Läget är perfekt precis vid Ströget och Tivoli. Bra parkering i parkeringshus på andra sidan torget.
Hotellet är gammalt och lite slitet. Frukosten sådär, har upplevt bättre. Inget vatten på rummet. Vi ville avsluta kvällen med en drink. Men det finns ingen bar på hotellet så vi hänvisades att gå ut på stan.

Location was very good. Breakfast was excellent, Beds were comfortable and room was quiet.
So room was dusty, chandelier above the bed was caked in it. Decor of the room room was tired and there were stains on the carpet. No room service or bar which I thought was poor for a 4 star hotel. Mini bar was unstocked, you had to stock it yourself from shop in the lobby which had a limited choice.
The restaurant on the front of the hotel does not belong to Scandia , despite the hotel website giving the impression that it is freely available for dining and room service , it is not. Scandia Palace is a 3 star hotel, their rating is incorrect and all in all it is over priced for the service it provides. Living on a past reputation which appears to be long gone.

Voor een Scandinavische hotel ontbijt miste ik de Zalm, maar het was een ruime keuze, vriendelijk personeel, alles schoon.

La limpieza de la habitación, hay q solicitarla pero aun así no fue buena, en tres días no limpiaron el suelo del baño ni el lavabo.

Quiet room, good shower. Friendly stuff at breakfast area.
Booked a superior room. But had only little comfort. No slippers and bath clothes. Empty minibar fridge and nothing to drink when you arrive. Like of water. Kettle and fridge squeezed into wardrobe, uncomfortable to reach. When you travel you have to bring a lot of your own stuff. Wasn’t impressed

The hotel has a great location in the very center of the city; everything is very close for sightseeing and excellently connected by the Metro station; the breakfast is excellent and very varied; there are always a lot of people at breakfast; and the beds are comfortable.
Although the heating works all the time, the room temperature is such that you have to be well dressed all the time.
The hygiene and maintenance of the rooms in the hotel are at a low level; the rooms are not cleaned every day but upon request, and then only the towels are changed; the floors are not vacuumed enough. The carpet on the floor looks very dirty, and it took a while. I also saw cobwebs on the wall, which were on the wall for a long time, which means that the room has not been properly cleaned for a long time.

De locatie en de prijs / kwaliteit verhouding.
De ontbijtruimte was iets minder en je zat erg dicht op elkaar.
Geen parkeergelegenheid voor de deur voor in- en uitchecken.

My room didn’t have double glazing so was a bit draughty which I didn’t mind, but it did mean that it was also very noisy. Especially in the evening and early morning.
The bar and dining room were booked out during our stay, so there was no communal area to sit and relax and have a drink. Having stayed here before we had enjoyed and made use of the bar area so we’re disappointed that it was not available and that we had been warned beforehand.
My travelling companions were not happy about the bathroom not being cleaned daily.

Unfortunately a LGBT festival was being held at plaza across the street. The sidewalk outside the hotel was crowded with festival participants. We would have chosen another hotel if we had known of the festival.

Great location, breakfast tasted good and the staff helpful.
The room and the bed were both quite small, and the door to the bathroom was not able to completely close, so no secrets are possible there 😅

When I arrived I was quite blown away by the facade - just stunning! Then it was up to our room with its 12 ft ceilings and antique door….then inside to the beautiful bedroom and bathroom. The chandelier was tasteful, the beds were very comfortable and the view was lovely.
I was a little disappointed that the electric towel rails had been disconnected since I hand wash my smalls every evening and it would have been nice for a drying rack. The Breakfast Room was far too small and crowded to make Breakfast enjoyable, despite the range of food offered being absolutely top-notch!

The location of the hótel was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The shower in the bathroom was horrible, the water was either very hot or very cold. The room was only cleaned once and the beds were never made.

We had a king room with city view. Room was quite large. Bathroom and shower were huge. Bed was comfy. Breakfast had nice variety (although the breakfast area was a bit crowded- it was necessary to reserve a timeslot the day before to be seated right away- the hotel was at full capacity while we were there) Staff was pleasant. Room housekeeping was at request- not daily. This is a plus for me, as long as there are enough towels and coffee in the room, which there were.
We requested a city view room as we wanted a view of City Hall and the square. We realize this comes with the potential for street noise, which we have no problem with. That said, there seems to always be something going on in the square (our first day was a Brazilian Musicfest- second night folks celebrating the re-election of the Turkish president) Both were a little more than anticipated in terms of noise and went till about 11:00 PM (the day we left they were setting up for the Distortion Concert). Just be aware of the possibility of late night loud noise/and music if you have a city view room.
