The property was clean, rooms and amenities were as advertised and it’s close to the Wanna Wanna beach bar. Javier was timely in responding to all communications. I would book this property again

We loved our stay. Condo had everything we needed and the pool was a special bonus! Half a block to the beach and The Wanna Wanna. We will definitely be back.

House was what we expected for the price point and knowing it allows pets. We weren't paying ultra-luxury prices, so went into it with the appropriate level of expectations. That being said, it suited our needs just fine, and was plenty nice. We were going to SPI to spend time on the beach, not in the house. Anyone with the same expectations will be satisfied as well. There were 4 of us and our dog and the size was fine for us. Any more than that and it may feel a bit cramped if everyone is hanging out in the same area. My wife commented on the cleanliness of the property upon arrival. And my wife is a stickler for cleanliness, doesn't freely give out compliments unless truly impressed. So kudos to their cleaning crew. We had one little hiccup upon check-in, but property owner got it taken care of very quickly. He was very responsive. Location was nice. On a quieter street, about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Our 3 year old had no problem making the walk multiple times a day to the beach and back.

Great pool, and close to the beach

Mr. Chavez is an exemplary host. The home offers all the necessities of home. The beach is half a block away. Convenience store on the other corner. Very ideal location . Ive stayed at otherr rentals to include the Sapphire, but this hands down is our family favorite. Hope Mr. Chavez will have us next summer! Thank you Mr. Chavez!!!

The property was clean and as advertised. There are some things that need updating due to wear and tear, hard water and salt in air. The pool lounge chairs also need to be replaced. There was an internet outage, and our AT&T service was not available for most of our stay. Had to use verizon hotspot for internet access. The owner was very responsive, which I appreciated. Our family enjoyed the beach, the closeness of the property to the beach and of course the private pool, where my young daughter learned how to do her first cannonball! We will definitely be back!

Location was great. Short walk to beach. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Only lacked a few things: need more trash bags (and ones that fit the kitchen trash can), more towels in bathrooms, and a coffee pot. The fold out bed in master needs to be replaced. Not comfortable at all and has missing boards. The pool was a plus and family enjoyed it when not at the beach!

Clean and comfortable nothing fancy. The 7th bed was a cot type bed located in the master bedroom closet. We did see a couple really large bugs inside. The pool and outside area was nice and large. The dinning/livingroom area was comfortable for our group 6 adults and 1 child.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were quite comfortable and the pool was very nice but a little cool this time of year but it was clean and quite private. One item that needs attention. The dishwasher needed to be better secured to the cabinet. When the door opened the dishwasher tipped into the kitchen. It needs a clamp. It would also have been nice to have some beach equipment provided such as chairs, a cart, etc. But it's not a big deal and it really didn't detract at all from our stay. Again everything was really great.

All communication with host prior to stay was via email. No issues during stay. Host followed up via phone after stay. Property locations is great; quiet and safe neighborhood. Unfortunately we hit a cool stretch of weather so didn't use the unheated pool more than twice, but it does add esthetic value to back yard. Kitchen is well equipped, TVs have extenisve channel selection (including ESPN+) and living area very comfortable. Three bedrooms upstairs including very large primary bedroom and ensuite bath. We travelled with our labrador retrieiver. Note that there isn't really any space in backyard for dogs to play/relieve themselves so be prepared to walk dogs off property to do their "business". (short walk to empty lot .... remember to take your poop bags!) South Padre Island is dog friendly including the beaches & some outdoor patios & a couple of the nearby attractions ... all on leash of course. Overall our experience was great and we would return again to this property if we travel to SPI in the future.

Beach access half a block up and half a block over with a beachfront restaurant/bar at the access. Nice small pool and interior comfortable and clean. We grilled snapper and shrimp purchased from the grocery down the street. Clean and comfortable, exactly as described. We look forward to returning.

Toda estancia fue excelente, desde que llegamos, el checkin fue muy fácil y la casa estaba súper limpia!! Baños, sabanas, cocina, refrigerador etc, todo súper limpio. La alberca tiene muy buen espacio, y cuenta con un asador pequeño para disfrutar afuera, los cuartos en la planta alta cuentan con espacio suficiente para los huéspedes, y las camas están cómodas. Es un vecindario tranquilo y perfecto para familias!! Definitivamente regresaremos más adelante.

This is the perfect place for family plenty of rooms for everyone. We really enjoyed the pool and the space in the back yard.

This is our second time in this unit and we would definitely go back. Plenty of room for our family of 4 and dogs, everything in working condition easy walk to the beach and the pool was lovely.

Everything was exactly as advertised, very clean, and very comfortable. The beach was a less than 5 minute walk from the front door, and the beaches are beautiful. My only suggestion would be to let renters use the garage. The sun is boiling hot, and some shade would be great. That street is used by lots and lots of people to get to the beach. Hard to navigate through all randomly parked cars. I would definitely book again!

Place is clean and in a great location. Only 2 chairs to lay down on to sun bathe for 6 people who can stay at the place is really the only negative thing.

This was our first time in South Padre and we found this location perfect. Property is well maintained. Descriptions and pictures are accurate. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach in a matter of minutes. It was quite windy during our stay so the private pool with a privacy fence that provided some breaks from the wind was great. If I have any recommendation for changes they are few. The kitchen has almost everything you need to cook on site. There was only one towel that served for doing dishes and to be used for removing hot items from the oven. Maybe just something that was missed when changing out items between guests. We had enough to make it work. Javier is very clear this is a family location. As such it is not near the areas with bars if that’s what you’re looking for. However the island is easily accessible by walking or using Island Metro. A very relaxing quiet spot
