If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to everything, on the water(canal) and has tons of activities this is the place for you! Inside it isn't much, just serviceable with a fully stocked kitchen, sleeping for 6 on some nice bamboo(but still hard) mattresses, and an awkward layout, but it has a huge patio, a dock for fishing,( we caught a sting ray, an eel, and 3 catfish) a great breeze, and tons of activities like volleyball, tennis, golf, shuffleboard, pool,(indoor and outdoor) shuffleboard, and a craft room. It is a gated community so we felt safe and it was really quiet. The only way to get there is over the only swing bridge in Texas which can cause some traffic delays but if you are just there to sleep and sit outside to enjoy the view and activities it is a great place.

The place didn't get cleaned, I called it got cleaned. Two ceilings fans didn't work they got replaced. The lock on door would open with finger nail. That got replaced. Them the garbage disposal backed up. Two days before we left the disposal just quite working , I did nothing about it. The window are very dirty. Dryer take about 2 hours per load of wash that is a normal load. The screen door need the screen replaced but they just pulled it tight and put the screen stop in. Then the door didn't work well at all. The bed are just adequate, nothing to talk about.

The location is good. Nice patio to sit on but don’t plan to fish as they don’t come up in the canal much. The house needs updating but is adequate. Was not clean before our arrival. Dirty towels hanging in bathrooms, dirty sinks, counters, floors, showers. Trash in every room and on porch. Unacceptable and the only solution from Vacasa was to send clean towels and sheets and refund cleaning fee. Definitely not good customer service.

A Very Nice Relaxing Place
The house was neat as a pin upon arrival. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. Of course the deck overlooking the waterway is an excellent place to relax. Items needed for cooking, entertainment and easy living are present. A great place to kick back and relax!

Our first Vacasa experience
The property was great. We were only going to be there 3 days but they were wonderful days. We all had comfortable beds. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The porch was fantastic.

Nice location, cleaning co
Leaking fridge flooded half the home. Broken sink handle, mouse droppings on towels, and a note to load the dishwasher. There were some dishwasher pods provided, but unfortunately it must have been a joke because there was no dish washer lol.

Great home on the water
Our family loved having space to enjoy together - plenty of living space for dining and hanging out. It's so close to the things to do in Port Isabel, and just a drive over the bridge to get to South Padre.

Great , cozy and family oriented Stay
I loved the patio outside, the nice breeze, and my coffee while watching the boats pass by. Although just a few things need some remodeling. But other than very nice unit to stay over if taking your kids. It’s a waterfront property where you and your kids can enjoy fishing. I would definitely come back and stay here.

The dock fishing right behind the home and the large deck. The master bed was too hard and refrigerator was too close to the wall opposite it. Hard to get to 2nd bedroom but overall it was a relaxing getaway. Will come again and try another home.

Disappointed
Started out by asking management a question before our stay. No answer was ever received. Check-in time is 4 PM. The Welcome Center closes at 5 PM. Only a 1 hour window for checkin. Bad. Arrived at the property and air conditioner is substandard for residence. It was 84 degrees inside on our arrival. Took the unit 7 hours to lower temp only 4 degrees. There were ants all over the kitchen counter. Opened the utensil drawer and a roach crawled out. All cooking utensils are old, worn and stained and require replacement. Only good thing I can say about the trip was the on-premise management people were very good, Very sympathetic to our issues and they extended every effort to fix what was wrong.

Great location, but
The house was in the perfect location for a variety of things . But there is a sugar ant problem because they were everywhere. We did our best to keep minimal food exposed. The refrigerator was over bleached which made anything we kept in it taste off. Some of the kitchen cupboards had dead bugs so it was obvious there was an attempt to exterminate. It could use a good airing out as it smelled musty throughout the place.

Port Isabel stay
Pretty nice little place. It was cozy for our small family of 3. The dock has even been rebuilt and is nicer than the one seen in the photos. Great spot for bringing our kayaks and kayaking out into the bay for some fishing! I have no complaints.

My favorite place to be
This house was perfect for us. We have stayed at Long Island Village for a couple of years for a winter get away. The house is within walking distance of the activity center, pool and golf course. It had plenty of room when we had guests. The outside covered deck was our favorite spot for morning coffee and our evening meal.

Winter Texans
We love Long Island Village. This home is in a perfect location. Close to the rec center, pools and hot tub. Vacasa was so easy to work with and had a local contact for us when we got here. The house was clean, roomy and perfect for us.

Expedia DID NOT mention that there was an $80.00 HOA fee ON TOP of all the other costs. This house is managed by VaCasa, not expedia. There is a gate and you have to pay an additional 80.00 to get a key card for entry and to park. This is not explained on the expedia site.

Nice place
We loved the location and it was reasonably priced. The Vacasa personnel were fantastic to work with, both on the phone and in person. Maria was super nice and the folks on the phone in Oregon were also sweet. I would go back here and would recommend Vacasa!

Great place to relax!
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for a week and loved how close we were to everything. It really felt like we were going home after activities. Our family fondly named it "the beach house". We will definitely be back to stay again. We had no need for additional help, but Maria had a few lights on for us when we arrived (she knew we were coming in late), and she called me before we arrived to see if we had any questions. Everything was functional and in good working order. Cant wait to go back again.
