Close to shopping and dining. Property manager failed to leave a voice mail when she called for check-in instructions, therefore we didn't know exactly where to go when we arrived in Jaco. There were no check-out instructions, either. When she initially met with us, she showed us a map of Jaco and then took it with her! Property could use some updating, and initial cleanliness was just adequate. Pool was nice, view of beach was breathtaking.

This property exceeded our expectations. The photos are accurate, but don't do the property justice. This condo is beautifully decorated, spotless, definitely a luxury condo with everything we needed for our stay.

The home was beyond our expectations! It was beautifully located right on the beach with gorgeous views from the balcony. The home was immaculate. The neighborhood was gated and had a security guard 24/7. Our family felt safe and secure, even walking down the main shopping and restaurant areas at night. We have 3 teenage girls. Everything is within walking distance. The concierge, Patricia, was absolutely amazing. She planned and booked all of our excursions and had the best recommendations for restaurants. You definitely need to try Graffiti restaurant. We had massages done in the home, zip lining, horseback riding, and Tortuga Island cruise, and enjoyed the black sand beach everyday! We even enjoyed the pool over looking the beach. Patricia took care of every detail, including transportation. This was the best worry free family vacation full of amazing memories! I highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful spacious fully equipped condo located right on the beach within walking distance to all services; all aspects of the condo and building were well beyond expectations. The owner and property manager were extremely gracious, were meant to feel like guests vs clients. Highly recommended, we would stay here again.

We booked this property based on the great reviews for the Christmas & New Year Holiday. The owners were stellar and more than accommodating when flights were cancelled for a couple days due to a storm.
The place is HUGE and the views are amazing! You can’t beat the sunsets from the balcony. There are macaws that live in the almond trees next door and fly by several times a day. THAT was exciting!
You are within walking distance to everything: grocery stores, a plethora of restaurants, the beach, adventure/tour locations, etc. The pool is bigger than pictures show and right on the beach. We enjoyed most of our down time there.
Patricia was beyond helpful and made a few dinner reservations for our group of 6, booked several tours (I highly recommend the ATV and the Manuel Antonio Park Tour) and arranged for our transportation to and from SJO. She also helped us collect our missing luggage over 5 consecutive days as it slowly trickled in from the airline. She made a pretty big setback a lot better and we are grateful for that and for her.
Oh….and the permanent residents in the building are super nice as well as the guards. We always felt safe and very welcomed.
You will NOT be disappointed when booking here. Can’t give enough praise!

Everything about my experience with this condo was perfect. The condo is HUGE - the pictures don't do it justice. The view is absolutely amazing, pool is great, condo is very well stocked and maintained. The beds and couch were really comfortable. Easy walk to everything in town. Patricia was fantastic for arranging transportation, activities, and getting us checked in. Really impressive place and great people managing it.

Paradise in Jaco
This was our 1st trip to Costa Rica and I really can't say enough about this property. It was perfect. The location was great. The unit was larger than expected. The grounds were well maintained. The building was super nice inside and out. The guys at the guard gate were super nice and helpful. It all made for a perfect stay.

Perfect Location!
Awesome location! Nothing like the beach with a pool looking out to the ocean! The sunsets from our balcony were awesome! We did Zip Lining, Fishing, and Horseback riding. Caught a 350 pound marlin, Dolphin fish and more. The girls did a Spa Day. Experienced lots of local food and entertainment! This is the place to stay if you wish to be in the heart of Jaco life! Very clean and nice condo.

beauty on the beach
this is a very well laid out condo right on the beach. the 5th floor is high enough to have no bugs but low enough to see and hear everything the balconies are great. the location is the best in jaco . we have been to jaco many times and this is our favorite

Third Visit to Jaco!
Last two visits we stayed on the 11th floor. We actually enjoyed the lower floor as all the rooms are in the same area. Each room was decorated nicely and each had its own bathroom. Also, they all had views of the ocean or forest. However, the windows should be cleaned on the outside.
The unit was comfy and filled with colorful paintings. We spent time on the balcony in the evenings. The pool is nice and easy access to the beach was convenient. The security guards remembered us and are very nice. The Coronavirus started to impact our vacation in beautiful Costa Rica when we arrived in Jaco. We still enjoyed the wonderful dining in Jaco and no one was panicking.

