Room was adequate in size, some additional space for clothes helpful. Bed reasonably comfortable.
Found the breakfast set up somewhat strange. Pay before you eat could be taken as mis trust. On occasions thought more staff at times would have been helpful, on occasion I felt residents were waiting unnecessarily.

De kamers zijn prima, schoon en netjes ingericht. Ik vond ze net iets te klein maar je hoeft er ook alleen maar te slapen natuurlijk. Badkamer was wel erg ruim, schoon en netjes. De douche was heerlijk. De locatie is perfect als je de stad wil gaan bezoeken. Bus stopt voor de deur.
Wat een minpunt zou kunnen zijn is dat de kamers aan de straatkant wel last kunnen hebben van het geluid van het verkeer. Ik heb er geen moeite mee gehad.

Super praktisch gelegen, im Großen und Ganzen sauber.
Sehr schlechtes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Winziges Zimmer für richtig viel Geld. Aber natürlich weiß ich, dass Edinburgh im August nicht billig ist. Aber dennoch…

Good location to get into the city centre, ver good public transport links. Room was comfortable my only criticism would be the shower was small, but apart from that the stay was very good.

Friendly staff, good beds.
I have a glutenallergy and although the staff provided seperately cooked vegetables for me for dinner (which was great and didn't make me sick) the breakfast buffet seemed not safe for me. I got cross-contaminated and was sick.

Newly refurbished rooms with everything needed for a comfortable stay.Enjoyed a Carvery meal and a cooked breakfast.Staff all pleasant and helpful.Plenty room in free car park- registration required.Bus stop at door with frequent buses to city centre.Close to Edinburgh Zoo and Murrayfield.

This venue was close to where I was needing to go which was why I booked it.
There was a reasonable variety for breakfast. Very busy for evening meals.
The room was very tired looking.
I had to walk through a very busy dining area to get to my room and as the room was on the ground floor I was unable to open the window through the night as there were no locks on the window.

Ideal location for our purpose. Benefit of free parking & WiFi. Adequate facilities on site.
Sadly now looking a ' bit tired' & in need of some updating.
FORTUNATELY ,they have a lot of great staff who compensate for the shortcomings.
The actual building is in need of some financial investment . It is ,at the moment quite dingy and has a noticeable aroma around the property & in our room.
I did notice a 'works' notice outside the property ( couldn't read!) so hopefully these matters will be addressed soon.
I hope the staff are retained & rewarded!
