Room was good - very big - plenty of space and the breakfast was superb.
These places never have enough tea, sugar and especially milk. No trouble however getting more from reception.

beautiful location, convenient to bus stops, the beach and the pub. if you wanted to, you could spend the whole time at the resort and not miss a thing.

El emplazamiento y la finca son, simplemente espectaculares. La jardinería exuberante, cuidadísima y de un gusto exquisito. Tiene amplias zonas para pasear y vistas magníficas sobre St. Ives y el mar.
El edificio es, igualmente, imponente.
El personal de recepción, muy atento y servicial.
La puerta situada en medio del pasillo al lado de la habitación nos procuró una noche de ruidos continuos, lo que, sumado al emitido por una máquina de aire acondicionado, impidió el descanso.
El cuarto de baño con una iluminación del siglo pasado, bañera peligrosa, tanto por su excesiva altura como por suelo resbaladizo; el lavabo sin grifería monomando ni mezcladora.
Necesita una reforma integral, al menos de las habitaciones.
El desayuno malo, con poca variedad e inexistencia de quesos, por ejemplo. Tampoco fruta, o, al menos, no la había ya cuando desayunamos.

Very smart newly renovated room outside of the main castle, very clean room and good facilities in the room
The swimming pool was dirty and grimy, not pleasant to swim in and service in the fitness centre was poor, waited for 15 minutes for someone to come to check me in but nobody came!

Beautiful grounds and view of the town, nice outdoor swimming pool.
Listing stated it had a Spa but it does not, No Jacuzzi, No Sauna, just pools. Treatments not available on Sundays and Mondays. Bar was horrendously over priced. Room very basic, no fridge. Massively over priced for a basic room with no Spa.

There isn’t a place or room to really relax with a drink at the end of the day.

Location is great, the grounds and facilities are extensive. The staff were helpful and friendly if seemed a little tired. Carbis bay and st ives are lovely.
This hotel is building lot of self contained units and the leisure facilities swimming pool gym etc are very busy. Parking on the site is a nightmare.
The hotel bar and restaurant by comparison are empty at night apart from a few stragglers from the golf course. Not much atmosphere in the hotel in the evening so we hardly used any of the facilities.

Hotel was great and staff were friendly and really helpful.
Although I knew it was a hotel that catered for weddings unfortunately our room was right above the function room. There were 2 weddings on and one night the music was so loud it was thumping through our room and didn't get turned off til midnight, the night after the music wasn't so loud.

The grounds are stunning, it’s a really beautiful place to stay. The bedrooms are big and the staff are all lovely and helpful. It’s a short walk to the beach and in to St Ives. It’s hilly but doable if you are moderately fit. We managed it carrying paddle boards! I’ll definitely be back- we really loved our stay.
The shower wasn’t very good- could just about get it warm enough but the pressure went. Ended up having some pretty chilly showers! There was a wedding taking place and the noise could be heard in our bedroom as we went to sleep. The bar was pretty pricey.

The surrounding, green gardens and walking paths in the garden feels like a forest and this is relaxing.
Except the beautiful gardens there is nothing special ablut the hotel. Inside of the rooms furnitures are quite old. Breakfast is average, nothing special. The value is not worth except the surrounding garden. Pool is very small. Especially indoor pool is not usefull. No chairs no space etc.. no jakuzi or sauna although it was written.

The location was lovely. We really liked the gardens and the outdoor pool was lovely and clean and heated the food was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful

The fact the property was a castle - but the experience didn’t capitalise on the uniqueness of the property. Parking was good.
Would have liked a fridge in the room. A shuttle down to the town/return would have been welcome.
