Amazing location in the middle of EVERYTHING! The new patio is Adorable and Spacious with loungers and patio games...the only suggestion would be a hot tub :) The owner was very prompt with any questions through email and very generous to let us check in 3 hours early!!

Walk to the beach, gravity park and great restaurants. Plenty of space for our family of 10.

If you’re looking to hit the beach alot, this property is not far at all and allowed my family to be at the beach every day of our 5 day stay!

Overall, as mentioned in other reviews, the property was beautiful, spacious, and in a great location to the beach and other shops! The rooms were big and the pool table was a big hit with the family! The patio was a nice addition as well but we didn’t use it during our particular trip. In regards to the issues, there were a few that really hindered the enjoyment of the vacation. The master bedroom main light did not work so we had to resort to using a small lamp in the room or the vanity light. The refrigerator was set to max coolness and yet it took about 24 hours for food and drinks to actually be cool. The light in the half bath did not work and would require you to flip the switch numerous times just to get it to turn on. The washer and dryer provided in the unit was a nice touch but the washer did not complete the spin cycle so once the washer said it was done, the clothes were still soaking wet and we had to wring them out. The dryer did not work as we tried to dry the same load 3 times and ended up taking wet clothes back home. As requested per check out requirements, we attempted to take out all trash but we were only provided one trash bag for each bathroom and the main kitchen trash can. The same occurred with toilet paper, there was only two extra rolls in the entire house. We had 6 adults and 4 kids for a 4 day 3 night stay so had to go out of pocket to buy additional trash bags and toilet paper. In regards to the patio, I was informed the day of check in that there were 2 new propane grills that we could utilize, so we bought a propane tank to only find out neither grill worked. We assumed it was the tank as the grills were advertised as new but tested the tank back home and it works. Also, the external shower to rinse off did not work. Lastly, as mentioned by numerous reviews, the AC is a problem at the house with only 1 of the double Queen rooms being cold and the other rooms being significantly hot. We checked all the vents and they were open but the air flow was still lacking. We ended up buying a box fan for that room to help achieve some comfort. If you do plan to rent during the hottest part of the summer, I would suggest not cooking inside as it just made the house even hotter. With the following experience, it was a good price for the middle of July! If you need a close spot to the beach and you enjoy playing pool stay here. But if you want working amenities, I would suggest paying a bit more and looking elsewhere.

This was a perfect place for our family to enjoy the beach and the town festivities!

It was a great house with minimal to no problems. Property manager was excellent at communicating and making it a smooth process. For first time SPI visitors we learned alot and look forward to visiting again !

Clean and as described

We were celebrstung our famiversary of 15 years blended and growing! This was a perfect home for us huge open floor plan where no matter where you were I. Thw commons you were not left out! This superhost hD everything we needed, including g an out door shower and an amazing deck for another Oace to congregate.. it's definitely worth a rebooking.

We had 7 adults in our group and we were so comfortable in this space! We loved having the pool table to play on in our down time, the walk to the beach was so easy and close. We would absolutely love to come back and stay longer next time! Thank you! 🤗

My family and I had an amazing weekend here, it was convenient for us as the beach was just walking distance and shops close by. The house was perfect for us. We had some great memories here!

When we got to the property, it was clean. We found that the beach entrance is half a block away. The grocery store is roughly four blocks and the shopping stores are all within walking distance. If you like dairy queen, that is just down the road and we were there almost every night. Bedrooms were good size and everyone had their own beds...total Of 9 of us stayed. We can't wait to do it again next year. I would highly recommend this to any family that is looking for a family vaca close to the beach.

Nice property very centrally located to all activities on the island. None of the bathroom doors lock which is extremely odd and due to kids we kept the doors shut all the time so they didn't crawl into the bathroom so we had a couple times people walked in on each other. Few lights burned out when we arrived. Ceiling fans very loud while trying to sleep. But a very nice property and place to stay.

Great location.

