Right next to the beach.

Room advertised as refurbished, clearly wasn’t, very dated worn. Stains on walls, fan wobbling like it was going to fly off, rusty nails hanging out of light fittings, no pool view, room not cleaned properly, no dining table. Don’t be deceived by the pictures, room provided was substantially different. Would not stay again.

We loved the garden around the pool, with lush tropical plants.

Some of the other guests were quite noisy, but that would be the case in any resort.

The pool was nice. The kitchen was okay. There was enough clothes storage. It was nice to have a washer and dryer.

The kitchen and bathroom floor were very dirty, and the interior paintwork was damaged and dingy. A nonworking clock in living room was reported, as was the fritzing kitchen light, but neither were fixed before we left. The tumble dryer was mounted so low that the washing machine lid can't be opened fully. There were instructions to keep the aircon on full at all times because the walls sweat otherwise, but this made it much too cold to sleep in the bedroom. (The tumble dryer vents straight into living area which might be the cause of this sweating.) Worst of all was the cheap, noisy fridge which made a constant loud sound like a spinning washing machine. A ‘ground floor’ apartment means "up 2 flights of stairs from carpark and one down to ground level."

Location was nice Management was good, refunded extra nights so we could stay elsewhere

Description was for refurbished room. Privately owned appartments managed by resort. The room was definitely not refurbished. Sliding door hard to open, loose toilet, loose taps, food on remote.

The resort was across the road from beach and an amazing Cafe, with great coffee & food. Nice pool area, but could of had a bbq area.

At first we were disappointed it wasn’t in Cairns it’s at Holloway Beach (even though it’s called Cairns Beach Resort) it’s about a 15/20min drive, but this was actually a plus because it wasn’t in the hustle & bustle of Cairns and central to other attractions. Needed some TLC around stair areas and our unit said garden view but was basically the road and houses across the road.

the fact the resort is only 15 mins from Cairns . The resort was located in a quite suburb compaired to other suburbs that have larger resort style facilities. The pool was clean and kept at a friendly temperature for swimming all year round. the surronding area around the pool was kept clean and tidy.

Can't say much about any faults. The only things I feel the room may have needed some cleaning products to wipe over kitchen and tables after use. The BBQ outside was removed which prevented cooking outside

Great location right across the road from the beach. Lovely large apartment with good facilities. Huge King Size bed. Was able to check-in early. Close to local shops and on a bus route.
