The property is as advertised. It was an absolutely fantastic place to get together with my family. Some of the most beautiful Blue Crabs I have ever seen caught right off the dock. 5 stars all the way. Only on drawback to anything was the grill but we figured that out too. The holders to the flavor bars have rusted out and are gone so the bars sit on the flame keeping the grill from getting hot, made a small adjustment making the flavor bars slightly caddie corner to keep them above the flame, and boom hot grill and easy cooking!!

The house was bigger than it looked online and so nice. The beds were very comfy and cozy. The views were amazing. The pool was super enjoyable for everyone. We had my cousins over several times during our stay and they were also amazed by this vacation home. Jackie and Bob were really friendly, easy to get a hold of and were there to meet us upon arrival to show us around and show us how some things worked including the induction stove top. Not a lot of places to eat that were really close buy there was a few not that far away including the Lazy Gator which is a must if you stay at this home. Overall we had a great time at this home and will definitely be back.

This amazing property is a slice of heaven! Everything you need at your fingertips! From relaxing to fishing off the pier to swimming in the pool, our family enjoyed every moment! If you are a fisherman, we caught sting ray, shark, snapper, catfish, lady fish, and a few other species! Dolphin almost everyday! Highly recommend for family fun!! The owners were amazing and very welcoming!

This house had a beautiful peaceful location . Views were amazing . Hosts were so kind and friendly and accommodating . We would recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful restful trip . Beds were comfy and kitchen stocked with everything imaginable . Well worth the money will be staying here again hopefully . We loved it .four days weren’t long enough . God bless

I sadly lost my Mother 2 days before this trip which had been booked for a while. What an amazing, soul soothing property!!!!!!! I had no idea how amazing this home would be absolute paradise, a break from these hectic lives we lead daily. The Owners Absolutely Amazing Souls, Down right Amazing opportunity to meet and share this property with my family during this time of mourning. Thank You So Much Well See You Next Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very relaxing in a gorgeous home. Loved all the extra dishes for entertaining. Didn't lack for anything. We loved staying out on the lanai and watching the beautiful sunrises. Wonderful time!

It’s hard to know where to start. We spent a month with friends at Bob and Jackie's riverside home. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with every imaginable appliance with plenty of cookware and supplies. The heated pool and hot tub were an exquisite treat every day, the peaceful setting on the river was relaxing, and everything is there for a fabulous vacation at home away from home. Did I mention regular dolphin sightings from the living room and lanai? Or, seeing sunrise colors across the sky while working at the desk in the master bedroom? To top it off, communication with Bob and Jackie was seamless – they were always available to help with information on area activities and questions about the numerous amenities their home offers. Throughout the month, several friends visited for long weekends, and we created countless memories cooking out by the pool, watching movies, and playing board games at the large dining room table. Of note is a nearby private community (Riverside) with a golf club and restaurant - both available to the public. There are pickleball courts at Apollo Beach (about 20 minutes away) and a fitness center within about 20 minutes (WORX) that we joined for the month. We recommend Bob and Jackie’s home for family reunions, groups of friends, sibling trips, etc.

Everything was exactly as advertised plus! So many extras you don't normally find in a vacation rental. It was more than we hoped for. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. We will definitely return.

We had a very relaxing stay. So quiet and away from the busy city.. But not so remote that you cant get to a grocery store or restaurants within 10 minutes. The house has pretty much everything you need. We stayed during the first week of December and the home was decorated for Christmas, even down to the dishes and cups.
The temps dipped into the low/mid 70s and the heated pool/hot tub was perfect.
Beautiful home. We look forward to going back.

This house is actually more besutiful than the pictures portray. The property was not only beautiful but relaxing. My husband loved walking to the backyard to throw a line in everyday.,as i relaxed at the incredible pool. It was a perfect home for our family. The hosts were accommodating and gracious people. We will definitely be back.

This lovely home will not disappoint. Water, wildlife,super clean and extremely well equipped, this property exceeded our expectations. I like to say we've been spoiled by each of our VRBO hosts, but Jackie and Bob take it to another level. They literally had a tech out hours before our check in to ensure that everything was up to their standards. We focused on health and wellness for our anniversary and could not have chosen a better place to celebrate. Truly a hidden gem.

Pictures dont do justice to this gem, it is located on the water with a spectacular view every room was superb and all beds were reported comfortable. Great lanai and pool area, great place to entertain. Quiet neighborhood gracious hosts let us check in early, everything was exceptional.

