bij binnenkomst sterke insecticide lucht. volgende morgen waren we er duizelig van. mierenplaag; één wc was stuk; andere douche liep niet goed door. ook rioollucht. alles is gedateerd en niet goed onderhouden. niet schoon. Op onze e-mail met de vraag naar assistentie is niet gereageerd.

It was clean, a good size, good location Facilities are good.

Beach towels, pool towels could be helpful but maybe we missed the towels by the pool. Otherwise it was great

For those who are in love with Ferragudo in the Algarve, this villa gives you an easy blend of beach, old town, good restaurants and site pool all at your convenience - quietly busy. Transport to other local towns and villages is easy.

Better instructions on how to locate the villa within the resort. what3words gives: happen.commentator.backing which may help you or your taxi driver. To give 10/10 some attention to details should be remedied eg better fitted sheets on main bed, fix the broken chairs in garden, replace some of the kitchen pans.

nothing the whole experience was awful.

the pictures on booking.com do not look anything like the place in it’s current condition.we were not told the onsite bar / restaurant would closed for the duration of our stay. we couldn’t even find 3 sun beds that were in a clean usable condition, the whole pool area is looking very dirty and very tired. The only staff we saw briefly didn’t know the Wi-Fi code so no internet. reception was closed the whole time and our continuous phone calls to the reception number were never answered and booking.com didn’t respond to any of our messages, so we had no way of resolving any of our issues. Due to all of the above problems and many more we decided to move to another resort at our own expense, we didn’t even stay 1 nights. there was a sign on the restaurant wall saying that they were not open until 2nd June 2023, why were we not told this. We found a beautiful hotel 3 mins away that the same price as this so do your research before you book this place. we’ve been home 2 days now and still haven’t heard anything from this place or booking.com so we can only assume they don’t care as they’ve both had there money and we are completely out of pocket.

Nicely decorated, good sized for two of us, could have easily fitted in our grown boys if we had bought them! Loved the balcony and outside area. Although in a street of similar villas it felt private and quiet. 2 mins from the beach, which is clean and on the river so safe to swim in, sheltered from the waves. Well maintained and very clean villa.

We choose the double bed as it was comfy and the room was lighter. The larger bed seemed very hard. That was the only thing as it really was a lovely villa.

Very comfortable apartment in an interesting location.

The property was well turned out, comfortable, bright, and had a view over to the castle on the closest beach and in the distance you could see the sea. The location was ideal, mid way between the town and the Praia Grande beach where we enjoyed a sunset drink at Escondidinho most evenings. You enter at the top floor which is the living/dining room that goes through to a balcony that overlooks to the castle. The kitchen is large. There is a table with 2 chairs on the balcony where we had breakfast. If it was a larger group I guess this might be a problem but the dining table inside sits 6. You then go downstairs to the two bedrooms, each of which has an outside enclosed terrace. The 'back' bedroom terrace has chairs and plants, the 'front' bedroom terrace is a bit shaded. There are two bathrooms with excellent water pressure. The parking is technically 'on street' but there is a kind of residents' parking area. There is a great cliff top walk which you can start from the Praia de Molhe by the breakwater

A few more cooking utensils would be nice, not that we cooked at home much
