We have stayed here before two years ago in a Junior suite Room 100 for two nights (very nice). The location is overlooking the estuary and is stunning. Paradors usually have amazing locations and this one does not disappoint. Hence my rating solely for this.
As usual, apart from the location and the rooms the Paradors' continue to disappoint in terms of customer experience and satisfaction.
We as a couple have used Paradors frequently over 18 years and find there is a culture of indifference to their clients. Sadly it was the case in Ribadeo.
The room a superior one had a really tired bathroom. 4 star?
The restaurant served up Luke warm food despite being advised of this the last time we stayed and ignoring a written complaint from my partner who is an Amigo member.
Pity I love the buildings and the rooms!
I will continue to use you on this basis but sad you cannot do better.
Vilalba in September is next on our list - maybe you could forewarn them?

Lovely scenic position superb room (I paid for an upgrade) lovely sun lounge easy to find and free parking.
I have looked forward to staying in this parador for some time. For the price paid the room was noisy. I would have expected more insulation between the rooms I even heard next doors Bowles being evacuated and the shower was like someone was jet hosing the wall. Not the Paradors fault but I expected it to be quieter for the money paid

Beautiful views.
But this parador is not well kept up, very old inside. Noise levels between floors were unacceptably high, we were woken up each morning at 6:30 from someone taking a shower which was REALLY loud

Really good location and very spacious room.
The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant staff were bad tempered. There was a wedding party in the hotel and the thumping ‘music’ sounded in the restaurant. The food was of a good standard.

The room was spacious with a sitting area as well as glass balcony when you could watch the boats sail by and the timber carrying ships unload.

This was an exceptional facility. Our room was huge with a beautiful glassed-in balcony that we really enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was a cut above the rest. Highly recommend it!

Our room was huge. We had a king size bed and a sitting area with sofa and arm chairs. There was also a glassed in balcony with chairs overlooking the port and water. The breakfast was great. Options included eggs made to order, fruit, yogurt, and sweets. The location was excellent and easy to find.

Unfortunately, i was not lucky enough to get a room with a view. But the room was otherwise good.
