Purple Moon Seabreeze Cottage es un hermoso bungalow victoriano histórico ubicado a tres cuadras del centro de Ventura. Ofrecemos una cama queen-size, cama king-size y camas de aire disponibles bajo petición. Esta es una casa de tamaño completo con lavadora / secadora, refrigerador, lavaplatos, estufa, televisores en las habitaciones y sala de estar, terraza trasera con barbacoa en el patio trasero y un área de porche delantero para sentarse y admirar la vista de las montañas y pintoresco arquitectura de Ventura. Tenemos acceso rápido a la playa. Se trata de una caminata de cuatro cuadras y hay un puente para llegar más rápido, si lo prefiere. El centro tiene muchas tiendas, restaurantes y una sala de cine que muestra diez películas. Todo está a poca distancia. Tenemos una bañera antigua con patas y patas que viene con un cabezal de ducha. Tenemos un bonito patio delantero y trasero para que disfrutes. Nuestro porche delantero es un lugar excepcional para estar durante los desfiles. También tenemos bastante vista. Nuestra casa se enfrenta a las hermosas montañas y casas al otro lado de la calle, que son realmente bonitas de ver. Ventura es una ciudad costera encantadora y el ambiente es muy relajado y la casa es muy cómoda. Tenemos un piano para que toques. Hay juegos de mesa y juegos de patio que se proporcionan. ¡También tenemos internet y cable!

Two adult sons, husband and I spent 3 full days enjoying the beach in Ventura, quaint shops and thrift stores, breakfasts and dinners out to reinforce the "holiday", altlhough the kitchen was fully equipped, and house spacious for the 4 of us.The house is charming, with all the comforts and necessities of home. "Dee" the owner recommended Pete's for breakfast and Lure fish house for dinner...both delicious. When the air mattress was noted to have a leak...she ordered and had a new air matress immediately. If you play the piano...there are plenty of music books to play from.

This place is convenient to the pedestrianized part of Main Street, so it's a very nice area, but just far enough away to be very quiet at night. A few blocks from beach access, and good amenities that made it a very nice trip for us. Host was very communicative, and very accommodating.

Cute cottage, great location - near downtown Main Street shopping & restaurants - pier only 10 min walk from house. Very convenient. Host was great - allowed us to check in early as my daughter had to work and needed wifi - we really appreciated this accommodation. The only thing we didn’t love was the shower - the tub is a quaint old free standing tub, but was a bit small. Overall, a nicehome full of charm.

Such a comfortable and well appointed place. 4 comfortable rockers on the front page and a great table, chairs, and bbq on the huge back. Everything in beetween, the 2 bedrooms, living room dining room, bathroom, and kitchen, is just as perfect. The piano is in tune and beautiful just to look at. Definitely will return!

We had a lovely stay at this home. Being walking distance to our Ventura Fairgrounds event was the icing on the cake.
All our basic needs were taken care of.
The owner is an angel, with stellar communication skills and caring concern for our well-being and enjoyment of her unique and comfy home.

The house was so chatming and Dorothea was an amazing host. My kids love the backyard and the kitchen was spacious and super confortable... it felt like a true summer house... so close to everything but auper quiet and relaxing ...

5-10 minute walk to beach and just a couple blocks from town. Unique and historic. Cute and comfortable front porch. Easy communication with the owner:)

Traveling with my brother so the 2 bedroom set up was perfect. We were able to walk to the beach and loved the location of the home .

Had to make an emergency trip to Ventura as our 43-year-old son died unexpectedly. Dee was spectacular. She made us feel welcome and the angels in her home helped us get through the first few days . . . . more to come, but we sincerely appreciated her support during this difficult time!

Dorothea was an amazing hostess. Hurricane Hilary was on it's way and she kept in communication with me to let me know she was available should anything happen. The vibe of the house was so comfortable and relaxing. We spent our evening out on the front porch enjoying the weather and dinners on the back deck. It is perfectly located from downtown and the beach; all within walking distance. I will definitely be staying there again.

This adorable historic cottage is situated right at the edge of the pedestrian area of downtown; as such it was easy to walk to everything, but we were pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful it was especially at night. Parking was never a problem. It was so much fun to stay here we will definitely be back! Owner was friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Dorothea was easy to work with. The home was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and a movie theater. There were ample supplies in the kitchen. Plenty of towels, too.

This well-managed property is conveniently located near beach areas and a thriving walker-friendly downtown shopping and dining district. Excellent and surprisingly large property with fully equipped kitchen and a HUGE back deck.

We enjoyed morning tea on the open front porch and all the effort that went into the gardens and landscaping. Street is pleasantly quiet!

We LOVED this place ! Dee was just the best to work with and went above and beyond when the website wasn't working for our booking. And the house? OMG, the HOUSE! It was really everything we'd hoped it would be and MORE! Not only is the decor eclectic and fun, there's a piano and board games to make it even more fun! Fourth of July was the perfect time to rent this home because the annual parade came RIGHT PAST the house. We just had to walk out front and sit down. The beach is more of driving distance, but we were able to ride scooters down and around the walking path. My teens said how comfortable the beds were. The downtown areas is just blocks away, a super easy and safe walk. I felt safe as a single person here with my kids. Definitely rent this place!

The purple cottage was purely adorable. It's clean, spacious, and located very close to all the restaurants, and even the San Buenaventura mission. It was delightful to be able to walk around. Thank you Dorothea, for being such a wonderful host.

We enjoyed our stay at Purple Moon. Very close to shops and downtown. The host was easy to talk to. Check in was easy. The place was clean and as listed. Our 5 year old son had fun in the mini rocking chair. We loved walking the neighborhood. It was a charming time.

I was unable to arrive as planned due to the Southwest mess Christmas Day. I messaged Dorothea explaining my dilemma. She called me & told me “No worries “ ! She assured me I have my original reservation to complete whenever I want to come. I look forward to meeting her in person very soon!! She has me rebooked for a Spring trip to Ventura!! I will be reporting back on the property then.