5 star all around
The location is perfect; it’s central on the beach where the sand is soft and fine, not pebbly like the north end.
The guarded gate had us feeling completely safe. The condo patrons were super friendly and welcoming.
The owners were extremely accommodating for us - when we wanted to check in early and leave a bit later due to our later flights.
Patricia was amazing as a concierge and was always incredibly prompt in responding and diligent to book our tours with the most reputable providers
the condo itself is stunning; the furnishings gorgeous. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the view from the deck is amazing with shade in the morning.
The condo was excellently stocked - more than enough towels, laundry detergent and dish detergent and enough appliances and Tupperware for me to cook like at home (rice cooker, coffee maker and toaster).
A small cooler was available and a boogie board for the kids.
it was the most amazing way to end our vacation in Costa Rica. Thank you Jessen and Patricia - we will be recommending this condo for sure

Amazing sunsets
Vista Las Palmas 5D condo is in the most amazing location. 5th floor facing the beach and the north side for the best sunsets. High enough to be above the trees and yet low enough to hear the surf and see what is happening on the beach. You can walk to everything. Patricia was our concierge and was amazing. It would be great if the listing had the name of the condo - Vista Las Palmas - as they insist on knowing where you are staying when you go through Costa Rican customes.

The condo is gorgeous and huge, and right on the ocean! I loved that it is on the ocean, but only one block from wonderful restaurants and stores.
Patricia contacted me after I booked the stay, and set everything up for me. She made everything easy.

We love Jaco!!
We had a wonderful time staying at the Vistas Las Palmas. The entire property is simply gorgeous. We stayed in 5D and had incredible views of the beach and the mountains from our numerous balconies. There were even scarlet macaws in the tree just next to our unit. We stayed there with a young child and we found things to be very family-friendly. It was quiet, clean, spacious and there was easy access to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful experience
The condo was sooo nice and a great location. Everything was walkable. Great view and it was especially nice that all rooms had their own private baths. Patricia did an amazing job helping us plan our trip and giving us such wonderful recommendations on what to do. Definitely a repeat trip.

Excellent spot!
Great family vacation! The unit was exactly as advertised and in a perfect location. Clean, well maintained, lots of room and spectacular views. Both the owner Jessen and Patricia, the property manager, were great to work with. We had a couple of small problems that were solved immediately. Paul, the building manager, also did a great job helping us out.
Easy walk to restaurants, shops and a very nice grocery store. All of the people were friendly and easy to deal with.
We look forward to going back and would not stay anywhere else. Thanks, Jessen and Patricia, for a wonderful holiday!

It has been my 13th year in a row going to costa rica and 4th year staying in this condo . Everything was perfect as always with the condo . it is perfectly located in a private gated and safe location on the beach with a great pool and very friendly people . it is a short walk to the New open air mall with some of the best restaurants Jaco has to offer ( Graffiti , tusnami , puddle fish to name a few ) thanks Jessen

Beautiful condo; amazing views!
This is the second time I rented from Jessen and had a good experience both times. The condo looks even better than in 2016. I love that many restaurants and stores are within walking distance. Patricia is always helpful when you need something and the security staff is friendly. If/ when we visit Jaco again, I would not hesitate to stay at Vista Las Palmas again. VLP is the best looking condo building in Jaco. Great pool and location!

Nice Condo and Nice Building
Our family of 5 enjoyed staying in this condo, we were safe and the location is good! Our coffee maker went out, but it was replaced in less than 24 hours with a brand new one! The only other issue is the king size bed in the back bedroom squeaks a lot, so its a little bit of a problem if two people sleep on it, other than that there were no other issues. We had a great time!

This was another perfect trip to VLP 5D. Condo has been recently updated and all the furnishings are in great condition. Fully equipped from beach towels to kitchenware. Management so easy to work with and wonderful owner.

Great location not so great condo.
The condo could be nice with a little work. The floors and rugs are very dirty. If you walk with no shoes, your feet will be black in just a few steps. There is 1 wash rag in the whole unit. The Air conditioner is set at 75 and can’t be set lower. When I pay to rent a place, I want to control the temperature. No hot water until the 2nd day. We finally found the breaker box and flipped the breaker. The property manager didn’t show up to let us in as planned, but she did leave a note saying she had another appointment to go to. 200 dead and alive bees on the balcony. The condo is in need of a deep cleaning and a makeover. Other than these issues, it was ok.
