Mooie ruime kamers, prachtig resort, wel duur restaurant!
Restaurant erg duur

Location and grounds very good. The lady who gave my daughter and myself a facial was brilliant, thank you.
We had coffee in the hotel and felt as if we were in the way, we were the only ones there. Though the guys who warned us of the fire alarm were friendly.

The Lochside Cottages are very spacious and are surrounded by stunning views of the resort.
I can’t say there’s any negative points to the accommodation

Amazing balcony views over the loch and the hills beyond, lovely hotel grounds to walk around, good living space in room
Very expensive in the restaurant, stairs and corridors to the rooms in lodges look a bit grubby and dated but once inside the main room it was all forgotten.

Excellent facility. Wonderful, manicured grounds. Polite, friendly and helpful staff. Adequate parking. Very comfortable, spacious apartment. Great location. Wonderful weather (not included!).
Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful setting and most of the grounds are very well kept (tennis courts need upgrading).
Ideal location on the loch side & shops only a short drive away. Apartments are a really good size. Wifi works well & the small cleaning bag was very helpful (cloths, bin bags, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets). Plenty of clean towels and spare bedding available.
The resort itself needs a lot of updating, I was instantly disappointed walking in, the communal stairwell of the apartments needed a good clean as the walls were dirty & dead bugs squished on- same with the entrance vestibule of our apartment. The en-suites both had mould over the ceiling, but no wonder as the fans were caked in dust and need cleaned out to function properly. Bedroom curtains were mouldy too & cobwebs in most rooms. The kitchen facilities need upgrading as the cupboard doors are mismatched and don’t fit correctly. The sofas and beds were very tired and uncomfortable.
We were also very disappointed that the swimming pool was closed, we received an email the day before we arrived to advise (but of course by this point it’s paid & non- refundable or we would have) as this was one of our key points for booking this resort as our local pool at home has closed down and we would have been there daily with our son. Alternative voucher for the local swimming pool is provided (1 hour slot) but then it’s a 1 hour return car journey to get there…

Lovely view from apartment
Very dated decor. Black mould on bath. Extractor cooker in need of repair. The outdoor tennis courts had no net. Things were broken in the adventure playground. Overall, this place needs an overhaul! But you can't take away the location and the view from this place which was lovely

The area was absolutely breathtaking. The views, the walks, the calm, the stunning loch right across the road... It was perfect for relaxing and taking in beautiful views and getting closer to nature. The small village close by (Aberfoyle) was lovely, after a walk in the forest we spent a large portion of the day just there.
We stayed in a cabin close to the road, it was old, smelled of mold and in desperate need of refurbishment. Would be good to air out the rooms a bit before guests arrive.

Our forbears lived in kinlochard way back to the 1800s and we know a lot about the area.
So we enjoyed revisiting old haunts etc
It was also our wedding anniversary so a treat to Diane and myself 😁 by
We left a note of a couple of items from our apartment that needed attention found by us on arrival

Chalet was very dated but clean and spacious

The location is stunning, and the view from the accommodation was amazing.
Just on front of the resort you have access to water activities in a beautiful lake..,Accommodation was tidy and comfortable with all the necessities including kitchen utensils and appliances.. the atmosphere of the lobby was also amazing..

The gardens are beautiful and so is the surrounding scenery
The apartment looks tired, broken floor in kitchen, ripped sofa, nearly broken dishwasher, dirty, not locking French doors. Shower and jacuzzi nut functioning
8.0
The size of the apartment and having 2 bathrooms. The view from the balcony was superb. Plenty of storage space for clothes. The dog was able to come with us.
Had to request a teapot, and more importantly a rubber bath at to prevent slipping. There was a vacuum cleaner but no brush an dustpan. We are in our 70’s and we’re located on second floor with no lift.

A family friendly resort in a fabulous location with a lot to do on-site. The appliances in the apartment’s kitchen looked to have been recently updated.
The apartment we stayed in was generally quite dated and had a worn feel. One of the bathrooms had a very stale smell.
The pool was closed for the duration of our stay which was a shame as we’d intentionally booked a hotel with a pool.
We found the food in the bar to be very expensive (£10.50 for a bowl of soup).

Location.
Swimming pool was closed. Poor internet connection WiFi weak.

Stunning grounds! The lodge was roomy but a little dated. The pool was good-sized and warm.
The prices at the restaurant are a little scary when you are with kids. It is a shame The Rafters was not open while we were there.
6.0
spacious flat with kitchen and living dining room. good view to loch. pretty grounds. clean.
reception staff for first 3 days not very helpful or friendly. failed to volunteer at check in that both restaurants would be closed the following night. since we were discussing dinner it would have seemed natural to share this. No nearby eating alternatives so required driving back out to local town 4 miles away after driving back from hike. didn’t answer room phone either time had to go to reception in person. requested tea pot per kitchen instructions never came.
3.0
Location, cleanliness. The grounds were lovely.
The pool and the jacuzzi were out of action for our whole stay.. There was no sofa bed as there should have been. The water bucket for the indoor jacuzzi was holed and poured water all over the floor. The sit on grass cutter woke us all up slightly prior to 8 am as it was operated outside our window with considerable noise . Consideration should have been given to the guests as they are there to relax.

The grounds, views, facilities and location were stunning.
Nothing really

Excellent meal on main dining room on Saturday evening. Good good well served. Rafters food poor.
Cleaning and maintenance of lodges must be improved. These were top of the range once but very tired now.

Great location and dog friendly
Great visit to spa where staff were super friendly and helpful
The lodge was really dated and tired looking
Cooking facilities very lacking and hob awful to use
Bathrooms need updating
Bar and restaurant understaffed Service very slow and food very mediocre

The view.
Dated decor, room patio door didn't lock and whole apartment could do with an update

The lodges are large and comfortable and with stunning surroundings. Although slightly tired looking, they have adequate cooking facilities and multiple bathrooms.
The lodges have large balconies with breathtaking views over Loch Ard.
Although available, the Wifi is slow and intermittent and also didn't reach all rooms in the lodge.
The prices in the hotel for food and drink were overpriced in our opinion. We would have chosen to eat/drink at the hotel restaurant more often if they were more reasonable, however opted for self catering.

loved having the freedom of self catering but with the hotel facilities.
staff seems very busy and to get anyone’s attention was a long wait.

Liked the pool
We found underpants under our bed which weren't ours. Our hot water didn't work and the clothes horse was broken.

The grounds are lovely, facilities looked good but wasn't there long enough to enjoy, liked sauna in apartment and apartment was comfortable and well equipped with lovely view looking onto the loch even saw a deer not far from balcony. Bedrooms were lovely with very comfortable beds and ensuite which was good only problem was couldn't get the shower at correct temperature went from hot to cold for a wee while but then adjusted. Having toiletries and towels supplied was good. All in all very enjoyable and enjoyed by all the family. Would definitely go back.
Bar prices were a bit expensive with glass of wine ranging between £8 to £11 and about £7 for pint of beer. Was only there for a weekend so can't say too much but enjoyed it nevertheless.
8.0
Amazing location, very spacious accommodation (apartment with sauna) and comfortable facilities with everything we needed. Lots of handy parking and the accommodation was warm and comfortable. Check in and check out were both quick and easy.
Decor is a little tired and could do with a refresh. Accommodation smelled a bit musty.
