Having visited Puerto Vallarta several times in the past and staying in the Marina area (closer to the airport), we decided to explore options in the Romantic Zone. Most of the great things that PV has to offer (beach, restaurants, fun bars, shopping, entertainment, etc.) is located in the Old Town or Romantic Zone. Let's just say our decision to stay in this area was truly the right choice starting out with exceptional accommodations in this beautiful La Palapa Condo. La Palapa Restaurant had always been one of our favorites and we had not realized that they had condos above the restaurant that were available to rent. The condo was amazing...two bedrooms and two bathrooms, spotlessly clean and the ambiance of the artsy, tasteful decor could not be better. The beds were super comfortable. While our unit (606) was not directly facing the beach, we had a beautiful side view of the beach/ocean from our large terrace/balcony. Everything that you needed for your stay was available including a great welcome book with lots of suggestions and tips. The owners, Brian and Matt, were very gracious and insured that everything was to our satisfaction. We met other guests at the 8th floor roof top swimming pool, that could not speak more highly of their experience at La Palapa and Brian and Matt. The reception staff at the front desk was always present and helpful throughout our stay. Best of all, everything that there is to see and do is just outside your doorstep. We'll be back!

We love everything about this condo and how welcome we feel. The location is PRICELESS! We walk out the door and onto the sand where our beach chairs await. Or we walk out the front door (after friendly chats with our concierges) and into the heart of the Romantic Zone with shops and restaurants.

Matt's condo is great, exactly as described, etc. He was exceedingly responsive, plus the 24-hour front desk was very helpful to have. Great location in the middle of Romantic Zone, lots of restaurants, bars, things to do, etc., plus easy access to beach through La Palapa restaurant. Would definitely stay there again!

We have stayed in many VRBO/properties and I must say this was the best ever.Very well equipped,communication from the very beginning to the end.There was nothing in this absolutely beautiful condo that you needed it was always well stocked.The pool was amazing.We would ,I’ve to come back.

Everything about our experience was simply the best! We loved having both Banderas Bay views as well as the city and mountain. The best of both worlds and the terrace was beautiful. The condo was well laid out, very comfortable with everything we needed! Our housekeeper Nora did a fantastic job!! Highly recommended and we’ll definitely return to the Romantic Zone. Our condo was within walking distance to most restaurants, shops and bars.

This was our second time at this property and we already booked for next spring break. Of course the condo was beautiful but the location - amazing. Steps to the sand, restaurants and shops. Safe and secure too. We left the doors and windows open the entire time for the wonderful breeze and sound of the ocean.

It doesn’t get much better than this place. Great location, great balcony overlooking the ocean, restaurants everywhere, short walk to the malecon, amazing heated rooftop pool with stunning views, especially at sunset.

Our 18 day stay was a delight. The suite is as beautiful as the pictures, comfortable and well stocked. The staff of La Palapa are helpful and Nora, the housekeeper, is a gem.

I loved the property! Easy check in, the condo has amazing views and it was super clean! Front desk was amazing and super helpful! The owner was wonderful and was quick to respond to all of our needs and questions! I cannot say anything less about the owners, they were amazing! The condo was in the middle of everything! Beachfront, restaurants, boat tours, clubs, and the market! Overall we had an amazing time at this condo!

This condo is very clean and updated and has everything that you need. The location is fabulous, you can pretty much walk to most things or take a quick cab ride. The private deck and the rooftop deck and pool are stunning. Owners were totally available if we needed anything. Would for sure stay there again.

Loved seeing the nighttime storms from the condo, and the area was lovely. PV is not too crowded in September, it is hot HOT but the ocean and pool were a refreshing respite!

This was a beautiful property and perfect location for beach days, night life and dining options. Our last 3 meals were at the restaurant downstairs and were the best of all. Definitely recommend this VRBO. It has hundreds of 5 star ratings for a reason! All the PV people we met were kind and friendly. We felt very safe walking at night and throughout the day.

Amazing Location
The apt is located in a condo building right on the beach. You also have a beachfront restaurant at the base of the building that serves excellent food. You are in the prime location of Zona Romantica and can easily walk wherever you need to. The apt was super clean and had everything we needed. There is and AC and fan in every room, so staying cool was not a problem. The apt is well decorated and had some local art on display. The smaller bathroom didn't have the best water pressure, but the master bathroom shower was great. Overall a fantastic vacation spot.

The condo is a perfect spot to explore the romantic zone of Puerto Vallarta. The space was exceptional! A wide panoramic balcony. Cleanliness and a very well stocked kitchen area. Will definitely stay here again.

Relaxin Getaway
The condo is perfectly located with great views of the beach and sunsets! Great shopping within a few blocks. PV dining is great and easy to get to. The condo had a great equipped kitchen for easy breakfast, lunch or snacks. Would differently stay there again!

Great experience. Matt and Brian were excellent communicators. Clean with great amenities. Location was perfect. If you are looking for solitude, this may not be for you. Noise level is a little high at night. We enjoyed watching the people on the street. Overall, great experience.

Gorgeous condo, great ocean views, lively (and a bit loud) location
This is a beautiful condo with a great combination of modern and traditional Mexican decor, a gorgeous ocean view from the private terrace and walking distance to everything. The rooftop has a lovely pool and incredible views of PV. The location is fantastic (easy walk to beach, restaurants and bars), but a bit noisy, as the building is across the street from a bar that plays really loud music all night long. Luckily, you can't hear it from inside the condo if the terrace doors are closed. The owners are super responsive and helpful. Awesome place to stay!

Amazing property, amazing hosts!
We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Sometimes posted images don't tell the whole story - nothing could be further from the truth with this truly 2 bd 2 ba condo. Host's Matt & Brian keep their home immaculate w daily housekeeping. The building is secure and incredibly well located in the Romantic Zone w one of the best restaurants in PV on the ground floor. Don't bother w beach towels - fresh one's provided daily. We could go on and on. We are very discerning travelers - trust us on this one!

Dream Condo!
We had an amazing time at this condo. Everything about this experience was an absolute dream! From communication with the property owner and check-in process, to the actual space itself. It was ideal! The location of this property cannot be beat. The view from the large patio was beautiful. The rooftop pool, restaurant and beachfront downstairs were a real plus. Have already recommended this spot to others and hope to come back again soon!
