slept tossing and turning from the discomfort. There is no kitchenette to wash the cup of coffee, it had to be done in the small bathroom basin. Anyway, a very unfortunate choice and far too expensive for what is on offer. We really regret our choice. We feel some major effort needs to be put into this un-quaint 50's flat getting it suitable for renting out.

Practically is a full flat with all the things you might need available for you. it is located in a quiet building, calm surrounding and pretty close to the train station as well. Big pluses to mention, the coffee machine prepares a great coffee and very responsive and attentive owner

I would say that for the price, and the opportunities around, it’s a fair value for money, so you pay for what you get. Don’t expect 5 star hotel, but instead a fully equipped apartment.

The best host I ever had! He welcome us immediately after we arrived (we arrived a bit earlier than planned) Eugenio gave us tips and recommendations what do to and where to go, he also gave us a ride to the car rent agency and he waited to see if everything goes well with the car agent. I would say he is exceptional! The apartment was fully equipped and clean, a lot of books and antique furniture inside! Very cozy place, we love it. Strongly recommend to visit The Architect! :)

You can't see/do much in Palese but there is a train station very close from the flat so you can easily catch a train and go to Polignano or Monopoli.

The apartment was bigger than we expected and living there for a week in a group of 5 people was comfortable, which is hard to achieve. But the best thing was the contact with a host, who was really caring all the time. I do recommend booking this place!

The only minus was localization. It was quite far from the centtre of Bari, however the whole coast is well communicated.

Absolute pleasure staying here! Beautiful and cosy accommodation, the host was extremely friendly and lovely, even went out of his way to pick me up as I missed my bus. Everything was perfect, highly recommended!

The apartment is in a very convenient location to explore the area. Is is big and has all the necessary facilities. The owner is very nice.

The location is not far from the airport. The furnishing is cozy. The owner is very friendly and helpful with the apartemant and the surroundings. The apartemant is clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants and a shop and a bakery in walk distance. The train station is not far and it takes only 1,10EUR to go Bari centrum.

The owner is super friendly. The location is just perfect! (close to airport and close to Train station that only takes 1.1€ to go bari central in 10 mins) The place is super clean!! We enjoyed our stay thank you.

Nth about the place but the cabs might ask for more money to reach the place. The fixed amount is 15€ from airport :)

We had all we needed at the apartment ,location near by great bakery called Da Luciano,also the train station palese is near by. The apartment is near from the sea. Eugenio is very good host ,makes sure you have everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The place is very unique , worth to stay!

I personally didnt like the spring bed ,but some people don't mind.

Eugenio is absolutelly one of the greatest hosts that we have ever met. Despite being very busy that evening, he warmly welcomed us in front of his unique appartment and our Italian fairy tale began. He gave us an exceptional oportunity to feel the vibe of Puglia - he invited us to the charming musicial event on the sea side. The appartment is a reflection of a great human with a sophisticated feeling for the society and culture.

Eugenio is a great host. He waited for us until our late arrival and made the breakfast for us despite the next day we had to leave very early. He also gave us great tips for nearby restaurants and for sightseeing in Bari and in Puglia. The flat has a comfortable double bedroom and a nice bathroom with bath. Highly recommended.

Exceptional host, whose passion for historical Puglia was contagious; the fact that his rental is in fact a museum of the region conveyed his commitment to saving and promoting its unique cultural importance—bravo!
