Le personnel avec par exemple le concierge Sylvain qui nous a permis de rester jusqu’à 16h le dimanche sans frais additionnels histoire de profiter du spa, et du brunch 😉, la chambre sur le parc, les voituriers adorables etc.

overall, the property was amazing and well maintained! rooms are clean and new and the views of the hotel were amazing. the lobby Terrance, spa / gym was amazing, and the kids loved the kids club!
reserved 2 rooms in the same category but the actual space of both was different. one was significantly smaller than the other. the other think is the toilet's WC is very far from the shower / wash area and you almost have to walk across the room. i see this as an inconvenience and a design flaw.

My week was absolutely amazing, I went to the gym every morning and the equipment was first class….
The swimming pool was amazing, the staff extremely friendly and helpful…
The only improvement for me would be more variety of food on offer.
I don’t eat breakfast ,so lunch is important for me personally and it was difficult to get a booking at the Olive Grove buffet as it was always booked out.

Great location.
The meals in 'Le Veranda' restaurant were very good.
The pool and spa were wonderful.
The view from the room 'lake side' were amazing.
The entrance on arrival was very dirty (not just one pair of dirty shoes but looked like it had not been cleaned in days !).
The bags took over 30 mins to arrive in the room but we were alone checking-in ; then the bell-boy was hovering for a tip. You tip good service, not bad !
The mattress should have been replaced a year ago. The toilet did not flush properly.
I asked if we could have coffee instead of breakfast ; yes. It took 30 mins for the expresso & filter coffee to be served. It was cold and we were charged for 2 breakfast (76 euros) which I refused to pay. In the end we only paid for coffee the next morning and it was hot, but what a shame.

Beautiful location, amazing views, balcony, air con, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, attentive staff, English television, plenty of lifts, lovely grounds, near to funicular railway, easy to get to centre.
Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room, however it was available from room service which was very efficient.
