Staff obliging, carried luggage up flights of stairs as lifts had still not be fixed days after we were first informed prior to arriving they were not working.

Musty, stuffy room that couldn't be aired as the temperature was within a range that didn't allow heating or cooling by HVAC unit. Window could only be opened an inadequate few inches.

Quick check-in, nice clean toilet. Free parking (log registration with reception) and wifi.

Reasonably spacious room, very comfortable bed. Clean, well lit bathroom. Extraordinarily good value. Excellent location. Quiet. Warm, with own control of thermostat. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Good location for station and plenty of eating options nearby. 5-10 mins walk to shopping area and a little further to cathedral and castle. Room was fine, clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom pod was tidy. A good reasonably priced no frills stay. Helpful staff, able to leave bags.

Downstairs bar was a bit dark, but maybe better when busy.

It was in the middle of the night club area and we were not advised. It’s not good when they supply you with ear plugs. We didn’t stay, we paid and but then left to get quiet accommodation.

Didn't have breakfast here. But the room was very clean hands up to the cleaner A* and the heating was just right. Bed was OK. Didn't need to use the shower but it was very roomy. Like the idea dogs are allowed. Love the 12 o'clock check out.

Room felt weird like in a boat cabin, woke up feeling disorientated but that could be the night before 😂. Beds could have been a bit more comfortable definitely for the pillows to be firmer. Staff general attitude is dull, not very welcoming. Could have nicer coffee and a few more milks and sugars.

A problem with a security guard not letting me go to my room with my son to get a change of shoes straight away, we were let up eventually but the man was not very polite and my son was also down on the booking

we had very little sleep with the noise from nightclubs etc i think hotel should have double glazing , breakfast was very expensive so we went over the road and paid 5 pounds in witherspoons,

Central location

Noise from other guests, running and shouting in corridors all night and drinking in the car park, no sleep. Charged extra for the dog who was better behaved than anyone else in the building. Issues reported and apology offered but nothing further .

Clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Very cheerful and helpful staff. One of the best value hotels. Highly recommended for an overnight stay.

The carpets need a deep clean although the room was kept clean and tidy the flooring both in the room and on the corridors sadly let them down as they are in need of a good wash/clean. Regards Audrey Tillotson

It was central

requested a quiet room several months in advance on booking- allocated a room which over looked walkabout pub- couldn’t sleep even with earplugs due to noise!

Great staff, great breakfast. Comfy triple room right in the middle of town, very convenient for restaurants and shops.

Decor wise it's a little dated, communal areas are tired. The street it's on is noisy and busy, full of drunk revellers on weekend evenings (ear plugs provided if you need them but the double glazing is good, noise didn't bother us at all.)

I have mobility issues so was given a room to accommodate them ..Room itself was fine it was lack of grab rail on getting out of the shower that would have helped me...

Excellent location at the city center. Possibility to leave luggage for a while at reception after checkout.

Window in the room faces very noisy street. Thus, it was impossible to sleep when window was open. But, with closed window, there is not enough ventilation in the room and it smells badly.
