It didn’t come with flippets/ sandals for our robes and we had to buy some for 6.-

Classic family hotel style, spacious room. Makes you feel welcome and comfortable

Bathroom could do with a small touch up as well as the chairs and sofas in our apartment (but it was clean and functional)

We booked this hotel for 1 night, in the weekend. We were 3 adults, one kid and 2 dogs so we booked the apartment with 2 floors: first floor: one double bed, 2 single beds. Ground floor: a living room with 2 extendible couches in case needed (was not the case), a small kitchen and a toilet. The room was big and I installed the dog’s cage without restricting our moving around. The apartment is amazing and has potential to be awesome if refurbished (is very old). The price for the room was CHF 515, a price in line with the market for a 4 stars hotel. The room had a beautiful view on the lake. On the positive side, we were let to check out an hour later so we could enjoy the pool. The hotel has a nice lake exit and you can do kayak in the summer or swim in the lake. The most amazing thing about this hotel is the spa: one pool inside and one outside, both very nice temperature (hot). The view on the lake and mountains while you are in the outside pool is breath-taking. I would come back but only after some adjustments will be made.

We were offered a welcome drink, we said we would like to go to our room first (as we were tired) and we never received it after. The room was old, probably last furbished 40 years ago. Can be charming for some, as the bedrooms are in the attic. The room also has a beautiful view over the lake. Accordingly to 4 stars rules, but also on booking.com room description there are some mandatory facilities that they should have and they don’t: 1. Slippers: after we arrived, we wanted to go to the pool/spa. We changed and we could not find the slippers. I called the reception and told me that I have to pay for the slippers and pick them from the reception. Not convenient 2. Coffee: although there was a coffee machine in the room, the coffee pills were not for that machine so next morning I called the reception thinking it was a mistake. They told us that If I want the pills that match the coffee machine in the room, I have to buy them and the ones that are in the room I can use at the 1st floor. The coffee machine at the first floor (where the spa was) was not functioning. They only give us the pills when I called them very upset about this, saying I will leave bad reviews (how can you ask guests to go up and down in pyjamas for a coffee at a 4 starts hotel… or even at 3). Also there was no milk or sugar in the room for the coffee neither tea. 3. The vanity sets and the conditioner: There was no conditioner. I called and they again told me I have to pay for it. After insisting they should have (4 stars hotel) they brought 1 small 40 my bottle for all 4 of us.. The shampoo and the body gel was 2in 1 in a big opened bottle fixed on the wall. The vanity set was 1 for all 4 as well. 4. Accordingly to the hotels rules: All category hotels to provide two sealed bottles of branded bottled water of a minimum 400 ml. We did not received any bottle of water 5.

Nice hotel in the resort area of Weggis, good spa with different saunas, indoor and outdoor pool. Free underground parking. The rooms are classic-old, the staff is doing a good job with quick check-in and help.

The restaurant is not worth it - breakfast is more or less (but fried eggs is the only hot thing there), dinner is definitely not worth taking: expensive and not delicious.

Beautiful and peaceful location with breathtaking views in all directions. All staff were very friendly and helpful in offering tips for my day trips. Perfect location to explore the area by ferry as the boat launch is about a 15 min walk. The spa was exquisite with a relaxing atmosphere. Tobias, my masseuse, was highly skilled in therapeutic massage. Perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation for someone who loves natural beauty, wellness, and quieter towns.

the breakfast was everyday exactly the same. no variety in it at al. the pillows are terrible. they are mostly filled with air and when one is using them, they will become flat as a paper.

Fantastic views, very good spa and swimming pool

The view from my room balcony was breathtaking. The lake and the mountains followed by the moon's reflection on the lake every night isn't something you get to see usually. The hotel is family run. They serve an excellent breakfast followed by a great set menu for lunch that changes daily and dinner. All my meals were excellent.

Service, staff, food, location, pool and spa facilities were excellent but suited to adults

our apartment was not suited for a family with young kids furniture and fittings were outdated and in serious need of modernising balcony’s floor paint was peeling apartment advertised 2 bedrooms but it only one as the second ‘bedroom’ was an open space above the stairs

Everything was exceptional !! From our wonderful super clean room with magnificent views, to the staff who was super nice and friendly, great breakfast and….. the best pool I ever been in…. and I am from Florida, so I know pools…. …😊. Just exceptional !!!
