We had 5 middle aged couples stay for the Louisville experience and it was wonderful. The property was terrific... the house is in a safe neighborhood and was very comfortable for 5 couples. it was walking distance to church, restaurants and a short drive to downtown. It was a perfect spot for us and we would definitely stay here again.

The pictures beautifully represent the house! It is truly as lovely as advertised and wondered equipped. The linens were great and the kitchen well supplied. The location is very convenient!

We had a great time returning to our old stomping grounds. The Bardstown Road area is great and a short walk down into the winding park roads of Cherokee and Seneca parks was delightful. The house is large and so comfortable. Every amenity is supplied and it feels like home. Would definitely stay again if we needed a house of this size.

We were a group of 4 couples in town to visit distilleries. This house was more than perfect for us. Very clean and we enjoyed having two living rooms and two kitchens. The location is also great, we were able to walk to dinner one night- highly recommend Noche Mexican BBQ. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area!

We had the BEST time at the Bourbon Mansion! Kristen was so friendly and helpful throughout the process. The neighborhood is amazing and we still feel like there was so much more to explore. The home itself is so clean, very spacious and decorated beautifully! We will be coming back!!

This was such a great space to stay for a birthday weekend with friends! There was plenty of space, very comfortable and close to everything! Would love to come back in the spring or summer and use the patio!

I hosted five college girlfriends and rented this house for the six of us. We are early 60's and have been friends for 40+ years. The house was perfect for our group! Great, inviting kitchen on the first floor for breakfast and for charcuterie. We each were able to have our own room and only two of us had to share a bathroom (third floor). Lots of space for hanging out and visiting, with a living room on the first floor and a sitting room on the second floor. One friend went for a morning run down Douglass Blvd. into nearby Cherokee Park and loved it. The house was centrally located for our explorations of Cherokee and Seneca Parks, Cherokee Triangle, Cave Hill Cemetery, Frankfort Ave., Highlands neighborhood, and dinner at Le Relais. Beds and linens were very comfortable, kitchen well-appointed, house exceptionally clean. Highly recommend for groups or families! Spacious and more affordable and convenient than a hotel.

This is a beautiful, spacious property, and well located. Four couples and one single person shared the home, and it was perfect for our needs. Love that 5 of the bedrooms have king beds, and everyone had their own private bath. Kitchens on both the first and second floors were well stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals. Kristen & Eric were very responsive when we had questions. Quiet neighborhood, and very close to a beautiful park. I would definitely rent the home again if I were traveling to Louisville.

The house, the location, the owners.... everything was absolutely perfect!!

Wonderful home! This home was perfect for our family of 12 adults. The owners have made sure everything you might need is included in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The living areas were just the right size for all of us to play games and visit. The patio was a great place to wind down at the end of the day. We would definitely stay in this home again.

We were blown away by this house! Three floors meant that we had plenty of space to spread out and feel at home. The living room downstairs and the den upstairs were perfect places to sit in the air conditioning during a Louisville heat wave. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We were walking distance from several great restaurants and a quick car ride away from the local grocery store. We were in easy striking distance of downtown Louisville, and it was simple for us to get on the road to Bardstown and the Bourbon Trail. The owners were gracious and quick to respond to questions we had during our stay. We highly recommend this house for your next stay in Louisville!

This home is gorgeous and fit our extended family great. Location is walking distance from a cute farmer's market on Saturdays, restaurants, bars, chic record stores, and CVS if you forget something. The home has soft linens and I was pleasantly surprised to find shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap in every bathroom. We had an issue with some lights our first night and the owner was responsive and allowed us to remedy it ourselves with their guidance. Would definately stay here again and recommend these owners.

This was an incredibly clean and well-renovated property. It is unassuming from the front but beautiful and expansive inside. Our family had a great time here. Highly recommend.

Great property and great owners/managers. Cannot say enough about the quality of the property and their communication with our group of 12. This house and owners will meet or exceed your expectations. It is important to know however that Louisville has an outdoor noise ordinance that begins at 10pm sharp!. This literally means everyone has to be inside at 10pm. Even normal talking on the back porch isn't permitted. The neighbor next door will come over and will file a complaint. As long as this isn't an issue for your group, I highly recommend this house.

This property was excellent! Our hosts were timely with communications and the house is exactly as represented. Our owners made suggestions for restaurants and even arranged transportation to and from the races. Our family of 5 couples enjoyed this spacious home as though it was ours. Well done!

Perfect place to stay to visit the Bourbon Trail! This house is awesome! We only used five of the six bedrooms but set up the rest of the house for fun! One living room we used for playing games and the other we used for just hanging out and watching tv. One kitchen we set up a bar, the other had all the food. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed having their own bathroom. We got snow and ice on our first and second days there and the owners had people out quickly to make sure we were safe by salting the walkways and the driveway. We’d love to come back!

We had 5 couples stay - everyone had enough space for privacy, and the two living rooms and kitchens provided perfect spaces for gatherings!

For a family of 13 (all ages) the Douglass house was perfect. Not only was the room arrangements perfect for families, but the house is gorgeous. The look and feel of the history made for a great week. It is close enough to walk to an area of old town to shop, get coffee or groceries. Perfect!!!

We had 9 adults and were looking for a place that each individual/couple could have their own bedroom as well as a walkable neighborhood. This place fit that bill and (bonus) allowed everyone their own bathroom (third floor bedrooms share but we didn’t use both bedrooms). The home truly was perfect for our adult family to spend the weekend together, with some distillery visits sprinkled in.

This was a great house in a great location. Plenty of room for 4 couples to spread out, have privacy when it was needed/wanted and great common spaces for hanging out. House is minutes from Kroger, a few restauraunts/bars and a short drive to downtown. An unexpected bonus was the local farmer's market that popped up at the end of the street on Saturday morning.

Home was perfect for a group trip to bourbon country! The kitchen was fully stocked for us to have “family-style” meals. There was ample parking for two SUVs and two sedans in the back of the property. We really enjoyed the outdoor space which included seating for guests at both the front and rear of the home. The rocking chairs at the front of the home really “Rock!” Even with ten guests staying at the home, our friend managed to find a quite space to do some remote work.

Everything was as described. House was clean and check in process simple. Location was easy to get to and very walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Highly recommend for a large group or family.