My family and I had a great time staying here. The duplex was clean and much bigger and brighter than we expected and the pool table was a plus. The online pictures do not do it justice. Great location, and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the beach! We were able to step right outside to the driveway and watch the fireworks! I read a few negative reviews about the AC and the rooms being warm and was a little worried, however, the thermostat was set at 70 and we all were very comfortable especially at night when we slept. I would stay here again!

We loved this place! It nice and clean and they had tons of kids toys to take to the beach. It was a short walk to almost everywhere you needed to go. We walked everywhere with the kiddos so it wasn'tan issue for us. We were 4 adults and 6 kids under 11. The AC was perfect temp so we didn't need to adjust anything. I will definitely stay there next time too..

It was extremely hot in the bedrooms. Water pressure in the guest bathroom is really bad. As soon as we walked in the door the curtain rod in the living room fell off. Their curtain rod in the master bedroom is barely hanging on. The kitchen sink is broken

Great place, Great location near everything. The only downside is the Jack and Jill bathroom does not lock and the shower compartment is real small. Not much room to move around. Place is big enough for 11 adults, the pool table is an added bonus, we would definitely rent again.

Overall our stay was great, our family of 12 fit perfectly. The beach was just a walk away no more then 5 mins. The only thing we had a issue with was the a/c all 3 rooms got pretty hot we ended up having to buy fans. Other then that the stay was great!

I dont i will ever rent luke this again

This home was a great place to stay. It is very conveniently located. There was plenty of room for 8 of us. We loved using the pool table. It was nice to be able to cook our own meals and wash our clothes. If you are looking for a quiet vacation, I would not recommend visiting the island during "Holy Week"

Ultimate tan

Owner controls A/C and it does not work properly. No chest of drawers to put clothes in. Because there is no space. Space is to small for 12 people. No area for kids to play. Was not cleaned properly, there was toothpaste splatters on mirrors in bathroom when we got there. Leftover food still in fridge and cabinets. No toilet paper provided. Loose boards on balcony railing. Owner is not very responsive. Was not happy at all obviously. Will not recommend to any one.

House seemed liked it was in the middle of the island. Very short walk to beach. Although I thought we rented out the whole house it was 2 units upstairs and a down stairs unit, we struggled a bit to get our stuff up the stairs but its manageable. The space was a good size for our group of nine. The kitchen was beautiful. I think the only complaint I have is that the trash can in the kitchen area is too small. We were having to take the trash out often. Other than that it is perfect for the price we paid,

The only issue is the owner just needs to hire a better more thorough cleaning crew. That was the only downside to our trip. The house and location are as described with some wear and tear thats normal for a beach rental... Great location. Just an overall layer of dirt that needed to be cleaned first by us the renters who also had to go buy our own cleaning supplies and toiletries. How are you renting with no toilet paper in the unit? Other than that we went down for the weekend to have a great time and we did!

My wife and I stayed here for the month of Feb 2020. Lots of things right, but also many things not so right. First is was a great area within walking distance of tons of food and shopping. A grocery store only a 5-8 minute walk and the beach was only 5 min walk too. The unit we had was on the top. Nice to have 2 little balconies to use but one did not have a screen so we barely used that one and the screen on the other was super hard to open and close. We had issues (as well as the tenant below) with the automated lock on the main door. As a matter of fact we got completely locked out. Call the manager and although he was nice he could not resolve our issue and we had to really figure out it ourselves. So bug issues to which the manager just laughed that off as being part of southern Texas and it is expected. Also we had some trouble with bulbs burnt out in the bathroom and a circuit breaker that kept popping off that controlled the refrig and micro. Basically no one stopped by the entire time we were there even with these problems. I would hope in the future someone would be available to come by and help instead of just acting like it wasn't a big deal. Lastly we did love having all the room this unit offered and the great pool table (aside from the broken cue and rack which I had to duck tape to make them functional. Honestly it's a great place they need to just talk care of it and the people who rent from them.
