This is our 4th vacation using VRBO. This was my first time booking a place that had minimal reviews but the resort & similar rentals in the resort had good reviews. First impression the property was clean and well kept. Lots of free parking spaces. On arrival our access instructions had still not been sent to us/uploaded to VRBO and we had to endure the long distance fees to call Yvonne to obtain it. Once we got into the Condo it was clean and quite nice. The condo has a heavy odor from mothballs, and you can smell this even before entering the condo. Bed was comfy, it is right at the front door and we had a gentleman coming by the corridor and up the stairs by our room everyday between 8am and 10am with a leaf blower, that was disturbing for when you wanted to sleep in, it was mentioned to the reception staff. Bathroom was nice, clean, lots of towels/handtowels/faceclothes. No soaps at all. Small blowdryer. We did use laundry, brought our own laundry pods and bounce sheets, it worked fine. The kitchen was poorly equipped compared to previous stays we've had. A set of plates/bowls/cups/mugs. The frying pans are awful, there are pots and one pan to use in the oven - no oven mitts. There is a kettle and coffee brewer - no coffee filters, so bring your own. We were not provided with a garbage bag on arrival, just used grocery bags. No dish soaps or any cleaners provided at all. There is a dishwasher but we did not use, again you would need to provide your own dishwashers tabs. Living room had cable tv, pull out couch but we had trouble pulling it out, may have been broken but wasn't a big deal for us. Patio was nice and A/C worked. Some concerns - the back door has no lock. It is above ground level but still accessible from beside and from below. The in room safe did not work. On our 5th night (friday) we returned to our room at 10pm and the keypad on our door was dead. We were not provided with a key in our room at this place so we had no way to enter our room and could not make contact with anyone, reception is also closed at this time. A total PANIC for being off resort. We ended up getting in a few hours later, we had security find us a ladder and the 2 men climbed onto the roof and got to our room and entered the back door, which was not locked because there is no lock. We were told by Yvonne a key would be held at the sales office for us but the sales office was closed sat/sun, so no help. The next day the batteries were changed on our lock

The unit we rented was excellent. Perfect size and layout. It was clean and well equipped with much of the things we needed for the week. It had a beautiful, large and private terrace. We did not get to the pool this visit but the pool and deck were very clean and inviting. I will definitely rent here again on my future visits to Turks & Caicos.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very nice, spacious, lovely terrace, clean. Easy to walk to the beach. Price/quality: top! Yvonne was super reachable for any question. Thank you Yvonne!
