Small rooms but that comes with the territory!

The staff and service was truly exceptional. Every detail attended to. The room was beautiful and well appointed and the breakfast was quite exceptional.

We had a king bed, however the top was too mattresses together so there was a crease in the middle, which could be a bit annoying.

The staff is great and the facilities are fantastic. The food at the restaurant is very good.

There is no gym to work out, especially when is not possible to jogging around the hotel since is a car road.

The staff at this hotel are all incredible; some have been in employment for 30+ years and they are all extremely helpful, kind and professional. My waiters at dinner & breakfast were attentive & charming, not at all intrusive. The spa manager, Catia is on another level altogether; she is an outstanding, intuitive, holistic therapist who offers an 'experience', not just a treatment. Must get a treatment from her while staying at this hotel. Breakfast is an exquisite banquet: local, traditional pastries & cakes, fresh fruits, cheeses, full honeycomb, freshly squeezed juices, hot options... Wow!

The evening tasting menu is overpriced for what you get; the skin of the grouper fish wasn't crisp and the brulee was not by far the best I've ever tried. The cheese board was very basic. I'd said prior to my arrival that I can't have Sulphur Dioxide but they still served bread containing dried fruits with the cheese board; a lack of communication between Reception and the kitchen.

A very beautiful converted palace. Highly professional and welcoming staff. Gorgeous room with all necessary accessories. Very beautiful gardens, with several peacocks roaming and “train rattling”.

The property’s location is excellent and good breakfast. The views are nice. but don’t be fooled by this.

I don’t know if I have enough room for all the details. However, let me begin by saying that they advertised air conditioning rooms and the truth is that only the blower fan works (for $500 a night, really!) They provided a regular fan to “cool” the room down. The shower head was not working. The floors are noisy and I understand it is an old palace, but come on! it’s a “5” star hotel.

The massage, the view, it was quiet, the room was big.

our bedroom wasn’t that clean when we got there. the safe had low battery.

The palace and its grounds are gorgeous, and the service is exceptional. Everyone was so kind and courteous!

Sintra is a beautiful place, romantic and full with sites to see, adding the hotel to the trip transform the entire week to a magical 5 days, the stuff was extremely helpful, breakfast was delicious and the room and the hotel made us feel like a royal family,THANK YOU!