Our family stayed for a week and had a fabulous time. The property was beautiful! The photos do not do the interior or exterior justice, it was amazing! The owners were super nice and showed us how to use everything. This isn’t a typical bare bones vacation rental, it was a home. Really nice kitchen appliances and more than enough pots and pans to cook anything we wanted to make! Jackie was kind enough to bring over an instant pot when I asked if she had one. The kids enjoyed the pool and we kayaked and paddle boarded in the river. We caught blue crab off the dock and several catfish. There was a good selection of fishing poles at the home. The beds were really comfortable and the two zoned air conditioner kept us nice and cool. The property felt safe and it is a very quiet neighborhood.
The backyard porch had fans and was comfortable even on super hot days. The furniture outside was very comfortable and having the large TV outside was really great as well. There was a nice outlet mall about 20ish minutes away. We hit up the flea market (only open on Sundays) and had some delicious food from food trucks there and got some fresh produce. We would love to come back and highly recommend this lovely home!

This was the most beautiful property the yard was beautiful with lots of plants and trees and critters. They have a huge turtle who lives on the premises, and eagle and hawks. We enjoys beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. The owners Jackie and Bob were super people they came and showed us all the special features of the home. It had every convince imaginable. It was close to church and grocery stores. I have several happy men who enjoyed fishing off their dock. And swimming in the pool was great also.

Stayed Dec 28-Jan 9, 2023. Very nice private property. The kitchen had all of the essentials plus much, much more. All of the beds were very comfortable. It was perfect since it was our family Christmas together and the house was even decorated for holiday season. Plenty of room for the six of us. Beautiful sunrises, very nice pool and jacuzzi, and the lanai was terrific - spent most of our time outside on the patio. My husband caught nine catfish from the dock and we saw several dolphins from the dock. Would absolutely book again if we're traveling to the area.

Every person in our group of 6 loved this property inside and out! We spent the majority of our time in the large, comfortable, private lanai. The pool was wonderful and warm. We especially enjoyed the views, fish tank, privacy, comfortable beds, and spaciousness of the home. The communication and hospitality of the hosts were excellent.

If you love nature as much as our family this is the perfect spot for you.Wildlife abounds just look and listen and keep those binoculars handy.The pool lanai was our favorite spot to hang out even during tropical storm Nicole(.yes we got the full Florida experience).Thanks to the owners for responding quickly to any concerns we had.2 weeks wasn’t long enough Enjoy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Ruskin. There was plenty of room for everyone to visit, eat, sleep, and relax. Swimming in the pool and fishing off the dock were highlights for our family.
And the views are amazing! We saw dolphins pass by twice in our week long stay.
The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We are already discussing staying again next year!

House and hosts very accommodating. House well appointed, with all the extras. Pool was a huge hit with kids, and I enjoyed fishing and kayaking from the dock. Traveled with parents and kids, and plenty of space and options for activities for all. Location was good for a quiet get-away. We drove over to Universal for a day, and also rented boats from a nearby beach.
Hosts were superb to work with.

Relaxing Retreat...
We took our two moms to this lovely home on the water... the beds were so comfy and the outdoor pool delightful. It was enjoyable to wake up and look out over the Little Manatee River and we even saw dolphins and a bald eagle eating breakfast. It is in a very rural and quiet area so if you are seeking peace this is the place.

Pictures do not do this place justice!
The house was even more impressive than the pictures showed. The view was beautiful! We watched dolphins in the distance and enjoyed eating all of our meals outside by the pool. It was such a quiet, peaceful location. We did have some issues with the pool/hot tub but the hosts were exceptional at communicating and getting everything looked at asap. Overall, we had such a wonderful stay and this home is very well kept and stocked with nearly anything you can imagine.

Home away from home
We absolutely love the accommodations, the pool, the grounds, the view... everything! The house is stocked with anything you could possibly need. We immediately felt like we were in our home away from home. The beds are super comfortable with super cozy linens, the large screen TVs were readily available seemingly at every turn (even at the pool), and the kitchen was fully stocked with every tool you could possibly need to cook any type meal. The hosts were very communicative and hospitable, providing a very clean, homey, and relaxing environment. We truly appreciate Bob and Jackie opening their home to us and for giving us such a wonderful 17th anniversary trip.

If your lookin for privacy, dolphins, palm trees, and a real “hot” tub/pool, this property is for you! Plenty of space for all of us and beautifully decorated especially for the holiday season, we took family pics in front of the Christmas tree that was lovely! Pool area was our place to hang out or we played cards and games near the fireplace!
It was hard to find a heated pool in Tampa area, all the other home pools were”solar heated”. This place is within 30 minutes from Sarasota or St. Pete. Great that there is two master bedrooms with there own bath!
They have a propane fire pit near pool or a wood pit down near water which was an added bonus!
My family wants to book for next year already:)

Great stay Bob and Jackie were so helpful and always there for us. Quiet place and easy to get around in and out of house. Warm pool! Beds were all comfy as well as living room. Perfect place to relax!
