This condo was an ideal home base for our family trip to the Kailua-Kona area. The condo itself was spacious and comfortable, with a huge lanai and beautiful ocean views. The resort was great, with multiple pools and many sports activities for kids to enjoy. The location was also great, close to many restaurants and great beaches with tons of water activities, snorkeling, etc. Overall, it was an amazing place to stay. We were VERY sad to leave!

The roaches in the bathroom and kitchen were one thing, but my bedroom unfortunately had a hornet infestation. I contacted the owners and noboby returned my message. Had to check out early and find a new place. Very unfortunate the owners couldn't take responsibility and do the right thing by giving me a refund. Also the place was noisy from the pool which was supposed to be the quiet pool.

It was a comfortable & short stay with fantastic view, constant cool breeze. I wished I could stay longer.

My husband and I lived on the Big Island for 11 years, this was our first trip back. The condo was just Beautiful and perfect, exactly what we needed! The condo was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed to cook, go to the beach and hang out. Our hosts checked in if everything was good and of course they had thought of everything!! We hope to go back soon and will stay in the condo as truly everything was perfect! Vacation of all vacations!!!

Perfect Hawaiian vacation location for retirees. Great ocean views (see whales from the lanai!), good acces to dining, shopping and activities. Safe, quiet neighborhood. What more could you want?

Great place to stay. Beautiful view off the lanai to enjoy sunsets. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need. Air conditioning would be nice…but open windows and fans worked just fine for us. A designated/reserved parking spot would be nice, but again, wasn’t a big deal. Comfortable bed, nice lanai, well stocked kitchen. Owners were easy to communicate with and quick to respond.

1 bed rm condo is very spacious for 3 adults. Shopping center with grocery store right out side the complex. Very well stocked and surprised by welcome gift -- 100% Kona coffee, cookies, and a pear. Only thing I wish to have is darker window covering in bed room and living room.

Superb in all respects. Great view, equiped with all kitchen essentials and small appliances, beach chairs etc. Local contact responsive and very helpful.

The Kona condo was everything we needed and hoped for. The location was great, easy to navigate, close to shops and places to dine at. We loved the quiet pool below us. The condo was very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and lanai. And the great view! It was a wonderful week and we hope to return. We felt comfortable and appreciated as guests.

We really enjoyed this condo for the week. It was very well stocked and we are convinced we had the best view of all of the Kona Coast Resort. We really enjoyed the amenities at the resort as well. We were a bit nervous about no A/C before we checked in but there are plenty of fans and it really cooled down at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Located minutes away from beaches, snorkelling and shopping. This spacious condo has a beautiful view of the sunset, great fully stocked kitchen and great living space and lanai. The location is very quiet. We had lots of space to have people over for dinner. Pools are nice. We will definitely stay here again. Jannette and Peter are great hosts who left a lovely welcome basket.

Loved the location of this unit in relation to adult pool just below unit. Private feeling on third floor. Lanai is huge. Ocean views forever. Was a bit hot a few days due to no wind.

I booked this property from 8/8/22 - 8/10/22. I came back from an excursion at 9:30PM & found cockroaches crawling on the kitchen counter & on the living room wall. There were 3 cockroaches ran out under the knife block when we lift it up. Our grocery bag with food we just bought were crawling with cockroaches. I watched a cockroach crawled up my water bottle when I was frantically trying to contact the owner (text, call & email). Luckily I was able to book a room at the Holiday Express in town for $400/night. The owner didn't get back to me until the next day after I left the property & she actually stated she didn't see the reason for me to leave the property. She stated they spray the ground for cockroaches & she will ask to have extra spray. The owner only refunded me a fraction of what I paid for this property. In addition, there is no AC & the temperature was over 90F. There was no amount of fans or trade wind blowing into the property to cool down at all. Forget about VRBO doing anything because I didn't contact them & the owner within 24hrs. I was so distraught that I was not in the right frame of mind to remember or to put aside the excursion that I paid so dearly so that I can contact VRBO within 24hrs! If you don't mind cockroaches then do enjoy the beautiful view.

The condo is very spacious and and very well equipped. The view from the balcony is beautiful - great place to watch sunset. There is no AC and the place gets quite hot during the day, but the fans help to cool it down.

House was clean! Property has everything to make a perfect stay! The view is awesome and it's nice to have the quiet pool so close! Would definitely go back!

The space was beautiful! They left a cute little note and snacks for when we got there. The space was very clean, the previous review mentioned the carpet, but it had either been replaced or deeeep cleaned as it was super fresh. The space was well stocked and has the best view! Hopefully will be staying here again!

The kitchen is in the process of being renovated, and the updated choices thus far are superb. Our only issue was with a housekeeping faux paux. The unit was not ready, and though we called the owner, who quickly got things straightened out, it disrupted our evening plans. We left for our dinner plans with housekeeping still working, only to return and later learn the dishwasher was not unloaded. We could not comply with the homeowner's rules of placing our dishes in the dishwasher and starting it before leaving.

We just concluded another relaxing stay at KCR Unit 1-304. We've stayed in this unit for a number of years. This unit is conveniently located to all of the facilities at KCR we like to use as well as the Keahou Shopping Center for our resupply needs ( including Bianellis Pizza!). The unit itself is functional with a great sunset view out of the living room and the lanai. The kitchen is fully equiped. The washer and dryer in the unit work fine as well. Occasionally the warm water takes a bit longer than expected to get up to this top floor unit from the hot water heater in the basement but this really hasn't been a major issue The owners of the unit are great. They are available and responsive to any condo needs or issues that might arise and do so in a timely fashion. We would definitely recommend KCR unit 1-304 for a relaxing , comfortable vacation destination in the Kona area.

Except for a few updating and maintenance issues which are being addressed, the unit is a very spacious corner unit for those Kona breezes, well located, with a beautiful view and well stocked.

The location is great, the views are beautiful. This condo is quite old but functional, stocked pretty well and has a lot of space. However, it is quite dirty. The carpets are very dirty, you can visibly see the difference in color around furniture, there isn't AC so you need to open blinds and windows, both of which are also quite dirty as well as the fans. I don't have severe allergies but even mine were affected by all the dust.

The condo owners were very responsive and helpful. They left a welcome fruit basket for us and checked to be sure we checked in okay. The location is only two minutes from the best snorkeling spot on the island, a good restaurant (Tropics) is within walking distance as is a grocery store, and it is easy and quick to get to a nearby bay and beach by car. The downtown area is about 15-20 minutes away. The unit has great ocean views and is very spacious. A total kitchen makeover is needed, however, and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. We would stay at Kona coast resort again in a moment but would be choosier about the actual condo next time.

Well maintained, fully equipped, very livable. High ceilings, spacious, large lanai with great views, especially at sunset.
